Two of his rejections, which came in a bang-bang exchange with Pelicans forward Tony Allen in the second quarter, came while Durant was sliding around the floor on one shoe, having to toss his other shoe in the direction of the Pelicans' bench in order to play defense.

C Andre Drummond had nine points and 12 rebounds before fouling out with 9:15 remaining with his team trailing 98-83 Friday.

PG Jemery Lin underwent successful surgery to repair his ruptured right patella tendon on Friday.

G Derrick Rose is unlikely to play Saturday when the Cavaliers host the Magic. Rose twisted his ankle and left Friday's game after colliding with Greg Monroe in the second half. Head coach Tyronn Lue said Rose would be re-evaluated when the team returns to Cleveland.
