New York Knicks forward Julius Randle (shoulder) recently stated he'd "love" to remain with the team. The 29-year-old had shoulder surgery in April but hasn't resumed on-court activities. He's also eligible for a contract extension in August, although there are many who believe he could be traded, something the front office has denied. Without question, Randle has been a quality fantasy asset over the years, and he finished the 2023-24 campaign by averaging 24 points, nine rebounds, and five assists in 46 appearances. He should remain productive no matter where end ends up when the season begins in October. Randle could even benefit if given a more prominent role in another offense.

According to NBA insider Evan Sidery, the Indiana Pacers want guard T.J. McConnell to remain with the team for the remainder of his career. The 32-year-old averaged a career-high 10.2 points with 5.5 assists and 1.0 steals during the 2023-24 campaign. He was also instrumental in helping the Pacers advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. McConnell, who has one year left on his current deal, is eligible for an extension this offseason. With that said, he isn't expected to be a routine fantasy producer in 2024-25, but he could get plenty of chances to be productive, considering Tyrese Haliburton's inability to remain healthy.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Taurean Prince hopes to ink a new deal with the team. He signed a one-year, $4.5 million pact last offseason and wants to extend his stay in L.A. "My family, the quality of life in Los Angeles is something that myself and my family haven't had in probably three or four seasons," Prince told Lakers Nation. "So to stay here would be definitely number one. If not that, then I mean, wherever the dominoes fall and wherever it's best, that's where I'll be. But I for sure want to be a Laker, 100 percent." Despite starting 49 times in 78 appearances and averaging 27.0 minutes, Prince didn't do much that pops out on the box score in 2023-24. He averaged 8.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists, shooting 39.6 percent from three-point range.

Miami Heat guard/forward Duncan Robinson is eager to develop further despite turning 30 in April. "I just turned 30, which is crazy," Robinson recently told Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald. "But what might even be crazier is I still think I'm far from a finished product. Maybe a lot of people say that 28 to whatever is your prime, but I feel like my prime is still ahead of me." After having stints out of the rotation last season, Robinson enjoyed a bounce-back year in 2023-24. He averaged 12.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, and a career-high 2.8 assists with 39.5 percent shooting from deep. Robinson is mostly seen as a three-point specialist and definitely has room for improvement in other areas.

Detroit Pistons forwardSimone Fontecchio(toe) had surgery on his left big toe on Tuesday and is expected to return by the start of training camp, per James L. Edwards III of The Athletic. Fontecchio missed the final 14 regular season contests with a contusion on his right big toe. However, the 28-year-old was reliable for the Pistons before getting injured. He averaged 15.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 0.9 steals in 30.2 minutes per game, starting in nine of 16 outings as he was traded from Utah in February to the Motor City. As a restricted free agent, he could attract interest from multiple teams, including Detroit. Fontecchio had previously expressed a strong desire to stay with the Pistons.

Dallas Mavericks forward/centerMaxi Kleber(shoulder) is set to return for Game 4 against the Timberwolves on Tuesday, according to NBA reporter Marc Stein. The 32-year-old power forward has been out of the Mavs lineup since May 3rd due to an AC joint separation. Kleber could see plenty of minutes as Derek Lively II (neck) is currently listed as doubtful. Before Kleber was sidelined, he averaged 19.3 minutes, 5.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 0.5 blocks in six postseason contests.

Indiana Pacers point guard T.J. McConnell enjoyed another productive bench outing on Monday against the Celtics, scoring 15 points and tallying five rebounds, four assists, and one steal as Indiana's season ended with a 105-102 loss. He finished with 7-for-16 shooting, missing his lone attempt from three-point range. McConnell impressed throughout the playoffs with his high-energy performances off the bench. He averaged 11.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 5.1 assists across 20.5 minutes. Plenty of teams will likely be looking at him as a potential offseason acquisition, with McConnell on a very affordable $9.3 million deal for next season. Recent reports suggest that he has been a long-term target of the Phoenix Suns, who are desperate for a point guard.

Indiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard was the squad's leading scorer with 24 points on 10-for-18 shooting as the team's season ended with a Game 4 defeat against Boston on Monday. The 24-year-old added 10 assists for a nice double-double and recorded six rebounds with one steal and one block. Indiana will be very disappointed by getting swept in the Eastern Conference Finals, but Nembhard's performances in the series are definitely a positive for the team. He averaged 28.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 9.5 assists in the two full games played without Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring). This was only his second season in the league, and Nembhard could be ready to make big strides in 2024-25.

Dallas Mavericks forward Derrick Jones Jr. demonstrated perfect three-point shooting in Sunday's Game 3 win over the Timberwolves, hitting 3-for-3 from deep to finish with 11 points. These are his first made threes in the series after Jones Jr. went 0-for-5 in the first two games. On Sunday, he also recorded a pair of rebounds and assists while producing a game-best plus-15 rating in 33 minutes on the floor. Jones Jr. has been a solid two-way contributor for the Mavericks during their playoff run, but he's been quiet in the matchup against Minnesota as Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic have taken over. Through three games, Jones Jr. has averaged 7.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists.

Boston Celtics center Luke Kornet (wrist) is questionable for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals versus the Indiana Pacers. He injured his wrist in Game 2 and wasn't available for Saturday's comeback win. However, with the Celtics just one win away from the NBA Finals, the team could play it safe by keeping him off the floor. With Kristaps Porzingis (calf) already ruled out, Al Horford would continue operating as the starting center, with Xavier Tillman Sr. in line to get more work. Unfortunately, Tillman hasn't done much this postseason, so DFS managers shouldn't consider him for their lineups.

