RHP Mike Wright was called up from Triple-A Norfolk before the game, but had an rough day, giving up two runs on three hits in two innings of relief in the Orioles' loss to the Yankees on Thursday.

RHP Mike Wright will be able to come up with Triple-A Norfolk and pitch for the Orioles starting Thursday. If the game had not been rained out Wednesday, Wright would not have been eligible until Friday when the team starts its weekend series in Cleveland. "We need some more arms, especially against certain teams," Orioles manager Buck Showalter said as the starting pitching continues to struggle.

RHP Mike Wright was sent back to Triple-A Norfolk to make room for LHP Donnie Hart. Wright made just one appearance, finishing last Friday's 16-3 victory at Boston with one scoreless inning as the Orioles started their three-game sweep.

RHP Mike Wright, scratched from the second game of a Triple-A double-header Thursday, was recalled to replace Dylan Bundy on the roster. Wright worked 11 1/3 innings in six relief appearances with the Orioles earlier this season -- and pitched a scoreless ninth inning Friday.
