Scola is finalizing a one-year deal with the Raptors, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reports.

Scola tweeted earlier Wednesday night that he was headed north, but this is the first report of an actual deal. The contract is worth $3 million and would allow Scola to bolster an already strong front court after averaging 9.4 points and 6.5 rebounds in 21 minutes per game last season with the Pacers.

Scola announced on Twitter that he will sign with the Raptors.

No official report has come out on his contract negotiations, but Scola could be a valuable asset to the Raptors front court with DeMarre Carroll and Jonas Valanciunas.

Scola averaged 9.4 points, 1.3 assists, 6.5 rebounds, 0.6 steals, and 0.2 blocks in 21 minutes per game during 81 regular season games in 2014-15. He will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Scola came off the bench as a role player for most of the season, playing behind David West in the lineup. During November, Scola was rotated into the starting lineup in place of the injured West, averaging 8.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.4 blocks in 25 mpg over 16 contests. Though he's a competent scorer and rebounder, Scola hasn't had a big enough role over the last three seasons to hold consistent value in standard leagues. Heading into free agency, Scola could fill a similar role for a team as a solid bench player, but at age 35, his production is on the decline.

Scola scored a season-high and team-high 23 points (10-15 FG, 3-3 FT) in Sunday's win over the Heat to go with 12 rebounds and one assist in 19 minutes.

This was Scola's second straight game with double-digit rebounds and the third time in his past six games that he's scored in double figures.

Scola will start in place of David West (illness) at Milwaukee on Thursday, the Indianapolis Star reports.

West's illness has been described as an allergic reaction, but the severity is unknown. In 15 previous starts this season, Scola fared well, averaging 8.9 points (on 50 percent shooting), 7.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 0.7 steals in 25 minutes.

Scola posted a double-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and one block in 31 minutes of action Friday against the Cavaliers.

Scola is averaging 9.4 points and 8.6 rebounds over the last five games, and has been fairly consistent with the minutes given. He's still not worth owning in 14-man formats because of his lack of defensive contributions. However, owners in 16-man leagues could give him a long look.

Scola scored six points (3-9 FG) with two rebounds and one assist in 19 minutes on Saturday.

Scola has maintained his role as the first forward off the bench for the Pacers. He has averaged 9.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 20 minutes this season, and would only see an uptick in minutes if David West got injured.

Scola (rest) returned from a one-game absence with 13 points (3-5 FG, 7-7 FT) and five rebounds in the loss to the Kings on Saturday. He played 21 minutes.

Scola missed the win over the Knicks on Thursday and had one of his better games in January with the few days of rest. He had only scored six points in his two previous games in very limited minutes.

Scola (rest) is expected to be in the rotation for Saturday's game against Sacramento, Indianapolis Star writer Candace Buckner reports.

With Lavoy Allen (knee) unavailable, the Pacers will likely need Scola to be active, especially with DeMarcus Cousins in town and capable of putting Indiana's bigs into foul trouble.

Scola (rest) is considered doubtful for Saturday's game against the Kings.

Assuming Scola doesn't play Saturday, that will give him an extra five days of rest since the Pacers won't play again until Wednesday when they face the Pistons. If he stays sidelined for a second straight game Saturday, Ian Mahinmi will likely see added time on the court.

Scola was rested for Thursday's game against the Pacers, but is expected to be available "if not for the next game, then the game after that," according to coach Frank Vogel, the Indianapolis Star reports.

Scola had been averaging around 15 minutes recently, but apparently showed signs of fatigue, as the coach decided to sit him. The veteran forward should return to his normal minutes when he does make his return to the court either Saturday or next Wednesday.

Scola has produced modestly this season. He is averaging 9.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game this season.

The 34-year-old forward is a nice fill-in for most leagues - you should get what you expect from Scola. He plays about 20 minutes a night and will give you nearly double digit points and six rebounds, but he has the chance to give owners a double-double any night. This isn't to say he needs to be owned, but if you need a spot start there are definitely worse options.

Scola scored 12 points (5-10 FG, 2-2 FT) with 14 rebounds, three assists and a steal in 22 minutes off the bench Wednesday.

It's his fourth double-double of the season. The Pacers' rotation remains in flux, but Scola isn't likely to move into the starting lineup or see a big bump in minutes despite Wednesday's solid effort.

Scola scored 12 points (6-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT) and added nine rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes of play against the Hawks on Monday.

With the injury to Ian Mahinmi, Scola will likely see some extra minutes. Additionally, David West and Roy Hibbert are returning from injury, so they aren't up to their full workload yet. All in all, there may be some added value in Scola as the Pacers attempt to regain their health.

Scola came off the bench and scored five points (2-8 FG, 1-2 FT) while adding eight rebounds, two assists, and three steals in 22 minutes against the Magic Friday.

Scola moved to the bench to make room in the starting lineup for David West (ankle). Despite coming off the bench, however, Scola remained effective, and played only two minutes fewer than his per game average while he was starting. West's return hurts Scola's value, but if Scola can maintain at least 20 minutes per game off the bench, then the hit to his value should be small.

Scola will move back to the bench with David West's (ankle) return to the starting lineup Friday, Pacers reporter Scott Agness reports.

Scola enjoyed a long stint in the starting lineup with West out for the entire season thus far. Although, Scola's minutes will likely be held in check moving forward with West back on the court.

Scola scored 14 points (4-11 FG, 1-3 3P, 5-6 FT) with 11 rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in 34 minutes during Monday's win over the Mavericks.

He's now averaging 30 minutes, 12.8 points, 9.8 boards and 1.0 blocks over the last four games. Scola should continue to get plenty of run in the short term given the number of injuries in the Pacers' front court, so grab him if you need some help on the glass.

Scola had his best game of the season with 21 points (10-12 FG, 1-4 FT) and 11 rebounds in 30 minutes in the win over the Bulls on Saturday.

Scola had seen limited minutes in his previous two games, but was able to stay on the court and convert his shots against the Bulls. This game was a likely outlier and not the start of something big, but Scola is certainly worth owning in deeper leagues.

Scola could start the Pacers' season opener with David West (ankle) out of action.

West is dealing with an ankle injury and will miss at least the first three games of the season. Scola seems like the natural replacement, though coach Frank Vogel is yet to provide a starting lineup for Wednesday's matchup with Philadelphia. Scola had a rather quiet first year with the Pacers last season, averaging career, per-game lows in points (7.6), rebounds (4.8), assists (1.0) and minutes (17.1).

Scola had five points (1-5 FG, 3-5 FT), two rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block in Tuesday's exhibition contest against the Timberwolves.

Scola drew the start in favor of the injured David West (ankle), and expects to continue to start while the star power forward is on the shelf. Chris Copeland and and Lavoy Allen also saw some run at the power forward, with the former getting the starting nod at small forward. West is expected to be ready for the Pacers' season opener, but if the veteran suffers any setbacks, Scola would be in line for increased playing time, potentially leading to short-term fantasy value. However, it's worth noting that the 34-year-old Scola posted career-lows in most statistical categories in 2013-14.