According to Evan Sidery of The Sporting News and Forbes, the Utah Jazz are anticipated to "shop" forward/center John Collins this offseason. Collins has two years left on his current deal, which will pay him nearly $27 million per season and includes a player option. The 26-year-old played 68 games for Utah in 2023-24 after spending six years with the Hawks. Unfortunately, he averaged only 15.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists, considerably lower than his best season in 2019-20. At any rate, there's a chance teams around the league will be interested in acquiring him. However, it appears Collins is past his prime, although he could play better with a new team during the 2024-25 campaign than in the last few seasons.

Boston Celtics center Luke Kornet (wrist) won't play on Saturday night against the Pacers. He sprained his left wrist in Game 2 and didn't return. With that said, Kornet has gotten more minutes with Kristaps Porzingis (calf) out of the lineup. However, while that still hasn't made him an adequate DFS option, his absence could open up more minutes for Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser, with the C's likely to go small when Al Horford is on the bench.

Boston Celtics center Luke Kornet (wrist) is unlikely to suit up for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals versus the Pacers on Saturday night. Kristaps Porzingis (calf) has been sidelined for nearly a month because of a right Soleus strain, so Kornet has been getting more work. However, he injured his wrist in Game 2 on Saturday night and didn't return. With that said, there's a chance Xavier Tillman Sr. and Oshae Brissett could get on the floor more than they have during the playoffs. But there's also the possibility of the Celtics going small, resulting in more minutes for Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser. Of course, Al Horford will remain starting in the middle.

According to Fred Katz of the New York Times, the Knicks aren't looking to trade forward Julius Randle. However, the team could move him, especially if it means landing a superstar to pair with Jalen Brunson (hand). Randle has been productive in his last five seasons with the Knicks, and he finished 2023-24 by averaging 24.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists. Unfortunately, the 29-year-old was limited to 46 games and underwent season-ending shoulder surgery in April. Randle is eligible to sign an extension on August 3. But if New York has a chance to upgrade the roster significantly, his tenure in the Big Apple might be over before the 2024-25 campaign begins. With that said, outside of this year, Randle has stayed relatively healthy, making him an ideal fantasy asset. On the other hand, he has some areas to address, with his 33.3% career three-point shooting being one of them.

Boston Celtics center Luke Kornet (wrist) is questionable to return to Thursday's playoff meeting against Indiana. Kornet, who has been getting more action without Kristaps Porzingis (calf) in the lineup, lasted only five minutes before exiting with a sprained left wrist. If he doesn't return, he'll finish with two rebounds. While Oshae Brissett could get some work, there's a chance Jayson Tatum could spend time in the middle, although Al Horford should remain the top option at the five.

Minnesota Timberwolves forward/center Naz Reid had a busy night off the bench in Wednesday's Game 1 against Dallas, recording 15 points, five rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block in a 108-105 loss. Reid demonstrated perfectly why he was voted the Sixth Man of the Year, making an impact in all areas across 24 minutes of action. He finished with 5-for-9 shooting, going 3-for-6 with the three-ball. Reid's numbers have dropped in the playoffs, along with his playing time, but that's now three efforts in four games with 10-plus points from him. Minnesota will need more of the same in the battle against Dallas' well-equipped frontcourt.

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Jaden McDaniels opened Wednesday's Game 1 against Dallas with 4-for-4 three-point shooting and was the team's top scorer in the end in a 108-105 loss with 24 points. The 23-year-old enjoyed his third consecutive 20-point effort with 9-for-15 shooting, hitting six of his nine attempts from behind the arc. McDaniels' night also included four rebounds, three assists, and one steal. Minnesota's young forward has built himself a reputation as a very good defensive player, and he was selected to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team at the start of the week. But McDaniels has also been on a roll offensively lately thanks to some very sharp three-point shooting, going 12-for-18 from deep across his last three appearances.

Boston Celtics forward/center Xavier Tillman Sr. (personal) is questionable for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Pacers. He wasn't available for the overtime win on Monday night. However, the 25-year-old has logged just eight minutes throughout the postseason, averaging 2.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks, meaning he likely wouldn't have received much (if any) work. That likely won't change, considering there's a chance Kristaps Porzingis (calf) will be back for Game 4 on Monday. In the meantime, Al Horford will hold things down in the middle, keeping him on the DFS radar, with Luke Kornet coming in off the bench.

Indiana Pacers point guard T.J. McConnell continued his strong stretch of performances with a good 25-minute outing in Tuesday's Game 1 loss to Boston. He scored 13 points on 6-for-11 shooting off the bench and dished out four assists while recording three rebounds and one steal. McConnell has become a very useful spark plug off the pine for the Pacers, posting a pair of double-doubles and scoring in double figures in six of the last eight games. Boston has one of the most unproductive benches in the league, meaning Indiana's second unit has a big role to play in the series if the team wants to match the Celtics.

On Tuesday, Boston Celtics forward Xavier Tillman Sr. (personal) was ruled out for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Pacers. Both Tillman and Kristaps Porzingis (calf) are listed as unavailable. The 25-year-old's absence won't impact DFS play, as he has only seen action in three of 10 Celtics' postseason games, averaging 1.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, 0.7 assists, 0.3 blocks, and 0.7 steals in 8.3 minutes per contest.
