Mon Jan 28 201323:17Ben Gordon puts up 18 in loss at Chicago
Ben Gordon scored 18 points in Monday's loss to the Bulls with three rebounds and four 3-pointers in 28 minutes.
He certainly wanted to stick it to his former team and he wasn't bashful about taking contested jumpers. Since Gordon's goose egg on January 21, he's averaged 17.0 points with 2.3 triples. The inconsistencies will be a pain, but he's worth a look for owners needing some scoring and treys.

Ben Gordon came off the bench for 18 points, two rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks on 7-of-13 shooting in 30 minutes of Saturday's win.
He didn't hit a 3-pointer, but appears to be heating up again. He's scored between 12 and 18 points in three of his last four games, but it's important to note that Kemba Walker, Ramon Sessions and Gerald Henderson also played well tonight. Just keep an eye on Gordon.

Mon Jan 21 201316:59Ben Gordon scoreless in eight minutes
Ben Gordon went scoreless in just eight minutes of action on Monday, missing all four of his field goals.
The Bobcats are 0-7 when Gordon scores 20+ points and most of his scoring outbursts are the result of a conscious effort to erase large deficits, but today Charlotte hung with Houston until the bitter end. BG should bounce back in the coming week, but this game should be more than enough reason to avoid him.

Ben Gordon scored six points on 2-of-5 shooting with two rebounds and two assists in 15 minutes on Friday.
Gordon has gone cold and though Gerald Henderson is dealing with a back issue, we'd recommend that owners make him prove himself before considering an add.

Tue Jan 15 201322:40Ben Gordon disappears in ugly loss to Pacers
Ben Gordon hit just 3-of-9 shots in 14 minutes on Tuesday, finishing with seven points and zero 3-pointers in a loss.
Gordon was pretty hot coming in, scoring in double figures in 10 straight games, including topping the 20-point mark in three of his previous six games. This game was never really close, and we wouldn't be surprised to see him bounce back in the next one.

Mon Jan 14 201322:28Ben Gordon still playing solid minutes
Ben Gordon shot 5-of-14 from the field for 12 points to go with two rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes against the Celtics on Monday.
While the stat line isn't spectacular, the 30 minutes and 14 shot attempts bode well for his value. Gordon played 25 minutes per game in his last 11 games and his minutes are trending upward, too. He has double-digit shot attempts in 10 consecutive games and is worth owning in standard leagues.

Sat Jan 12 201321:31Ben Gordon scores team-high 21 points
Ben Gordon scored a team-high 21 points off the Bobcats' bench on Saturday, hitting 9-of-14 FGs with three rebounds in just 26 minutes.
The Bobcats boast the league's highest scoring backcourt (51.2 ppg) and they're third in bench scoring (40.9 ppg) thanks to the explosive duo of Ramon Sessions (seven points, six assists) and Ben Gordon. Unfortunately, they're dead last in frontcourt scoring (44.5 ppg) and points allowed (103.9 ppg), which accounts for their lousy record. Gordon remains a streaky source of points and treys.

Sun Jan 6 201323:05Ben Gordon scores 18 points in road win
Ben Gordon scored 18 points in his first game in Detoit since leaving the Pistons, knocking down 7-of-12 FGs, including two 3-pointers, though he missed a potential game-winner at the end of regulation.
Gordon's three years with the Pistons were dismal, and they ultimately traded him in a salary dump for Corey Maggette. He's averaging 13.4 points in a reliable bench role for Charlotte, however, and coach Mike Dunlap said recently, "[Gordon] has lived up to his billing ... We certainly need his scoring and he has the view of a veteran." He's a viable low-end fantasy SG thanks to 13.5 points, 1.7 threes, 2.4 assists and 0.7 steals per game.

Fri Jan 4 201323:30Ben Gordon scores 27 on Friday
Ben Gordon scored 27 points in 28 minutes against the Cavs on Friday, adding two rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers.
Ben has slowly warmed up with his points rising in each of the last four games. He's taken 13.8 shots per game and scored 16.5 points over that span, but we still wouldn't call him reliable for his propensity to completely fall off from time to time. If you have someone you have no problem cutting and need scoring, then give Ben a look in some standard formats.

Mon Dec 31 201218:01Ben Gordon lights up Bulls for 15 points
Ben Gordon lit up the Bulls for 15 points off the bench on Monday, adding three rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in 24 minutes.
BG was seemingly inspired by boos from the home crowd, as he went out an shot 7-of-12 from the field without attempting a single 3-pointer. This gives him double-digit points in four straight games, but unless his playing time increases he's not a reliable option.

Fri Dec 28 201223:45Ben Gordon returns from his knee injury
Ben Gordon returned from his sore right knee on Friday and had 10 points, one rebound, one assist and one steal in 20 minutes against the Nets.
He returned from a three-game absence and he wasn't really worth owning before that point with his inconsistent minutes. Unless you're in dire straits for 3-pointers, BG should be left on the wire.

Ben Gordon (right knee soreness) will not play against the Warriors on Friday.
Gordon was coming off a nice 15-point outing on Wednesday and this news came out of nowhere. He suffered a right knee contusion on November 19, but this doesn't mean it's an aggravation. He may miss more games and he shouldn't be owned in standard leagues given his inconsistency.

Gordon did well to produce in the minutes he had tonight, but that's the rub with him right now in a crowded backcourt. Owners should simply watch Gordon unless they're desperate for 3-point shooting.
