Diaw scored 12 points (6-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt) with nine rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block in 37 minutes during Wednesday's Game 2 overtime victory against the Clippers.
Diaw played the third most minutes for the Spurs behind Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard. With Tony Parker banged up, look for the Spurs to keep using Diaw's flexibility and passing ability on offence.

Diaw posted 19 points, three rebounds, and three assists in 26 minutes of action Friday against the Mavericks.
Diaw is quietly averaging 14.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.2 three-pointers made per game over the last five. He could be considered a sneaky add in deep leagues, given the Spurs' propensity to sit starters down the stretch. Diaw has the potential to contribute points, rebounds, assists, steals, and threes, which makes him interesting to say the least.

Diaw posted 19 points, six rebounds, and one assist in 25 minutes of action Wednesday against the Thunder.
Diaw made the most of extended minutes in a blowout, and it'll be hard to keep up this kind of production. Still, he's averaging 14.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists over the last five games, which means he's worth owning in 16-man leagues or deeper.

Diaw scored 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt) with two rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in 24 minutes off the bench Monday.
Should he ever get more consistent playing time, Diaw could be a solid fantasy asset in deeper leagues, but current role on the Spurs makes him very difficult to roster.

Diaw had four points (2-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists and one block in 19 minutes on Wednesday.
Diaw started in place of Tiago Splitter (illness) but didn't garner many minutes. It's likely that Splitter will be back soon, which would probably send Diaw back to the bench. Owning any Spurs player can be frustrating when it comes to getting consistent minutes.

Diaw had eight points (4-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT), two rebounds, and three assists in 18 minutes off the bench Tuesday night against Washington.
Diaw started San Antonio's last game but was moved to the bench for Tuesday's contest. His numbers from Tuesday were roughly the same as what he has been posting as a bench player this season.
Tue Jan 13 201518:43Diaw will come off bench Tuesday
Diaw will come off the bench Tuesday, the Washington Post's Jorge Castillo reports.
Tiago Splitter gets the start against Washington's daunting front line, but Diaw could see his typical minutes in a reserve role.

Diaw (illness) played 25 minutes off the bench against the Pelicans Friday. He scored 10 points (5-8 FG) and added six rebounds and three assists.
Diaw missed Thursday's game due to the illness, but he was able to return for Friday. Diaw is an inconsistent producer from night to night, but Friday's performance represents an average night for Diaw. He holds some value in a lot of formats because of his ability to pass as a big man.
Fri Dec 26 201419:22Diaw (illness) will be active Friday
Diaw (illness) will be active Friday, the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Diaw was unable to play Thursday with an illness but appears ready to go against the Pelicans on Friday. He currently averages 27.8 minutes on the court and will likely play around that total Friday.
Thu Dec 25 201421:38Diaw sat out Thursday's game with illness
Diaw sat out Thursday's game with an illness, the Express-News reports.
Diaw had a 100-degree fever. The Spurs have a back-to-back game against the the Pelicans in New Orleans on Friday, and coach Gregg Popovich didn't want to burnout Diaw along with the rest of his veterans Thursday and have no one with the energy for Friday.

Diaw scored a season-high 23 points (9-11 FG, 2-3 3P, 3-8 FT) with six rebounds and three assists in 25 minutes off the bench Monday.
Ugly free throw shooting aside, it was a big effort for Diaw, but not one you can count on him repeating.

Diaw scored 17 points (5-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go along with 13 rebounds and five assists in 39 minutes during the Spurs' 117-116 3OT loss versus the Grizzlies on Wednesday.
Tiago Splitter (calf) played 24 minutes and picked up five fouls, and Diaw's stats were inflated by the epically long game. Still, while Tony Parker (hamstring) is out Diaw will likely continue posting solid assist totals. After he tallied a season-high nine assists during the Spurs' 108-95 loss versus the Blazers on Monday while several Spurs sat to rest on the second night of a back-to-back, the Spurs and Blazers are slated for a rematch on Friday with the Spurs looking to avoid their first three-game losing streak of the season.

Diaw drew the start for this game, as Tiago Splitter continues to sit out with a calf injury. He finished the game with 15 points (5-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) seven rebounds, three assists, and a block in 25 minutes.
Diaw's upside is limited, as his minutes will be more erratic once Splitter returns. However, he is a player who can provide out of position numbers, thus making him an interesting option for those in need of short term help, or even in daily leagues. Splitter still remains without a timetable, so continue to monitor his status before rolling out with Diaw.

Diaw drew the start and played a team-high 39 minutes against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday. He registered 19 points (8-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and one block with one turnover.
Diaw is an integral component to coach Gregg Popovich's rotation this season. He is an extremely good passer for a big man, and contributes in all areas of the box score. The Spurs' veteran stars will get games off throughout the regular season, which will lead to Diaw getting good run all year, even when they do play. He can help your fantasy team if you need help at the position. Just be aware that his upside is limited.
Mon Nov 10 201422:33Diaw will come off bench Monday against Clippers
Diaw will come off the bench Monday against the Clippers, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Diaw had been filling in for the injured Tiago Splitter (calf/back), but Matt Bonner will get the start instead. However, Diaw is averaging 30 minutes on the court and will likely still end up spending more time on the hardwood than Bonner, who is averaging 15 minutes, despite coming off the bench.

Diaw scored 11 points (4-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-5 FT), with five rebounds, four assists and one block in 34 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Hawks.
Diaw got some additional playing time as Tiago Splitter's (calf) had to leave after playing only 10 minutes. Diaw didn't light up the scoreboard, but he put up a solid stat line. His fantasy value is worth monitoring, but you'll also need to keep an eye on the updates to see the severity of Splitter's injury.
Sun Jul 6 201418:32Boris Diaw stays w/ Spurs for 3 years, $22.5M
The Spurs and Boris Diaw have agreed on a three-year, $22.5 million contract, with the third season partially guaranteed.
The 32-year-old forward just won his first NBA championship with San Antonio and there was never much doubt that he'd re-sign. He averaged 9.2 points, 0.8 threes, 4.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 26 minutes per game during the playoffs, all slightly above his regular-season averages. His production doesn't do fantasy owners much good in standard leagues, unfortunately, but he's tailor-made for the Spurs' selfless offense.

Tue Jul 1 201403:04Report: Blazers to pursue Boris Diaw
The Blazers will reportedly pursue unrestricted free agent Boris Diaw.
Diaw's French buddy Nic Batum could factor in here, and the Blazers could have certainly used him with little depth in their frontcourt this past year. Talks are likely in the exploratory stage.

Fri Jun 20 201409:50Kawhi Leonard max extension would be $79 mil
Kawhi Leonard is eligible for an extension on July 1 and the most the Spurs could offer him would be a five-year, $79 million deal.
He made just $3.1 million last year and severely outplayed that contract on his way to the Finals MVP. Leonard is going to be a bigger part of the offense next season and the Spurs may want to give him his long-term deal now or else he'd become a restricted free agent in the summer of 2015.

Tue Jun 17 201418:53Boris Diaw will play for France in World Cup
Boris Diaw will play for France's national team during the FIBA World Cup this summer.
Diaw is coming off a long year of basketball, having won the 2013 EuroBasket competition last summer before a long march to the Finals with San Antonio. He said he'll take "a couple of days to relax" before getting back out on the court, and his excellent play this year should set him up for a nice payday as an unrestricted free agent.
