In the first season of the universal DH in 2022, four Dodgers players appeared at the position at least 20 times -- Justin Turner, Max Muncy, Will Smith and Edwin Rios. With Martinez being the full-time DH, it will mean that Smith will just have more off days. "I don't expect J.D. to DH 162. But he's going to be the guy who's going to be in that position 99.9 percent of the time. So if there is a time Will doesn't play, it'll just be an off day" manager Dave Roberts said. The five-time All-Star's power took a big dip last year (16 homers), but he also had a career-high 43 doubles. Fantasy managers shouldn't exactly be writing him off just yet.

Rob Refsnyder will serve as the designated hitter on Friday and bat seventh against Orioles right-hander Jordan Lyles. Refsnyder is hitting .309 in 94 at-bats for Boston this year, but he has very little pop (four homers) and is a low-upside DFS option.
