Alberto was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock on Thursday, Anthony Andro of FOX Sports reports.

Alberto will provide depth in the infield, but he doesn't hit for power, draw walks or steal many bases. While only 22 years old, he hasn't shown any real signs of possessing long-term upside.
