Mon Apr 14 201419:01Francisco Garcia says he's playing on Monday
Francisco Garcia said he will play against the Spurs on Monday.
The Rockets will be close to full strength while the Spurs will not. Garcia won't have much of a chance to shine with Chandler Parsons (wrist, hip) good to go. He's not a fantasy option.

Mon Apr 14 201418:28Francisco Garcia true GTD on Monday
Francisco Garcia will be a true game-time decision on Monday due to a back injury.
He's too risky to use in any fantasy leagues right now, but could end up having some decent silly-season production if he's able to go tonight.

Mon Apr 14 201412:04Francisco Garcia (back) may return Monday
Francisco Garcia (back) went through Monday's shootaround and he may return to action vs. the Spurs.
Garcia is averaging 24 minutes per game in March but his role fluctuates from night to night, and he doesn't get enough statistics to be worth a roster spot in average fantasy leagues.

Sat Apr 12 201419:12Francisco Garcia out on Saturday night
Francisco Garcia (back) will not play against the Pelicans on Saturday.
He's dealing with a lower back issues and is hoping to be back on Monday vs. the Spurs. Omri Casspi is getting the start tonight and should see a nice chunk of minutes. Expect to see a lot of Jordan Hamilton, as well.

Tue Feb 11 201400:28Francisco Garcia scores six in return on Mon
Francisco Garcia returned to action on Monday with six points, one board, one assist, one block and two 3-pointers in 12 minutes.
He was supposed to play against the Bucks on Saturday, but never had a chance. Garcia is basically out of the rotation and will not have fantasy value on the Rockets. The Rockets do have him on the trade block, which still is highly unlikely to help his fantasy value.

Sat Feb 8 201419:11Francisco Garcia may play a little vs. Bucks
Francisco Garcia (knee) could see some playing time against the Bucks on Saturday night.
He hasn't play since Jan. 16 with a knee issue and was expected to play on Wednesday. Garcia might not even be in the rotation due to shooting 30.0 percent in his 18.0 minutes per game in January, so he's well off the radar in fantasy leagues.

Wed Feb 5 201413:04Francisco Garcia (knee) will return Wednesday
Francisco Garcia (knee) said that he will return to action vs. the Suns on Wednesday.
Garcia hasn't played since Jan. 16 and he's likely to play limited minutes as he regains his conditioning. He was limited to single-digit scoring in 13 consecutive games prior to his injury, which says enough about his lack of fantasy appeal.

Tue Feb 4 201411:43Francisco Garcia hopes to return Wednesday
Francisco Garcia (knee) hopes to return Wednesday against the Suns.
Garcia has missed the Rockets' last eight games with his sore left knee, but practiced on Monday and could be available Wednesday night. Garcia had only taken 31 shots in the 13 games before his injury, so his scoring upside is quite limited. While he can be a semi-valuable fantasy option as an injury fill-in, Garcia is best left on waivers in deeper leagues.

Fri Jan 31 201415:19Francisco Garcia back at practice on Friday
Francisco Garcia (knee) was back at practice on Friday afternoon.
He's been out of the lineup since Jan. 16 due to left knee tendinitis. Garcia is believed to be on the trade block for the Rockets and has decreased his productivity as the season has progressed. Even if he comes back before James Harden (thumb), he's still only an option in very deep leagues.

Mon Jan 27 201415:58Francisco Garcia 'dangled' in trade talks
The Rockets have "dangled" Francisco Garcia in trade talks, according to Yahoo! Sports.
He's pretty much been useless for the Rockets and couldn't get anything going even when the team was depleted on the perimeter. Garcia has almost no fantasy value right now and a trade wouldn't help enough to stash him in almost any format.

Mon Jan 27 201414:55Francisco Garcia (knee) still not practicing
Francisco Garcia (knee tendinitis) was unable to practice on Monday.
Garcia was initially ruled out for a week but that was 10 days ago. Omer Asik (thigh, knee) was also unable to practice and there's no timetable for either guy to return.

Sat Jan 18 201419:30Francisco Garcia to miss one week of action
Francisco Garcia is dealing with knee tendinitis and will miss the next week.
He was already ruled out for a sore left knee and the Rockets are just going to rest him until he's healthy. The good news is Chandler Parsons is back and they'll be getting Patrick Beverley back on Monday. Garcia has very little fantasy value.

Sat Jan 18 201418:45Francisco Garcia (knee) won't play Saturday
Francisco Garcia won't play on Saturday due to a sore left knee.
Garcia is averaging 20 minutes per game this season, time which will go instead to Omri Casspi, Aaron Brooks and possibly Ronnie Brewer. He is day-to-day.

Sun Dec 29 201300:46Francisco Garcia scoreless again Saturday
Francisco Garcia missed all four of his shots and failed to score in Saturday's win.
Those of you who started him for five games this week have to be frustrated, and even if he does anything in Sunday's Game 5, he's simply not worth owning as long as James Harden can walk. Garcia can get hot and post a big line at any time, but he is in a real funk, totaling just nine points in his four games this week. Yuck.

Sat Dec 21 201323:30Francisco Garcia plays well in start
Francisco Garcia started in place of James Harden (ankle) and hit 6-of-11 shots and four 3-pointers for 16 points, five rebounds, four assists and a block in Saturday's win.
Any time Harden is out, Garcia and Omri Casspi will eat up his minutes, while Dwight Howard will also help pick up his scoring slack. Casspi played 31 minutes off the bench and hit 5-of-9 shots and a 3-pointer for 13 points, six rebounds and seven assists, but it doesn't sound like Harden is expected to miss much time.

Sat Dec 21 201319:29Francisco Garcia is starting for Rockets
Francisco Garcia will start in place of the James Harden on Saturday against the Pistons.
The Rockets are getting thin at guard with Harden and Jeremy Lin out of the lineup. Garcia has been up and down all year, but he has a huge opportunity here.
