Hamilton scored 16 points (6-8 FG, 2-2 3P, 2-2 FT) with three assists, three steals and two rebounds in 21 minutes during Wednesday's preseason win over the Celtics.
He looked good at both ends of the court, something that hasn't always been the case in his career, and Hamilton seems intent on winning an NBA job this preseason, whether in Toronto or with another club who notices his improved performance.

Hamilton scored 12 points (6-10 FG, 0-2 3P) in 20 minutes of court time off the bench during Tuesday's preseason game.
He's battling Greg Stiemsma and Will Cherry for the final available spot on the Raptors, and while Stiemsma's ability to protect the rim probably gives him a big advantage in that competition, Hamilton won't hurt his chances if he continues to provide these kinds of minutes in the preseason.

Hamilton will be in a training camp battle with Will Cherry and Greg Stiemsma for the final spot on the Raptors' roster, the Toronto Star reports.
Hamilton might be the best fit of the three from a roster construction perspective, but he'll also need to prove he can buy into coach Dwane Casey's defensive system at least a little if he's going to get serious consideration.
Thu Aug 14 201412:50Hamilton signed one-year deal with Raptors on Thursday
Hamilton signed a one-year deal with the Raptors on Thursday, Sportando reports.
Always viewed as a high-upside player in the right system, Hamilton has struggled to find a home in the league. He's spent time with both Denver and Houston, where he closed out 2013-14. In three NBA seasons, Hamilton owns career averages of 5.8 points and 2.8 rebounds. Toronto is not overly deep on the wing, and Hamilton will surely challenge James Johnson and Landry Fields for minutes behind Terrence Ross and DeMar DeRozan.
Sat Mar 1 201423:50Jordan Hamilton plays well in start vs. DET
Jordan Hamilton got his first start in a Rockets uniform on Saturday during a 118-110 win vs. the Pistons, scoring 13 points, four boards, one assist, one block and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes.
He fit right in tonight for his new team as he was able to attack the basket and take six 3-pointers. Hamilton has been in double figures for each of his last three games and looks to be in the rotation. Although, Chandler Parsons (illness) not playing tonight and garbage time in the first of those three helps inflated his stats a bit. There's little reason to add him for Tuesday's game.

Sat Mar 1 201418:37Jordan Hamilton will start vs. Detroit
Jordan Hamilton will start at small forward for Saturday's game against the Pistons.
It's his first start with his new team after being acquired at the trade deadline last week. Hamilton has been used in 24 minutes for each of the last two games, averaging, 14.0 points, 4.0 boards, 1.5 steals and 3.0 triples. Fantasy owners can look his way for a plug-and-play.

Thu Feb 27 201403:33Jordan Hamilton scores 16 in loss to Clips
Jordan Hamilton played 24 minutes off the bench and hit 6-of-12 shots and four 3-pointers for 16 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals in a loss to the Clippers Wednesday.
Omri Casspi didn't even get off the bench tonight and Hamilton is a guy you'll want to put on the radar going forward. He was recently acquired from the Nuggets and looks like a better player than both Casspi and Francisco Garcia. He also had 12 points and two 3-pointers on Tuesday, and it looks like Kevin McHale likes him.

Thu Feb 20 201413:13Jordan Hamilton could be dealt Thursday
Nuggets forward Jordan Hamilton continues to be discussed in various trade talks on Thursday, according to Yahoo! Sports.
That's all we know at this point. Hamilton has been starting and playing well with Ty Lawson sidelined and could be a decent role player for another team, just like he is for the Nuggets right now.

Wed Feb 19 201402:17Jordan Hamilton scores 7 in another start
Jordan Hamilton started again for the Nuggets and had seven points, four rebounds, a steal and a block on 3-of-7 shooting in Tuesday's loss.
He went off for 16 points, six rebounds, seven assists and three steals in his last game before the break, but couldn't do it again tonight. As long as Ty Lawson is out with a broken rib, Hamilton looks like a starter for Denver, but will be inconsistent for fantasy owners who choose to roll with him.

Tue Feb 18 201413:29Jordan Hamilton starts at SG on Tuesday
Jordan Hamilton will start at SG for the Nuggets on Tuesday.
Randy Foye will start at PG with Ty Lawson (ribs) unavailable, while Darrell Arthur will shift to the Nuggets' bench. Hamilton had 16 points, six boards and seven assists in Denver's last game before the break, and he's worth watching closely with a temporary starting job in hand.

