In the previous series against the Thunder, Irving averaged only 15.7 points, so he looked almost like a different player in the Western Conference Finals opener, and his scoring is a major plus for the Mavericks.

Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday had by far the best offensive outing of the 2024 postseason on Tuesday, finishing a 133-128 overtime victory against Indiana in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals with 28 points on 10-for-16 shooting. Entering Tuesday, Holiday hasn't managed more than 18 points in any playoff game this year, finishing with less than 10 points in four of 10 games, but he looked like a different man on the court Tuesday night. As usual, Holiday, who finished 4-for-8 with the three-ball, also made his mark defensively, snagging three steals, and he capped off his line with seven rebounds and eight assists. This could be another quick series for Boston if Holiday can keep up his form for the rest of the week.

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Mike Conley (calf) is questionable for Wednesday's postseason battle with the Mavericks. The 36-year-old suffered a right Soleus strain during the Western Conference semifinals against OKC. While the injury cost him Game 5, he was available for the series' final two contests. Conley averaged 10.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and shot 52.9% from deep in four regular-season meetings versus Dallas. However, he's not always reliable for DFS purposes, and he may be even less dependable due to the injury.

According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, speaking on FanDuel TV's Up and Adams, there is a "growing belief" that Paul George will remain with the Clippers. The veteran could become an unrestricted free agent this summer if he doesn't sign an extension and declines his $48.8 million option. While he has interest from several clubs, it appears he may remain in Los Angeles. George isn't the player he once was. However, the 34-year-old still averaged 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in 74 regular-season appearances for the Clippers. He also shot a career-high 41.3% from behind the three-point line. With that said, George will remain a coveted fantasy option for all formats heading into the 2024-25 campaign. But his inability to stay healthy during his career is something fantasy managers should keep in mind when drafting.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard/forward Gordon Hayward has expressed displeasure with his role on the team. "Disappointing with how it all kind of worked out. Certainly frustrating," Hayward said. "I feel as a player, I have a lot to offer. Just wasn't really given much of an opportunity to do that. I thought I would be given that opportunity." After the Thunder traded for Hayward in February, the former All-Star averaged just 17.2 minutes per game with the team and saw even less action in the playoffs, logging 47 minutes across seven appearances. Hayward will enter unrestricted free agency this offseason after completing a four-year, $120 million deal.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Mike Conley (calf) is set to play in Game 6 versus the Denver Nuggets. The starting point guard missed Game 5 of the series and was originally listed as questionable with a right soleus strain, however, he appears healthy enough to suit up as Minnesota faces elimination. Nickeil Alexander-Walker filled in for the veteran in Game 5, but will likely revert to his role off the bench. Conley has played a valuable role in the Timberwolves' success this postseason, averaging 11.3 PPG and 7.0 ASG.

Boston Celtics forward/center Al Horford got his fingerprints all over Wednesday's 113-98 win over Cleveland, notching 22 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, one steal, and three blocks with six makes from downtown. At 37 years old, Horford became the oldest player in league history to finish a playoff game with at least 20 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and five triples His efforts in the postseason tend to be inconsistent, but Horford was certainly a man on a mission Wednesday night. He can now get his body some rest as Boston awaits its Conference Finals opponent from the Knicks-Pacers matchup. Kristaps Porzingis (calf) is expected to return in the next series, pushing Horford back to the bench, but the savvy veteran should still find ways to impact games.

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Mike Conley (calf) is questionable for Thursday's matchup with the Nuggets. Like others around the National Basketball Association, the veteran is battling a Soleus Strain. He wasn't available for Game 5, resulting in Nickeil Alexander-Walker entering the starting lineup and finishing with 14 points, five assists, and two steals. The Timberwolves are a loss away from elimination, so Conley will do all he can to get out there. However, if he does suit up, he likely won't be fully healthy, which isn't ideal for his DFS potential. But if Conley isn't out there, Alexander-Walker has value potential for DFS participants.

On Tuesday, Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Mike Conley (Achilles) is listed as questionable for Game 5 versus the Denver Nuggets. Due to right Achilles soreness, Conley is a late addition to the team's injury report. The 36-year-old veteran point guard is averaging 11.9 points, 6.4 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 31.2 minutes during the playoffs. If he is absent, Jordan McLaughlin, Monte Morris, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker could see an uptick in minutes during the contest.

Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving contributed only nine points as the team was beaten 100-96 on home court by the Thunder on Monday. He finished with 4-for-11 shooting, missing both attempts from downtown. Irving's stat line also included one rebound and nine assists with one turnover and five fouls. It's been an up-and-down series for Irving, as he now boasts two nine-point duds but has gone for 20-plus points in the other two games. If the trend continues, we should see Irving bounce back in Game 5 on Wednesday. Overall, he's averaging 15.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 1.3 steals in the matchup.

Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday had 16 points in Monday's win over Cleveland. He also had seven boards, five assists, three steals, and one block. The 33-year-old has been on a roll, amassing 34 points and shooting 7-for-12 from behind the arc in the last two games. While Holiday has been difficult to trust from a DFS standpoint, especially after his subpar play in the Conference quarterfinals versus Miami, he deserves attention for Game 5 on Wednesday night.

According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, there is "belief around the league" that the Chicago Bulls will re-sign DeMar DeRozan in the offseason. The six-time All-Star is heading to unrestricted free agency, but it looks like he won't leave the Windy City, with the Bulls reportedly ready to offer a big contract to DeRozan. He is finishing off a three-year, $81.9 million deal. The Bulls have gotten plenty of value for their money with DeRozan, who has continued to perform at a high level despite turning 34 last summer. He averaged 24.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.1 steals while playing a league-high 37.8 minutes this season. It was the 11th straight year for DeRozan to average at least 20 points per game.

It's been a good postseason campaign for Conley, who's averaging 11.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 7.0 assists, and 1.1 steals in 31.8 minutes in the playoffs.

New York Knicks guard/forward Alec Burks finished as the team's top scorer with 20 points as Tom Thibodeau's troops struggled all game against Indiana on Sunday, losing 121-89. The Knicks were already down by 20 after the first quarter, and the bench guys, including Burks, ended up getting a good amount of minutes. Burks made good use of his 23 minutes on the floor, shooting 5-for-11 from the field and 8-for-10 at the line with two made triples. He was also active on the boards with five rebounds and dished out a pair of assists. Injuries have disrupted Thibodeau's plans in the postseason, with Burks making his first playoff appearance of the year in Game 2 against the Pacers. He's averaged a solid 17.0 points and 4.5 rebounds in 22 minutes across the last two games.

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Reggie Jackson (calf) is questionable for Friday's playoff meeting with the Timberwolves. The veteran has a calf contusion. However, with Jamal Murray (calf) also battling a calf issue of his own, Jackson should be out there for Game 3. With that said, he's averaged only four points in this series, so DFS managers should look for other options.

Los Angeles Clippers guard/forward Paul George looks set to enter unrestricted free agency this offseason. According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, George has received multiple contract offers below the max, which he will not accept. The nine-time All-Star has a $48.8 million player option for next season and can become a free agent if he can't agree on an extension with the Clippers before June 30. He is eligible to sign up to a four-year, $221 million contract. If the Clippers can't strike a deal with George, who's likely looking to get his final big contract after turning 34 at the start of May, he would instantly become one of the top available free agents on the market.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, there is mutual interest between the Orlando Magic and Klay Thompson. The five-time All-Star will become an unrestricted free agent, and Orlando can open up an excess of $60 million in cap space this offseason. Thompson was paid $43.2 million in 2023-24, and the Warriors reportedly offered him a two-year, $48 million extension before the season started. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has indicated that he wants Thompson back for the 2024-25 campaign, but a change of scenery might benefit him. The Magic seem like a great fit for Thompson, as the team badly needs to add some three-point shooting to the squad after ranking last in the league in threes made during the 2023-24 regular season.

Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (knee) won't play on Friday against the Mavericks. There isn't any new information concerning his ailment. However, the Clippers need to win the next two games to advance to the next round, although they will likely need to do it without Leonard in the lineup. As usual, Paul George and James Harden will do their best to lead the offense in Game 6. But Norman Powell, Russell Westbrook, and Terance Mann should continue to get more minutes and shot opportunities. With that said, nobody on the Clippers' roster has been consistent from a fantasy standpoint throughout this series.

Los Angeles Clippers point guard Russell Westbrook had another miserable outing against the Mavericks in Game 5 on Wednesday, posting six points on 2-for-11 shooting in a 123-93 loss. He missed all three shots from deep and didn't register any assists in 16 minutes of action while grabbing five rebounds. Westbrook performed well in the series opener, but he's had a horrible four-game spell since. The former MVP has been limited to 6-for-35 shooting, notching just 19 total points. His performances have been a major letdown for the Clippers, who face elimination in Game 6 on Friday.

Los Angeles Clippers guard James Harden finished with only seven points in Wednesday's beatdown by the Mavericks, shooting 2-for-12 from the field, including 1-for-7 from deep. The veteran star also had four rebounds and seven assists with four turnovers. Overall, Harden has played well in the series, and Game 4 was probably one of the best postseason performances of his career, but the Clippers came completely unstuck in front of their fans Wednesday night. Tyronn Lue's team now faces elimination in Game 6 on Friday. With Kawhi Leonard (knee) on the shelf, Harden and Paul George need to come up with something special for the Clippers to extend the series.
