G Isaiah Thomas (right hip injury) will travel outside of Boston to undergo further examination Monday to determine if surgery is needed.He will miss the remainder of the playoffs after aggravating a hip injury during Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals on Friday. Thomas initially injured his hip in the third quarter of a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on March 15, forcing the All-Star to miss the next two regular-season contests. The 28-year-old Thomas aggravated his specific injury -- officially labeled as a right feboral-acetabular impingement with labral tear -- during Game 6 of the second-round series against the Washington Wizards on May 12.

F Kevin Love added 28 points and 10 rebounds Sunday in a 111-108 loss to Boston in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals. It was his third straight double-double and fifth of the playoffs.

G Kyrie Irving led the Cavs with 29 points in Sunday's 111-108 loss to Boston in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals. His layup with 10.7 seconds remaining tied the game at 108-108.

F LeBronJames was ineffective Sunday, scoring just 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting with six turnovers in a 111-108 loss to the Boston Celtics in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals. He was held scoreless in the fourth quarter and was limited to three points in the second half. "I didn't have it," James said.

G Avery Bradley scored 20 points and hit the game-winning 3-pointer for the Boston Celtics with 0.1 seconds remaining in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals in Cleveland on Sunday. Bradley's shot left his hands with about 2.8 seconds remaining. It bounced off different parts of the rim four times, and it didn't roll into the basket until there was 0.1 seconds to go. "Thank God it's bouncing on the rim because that's taking time," Celtics coach Brad Stevens said. "If it goes in or doesn't go in, they have a timeout left. So when it bounced around, I was actually hoping it went in, obviously, but not completely disappointed that it was bouncing up there."

C Enes Kanter, who was detained at a Romanian airport on Saturday when he said his passport was revoked by his home country of Turkey because of his political views, is back in the United States after landing in New York on Sunday morning. His agent, Hilmi Cilnar, told ESPN that Kanter will be holding a news conference on Monday in New York. Kanter, a six-year NBA veteran, arrived in Bucharest, Romania, on Saturday from Jakarta, Indonesia, as part of his 2017 Enes Kanter Light Foundation global tour. Kanter, 25, was permitted to leave Romania later Saturday and then took a flight to London.
