Ben Uzoh has signed a one-year deal with the Italian team Fabi Shoes Montegranaro. |
Uzoh will replace Edgar Sosa on the roster after the latter had a gruesome leg injury recently that will sideline him at least the next six months. Uzoh spent part of his rookie season with the New Jersey Nets after spending time in the NBDL. Uzoh, an unrestricted free agent, will not have an out clause in his contract to return to the NBA for 2011-12. |

Uzoh is unlikely to do much more than be a thorn in the side of Farmar's owners, but weirder things have happened with Napoleon running the show. While the lopsided score would suggest the bench was just emptied, Avery Johnson glared at Farmar for much of the game, whose defense and decision-making was suspect -- but didn't play as bad as Johnson felt he did. |
