Houston Rockets point guard Trevor Hudgins hit five triples and had a game-high 26 points as the team remained perfect in the Las Vegas Summer League with a 105-92 victory over the Thunder. With the likes of Tari Eason and Jabari Smith Jr. kept out of action, Hudgins had a major role in the proceedings and also played his part in the attack with seven assists. He shot 10-for-20 overall from the field and grabbed three rebounds while collecting one steal. Hudgins went undrafted a year ago, but he earned himself a two-way contract with the Rockets and that led to him eventually soaking in some NBA action as well. The 24-year-old was a 20-point scorer in the G League. Hudgins has also secured a two-way contract for next season, but it's going to be very tough for him to nail down a spot in the Rockets team.
