F LeBron James paced the Cavaliers with 29 points on 12-of-22 shooting and also had 10 rebounds and eight assists in their loss to the Pacers on Friday night that ended a 13-game win streak. "Streaks are meant to be broken, obviously," James said. "We knew this would be a tough game for us. They're playing extremely well at home. We gave ourselves a chance, and that's all you can ask for."

G Victor Oladipo couldn't point to any major reason for his second-half explosion. "I was just going out there being aggressive and trying to make plays," Oladipo said after scoring 25 of his 33 points in the final two quarters to help Indiana Pacers top the Cleveland Cavaliers 106-102, snapping their league-leading 13-game winning streak on Friday night. Oladipo scored 20 in the third quarter as the Pacers turned a six-point halftime deficit into a three-point lead (89-86) after three quarters. Oladipo made a career high-tying 6 of 13 treys. The only real blemish for Oladipo, who had eight rebounds and five assists, was that he went 5 of 10 from the foul line.

PG Rajon Rondo was given the night off for rest. In Rondo's 11 games as a starter, SG Jrue Holiday averaged 20 points per game.

PF Anthony Davis returned after missing three games with a strained left adductor (groin). The Pelicans were 2-1 without Davis, with C DeMarcus Cousins taking over the scoring spotlight. "Both of those guys have done that; they're great players and they're used to carrying their teams," New Orleans coach Alvin Gentry said. "DeMarcus has been really good. The rebounding part has been great. The ways he's facilitated and gotten other guys involved in the game is also very important."

Zach Randolph, 36, scored 35 points and made a career-high five 3-pointers, including back-to-back threes at the beginning of overtime to lift the Kings to a 116-109 victory over the Pelicans on Friday night at the Smoothie King Center. All Randolph could talk about was an impossible 3-pointer he made from the right corner to save a botched offensive possession in overtime and put the Kings up for good, 108-105. "That was an 'and-one' but they didn't call it," Randolph said, laughing. "I just seen the clock going down and I just tried to get my feet set. Jameer (Nelson) is kind of short, so I got a chance to shoot over him."

G Danny Green now has 500 steals and 401 blocks in his career and is one of only three players (along with LeBron James and Kevin Durant) with 500 steals, 400 blocks and 800 3-pointers since Green entered the NBA in 2009. Green didn't play in the second half because of tightness in his left groin after landing awkwardly during the second quarter.

G Julyan Stone was sent by the Hornets to Greensboro of the G League on Friday. Stone had appeared in only two games with the Hornets all season.

F Kenneth Faried scored a seaso-high 20 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked two shots to lead the Nuggets to a road win on Friday night. "It felt great to get one away from home tonight," he said. "I think we just said to ourselves, 'Let's do it like we do it at home.' It's just one win, but maybe it's the start of something good."

C Nerlens Noel underwent surgery on his left thumb and will be sidelined indefinitely. The operation was performed to repair a torn ligament in the thumb. Coach Rick Carlisle told the team website that Noel will be sidelined at least several weeks.

PG Derrick Rose divulged that he may need ankle surgery at the Cavaliers' mid-day shootaround prior to Friday night's road game against the Pacers. Rose recently rejoined the team after a two-week hiatus and was in good spirits. The thing bothering him most was his left ankle. "I got to go through rehab with trying to get my ankle right," Rose told reporters in his first media session since prior to leaving the club. "I got a bone spur that I didn't tell anybody, but I was just trying to process all that myself."