Thu Feb 13 201401:09Jordan Hamilton scores 16 off bench
Jordan Hamilton came off the bench and hit 7-of-14 shots and two 3-pointers for 16 points, six rebounds, seven assists and three steals in a loss to Minnesota.
Hamilton had 11 points and a 3-pointer on Monday, and then was rewarded with 33 minutes tonight. Darrell Arthur started and failed to score, so Hamilton is a guy you should put on your radar in case he continues to play well after the All-Star break. But once Ty Lawson is back from his broken rib, Hamilton's role could take a big hit.

Mon Feb 10 201421:51Jordan Hamilton gets some garbage time
Jordan Hamilton played 25 minutes against the Pacers on Monday with 11 points, three boards, one assist and one 3-pointer.
He played the last six minutes of the game due to it being a blowout, so the 25 minutes is a little misleading. By comparison, Hamilton looked better than teammate Quincy Miller tonight, but neither player deserve much of your attention in almost any league.

Tue Dec 31 201300:33Hamilton posts dud in starting lineup
Jordan Hamilton played just 10 minutes in Monday's loss to the Heat, scoring three points with three rebounds and one 3-point bucket.
Hamilton playing just 10 minutes is certainly odd and there may be more to this situation than we know right now, but either way he's going to have to act quick if he's going to make any headway in both fantasy and reality basketball. He can certainly be dropped for a hot free agent, though owners will want to keep an eye on him in case he turns it around.

Sun Dec 29 201300:55Jordan Hamilton scores 12 in another start
Jordan Hamilton started at shooting guard again on Saturday and had 12 points, two rebounds, zero assists and two 3-pointers on 4-of-8 shooting in 26 minutes.
That makes back-to-back starts with 12 points and we'll have to see more from him if he's going to have fantasy value. Owners in very deep leagues will want to hang onto him until we see how this plays out, but he's still not a must-own player at this point. Randy Foye had 11 points in just 14 minutes off the bench.

Sat Dec 28 201301:32Hamilton scores 12 points with seven rebounds
Jordan Hamilton started for Randy Foye in Friday's loss to the Pelicans, scoring 12 points on 5-of-13 shooting (including two threes) with seven rebounds and one block in 32 minutes.
Foye logged just seven minutes but Brian Shaw didn't exactly sound sold on the move before the game, and considering the Nuggets lost handily it's unclear if this is a game-changing moment for Hamilton, a brief foray into the starting lineup, or something in-between. He has been a 14-team value in just 19 mpg on the season, including an ugly 40 percent mark from the field, so needless to say he'll have some upside if he can take the starting job and run. Give him a hard look right now in standard formats.

Fri Dec 27 201313:38Jordan Hamilton to start over Randy Foye
Jordan Hamilton will start at shooting guard over a struggling Randy Foye for the Nuggets on Friday.
Daily players should take note, and owners of Foye in deep leagues should immediately consider dropping him for Hamilton. Hamilton has his own issues lately, hitting just 4-of-28 shots over his last five games. However, a move to the starting unit could boost his confidence and he could end up paying off as a pickup if the move to the first five sticks. Foye appears to have lost his confidence, hitting just 9-of-40 shots over his last five, and missing his last 12 shots over two games.

Sun Dec 22 201302:07Jordan Hamilton hits 1-of-10 shots
Jordan Hamilton played 27 minutes in his return from a one-game suspension for throwing a punch, but hit just 1-of-10 shots for four points, four rebounds and one assist on Saturday.
Randy Foye is really struggling right now and Hamilton is worth keeping a close eye on going forward. He couldn't get his shot going tonight, but did score 17 points a week ago Friday.

Wed Dec 18 201316:07Jordan Hamilton suspended one game by NBA
Jordan Hamilton has been suspended for one game by the NBA for his actions in Tuesday's game against the Thunder.
He took a swing at Steven Adams in transition and was ejected for the infraction. Hamilton was doing it while running in transition and it isn't a terrible offense. Although, the NBA does have a zero-tolerance policy on throwing punches. He will sit out out of Friday's game against the Suns and WIlson Chandler should have an even bigger chance for minutes. The video of the punch is attached in the link below.

Wed Dec 18 201300:09Jordan Hamilton ejected after throwing punch
Jordan Hamilton was ejected from Tuesday's game after appearing to throw a punch at Steven Adams, which will likely result in a suspension.
The AP report says that he shoved Adams, but it sure looked like a punch to us. Hamilton has been hit or miss all season and has now totaled just six points over his last two games. And with a likely suspension coming, we're expecting a bunch of zeros in his next one.
