Arnett Moultrie (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game against Miami.
Moultrie was riding the stationary bike as his teammates took post-shootaround shots at Friday's practice, so his status for Friday is up in the air at the moment. The second-year player has yet to play a minute this season, but could warrant some attention in deeper leagues once he is healthy and seeing minutes.

Arnett Moultrie (ankle) said he's "hopefully" going to make his season debut against the Bobcats on Wednesday.
He's been back at practice this month and there has been no word on how many minutes Moultrie will see. He made a splash in his last game of the 2012-13 season with 14 points and 12 boards, so he could find himself in the rotation. Obviously, this news should only be of interest to those in deep leagues.

Arnett Moultrie (ankle) was on the court at shootaround on Wednesday.
He has not been officially cleared to play, but went through his first full practice on Tuesday. Moultrie figures to get into the rotation after coach Brett Brown did have some praise for him over the summer and the Sixers are very shallow at power forward and center., so he'll be worth a look.

Moultrie has no clear return date but he hopes to play in January, which puts him on the radar in deep leagues. Arnett Moultrie (ankle) is still targeting a return next month.
He is traveling with the team and doesn't have a timetable to return. Moultrie serves as a much-needed big body and is an interesting player to think about in very deep league once he has a target date. The Sixers have been playing Spencer Hawes a lot of minutes and Moultire should at least have a spot in the rotation at the very least.

Mon Nov 18 201316:22Brown looking forward to getting Moutrie back
Coach Brett Brown said he's looking forward to getting Arnett Moultrie in the lineup.
Brown called Moultrie an "interesting prospect" for his energy. The new Sixers coach has always talked a lot about energy and that's part of the reason why Tony Wroten has succeeded in this young season. Moultrie won't be back until January, so there's little reason to stash him in almost any league yet. Although, the Sixers really do need another big man in their rotation.

Thu Oct 31 201317:33Sixers pick up option on Arnett Moultrie
The Sixers picked up their third-year option on Arnett Moultrie.
He had some momentum in the summer as the possible starting power forward, but he suffered a serious ankle sprain and is likely out until January. Spencer Hawes still only played 29 minutes in the opener, which is right at his average, so the Sixers are likely going to use Moultrie upon his return. He'll be worth a look in deep leagues in a couple months.

Fri Sep 27 201312:05Arnett Moultrie to be sidelined until January
Sixers big man Arnett Moultrie is expected to be sidelined until some time after the new year after undergoing surgery on his left ankle Thursday.
He had a serious chance to start at power forward this season and this just makes a bad Sixers team even worse. As we hinted at on Thursday, this means bigger and better things for Spencer Hawes and Thaddeus Young - both of whom are going to be undervalued going into drafts, while Lavoy Allen is now worth keeping a close eye on.

Head coach Brett Brown indicated that Sixers big men Arnett Moultrie, Lavoy Allen and Kwame Brown are all injured, although none of the injuries have been disclosed yet.
We're expecting an update soon, but if any of these injuries will limit them during the season, it's going to mean even bigger things for Spencer Hawes and Thaddeus Young. Those two, along with Evan Turner and rookie PG Michael Carter-Williams are all going to see as many minutes as they can handle for the Sixers this season.

Sat Jul 13 201310:22Arnett Moultrie must focus on conditioning
Arnett Moultrie averaged 16.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in the 76ers' final two Summer League games in Orlando, but his poor conditioning raised a red flag during the week.
"[Moultrie] has to have the pride that he won't let an inferior guy outplay him because of conditioning," said assistant coach Michael Curry. "He hasn't been in shape since we've had him. We've been trying to work him, but whenever we have time away, his conditioning drops off." His skill-set isn't in question and the Sixers' blown-up roster should result in plenty of minutes for young guys like Moultrie, so we'll be keeping a close eye on his conditioning throughout training camp and the preseason.

Thu Jul 4 201309:27Arnett Moultrie could play more this season
Arnett Moultrie could get more playing time with the Sixers.
Doug Collins didn't really give much run to Moultrie. The Sixers are rebuilding and even if rookie Nerlens Noel can make it back for the opener, they're not going to play him big minutes for much of the season. In fact, Noel may find himself in foul trouble as he learns that NBA players are more adept at getting to the line. Moultrie did get 18.0 minutes per game in the month of April, averaging 6.3 points and 4.8 boards on a sterling 71.1 perent from the field. To be clear, he's only an option in deep leagues.

Arnett Moultrie made 40 of his final 60 shots this season.
Moultrie spent most of his rookie year buried on the bench, but he flashed when given opportunities. Over the final five games, he averaged 9.4 points and 7.0 rebounds despite playing just 23.3 minutes a night. Moultrie has some deep sleeper appeal headed into next season as a new coach will give him a legit chance to beat out Lavoy Allen.
