Sun Nov 16 201416:07Robinson will likely miss Monday's game against Cleveland
Robinson will likely miss Monday's game against Cleveland, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.
Robinson has yet to be cleared to play back-to-backs, so since he played Monday, his absence will be expected on Tuesday. The team appears to be taking extra precautions with Robinson while he comes back from his ACL tear from last season. It's unclear how long this policy will last, but until then Robinson will continue to be held out every other back-to-back game.
Wed Nov 12 201414:09Robinson will no longer be on minutes limit
Robinson will no longer be on a minutes limit, the Denver Post's Chris Dempsey reports.
It is not quite clear what his minutes restriction was, as he had played 26 minutes already in a game this year. However, there were three games where he failed to eclipse 15 minutes, so hopefully now he will start to see closer to 20-25 minutes per game.
Fri Nov 7 201422:02Robinson will start at point guard Friday
Robinson will start at point guard Friday, the Denver Post's Chris Dempsey reports.
Ty Lawson was a late scratch with an ankle injury, making Robinson a solid option in daily leagues. Lawson is day-to-day, so Robinson's run as the starter will likely be short lived.

Robinson is averaging just 13.3 minutes on the court over Denver's first four games of the season.
Robinson has proven that he can put up solid numbers when given enough time on the court, but that's not currently happening in Denver which may stem from the fact that he's coming off a major knee injury from last season. Even so, his role off the bench behind Ty Lawson and Randy Foye isn't allowing for significant time on the court and the 30-year-old won't have much to offer unless this dynamic changes.

Robinson will not play in Thursday's preseason game against the Warriors, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.
Robinson, who returned to action last Friday, will get the night off Thursday, as the team continues to be cautious in bringing him back from a torn ACL suffered in January.

Robinson (knee) will play in Friday's preseason game and will be on a 15-minute limit, the Denver Post's Chris Dempsey reports.
After he sat out Wednesday's game, the expectation was that he would take the floor Friday, and that will indeed be the case, albeit on a minutes cap. He figures to see 15-25 minutes off the bench as instant offense at point guard.
Tue Oct 7 201417:48Robinson (knee) won't play in Nuggets' preseason game Wednesday
Robinson (knee) won't play in the Nuggets' preseason game Wednesday, but he is expected to play in the team's third exhibition Friday in Phoenix, the Denver Post's Chris Dempsey reports.
It's good to hear he's close to playing in a preseason game, as he hadn't been cleared for 5-on-5 last week. He'll work as a backup point guard option off the bench this season.
Tue Sep 30 201412:10Robinson (knee) yet to be cleared for 5-on-5 action
Robinson (knee) is yet to be cleared for 5-on-5 action, the Denver Post reports.
Robinson, who tore his ACL in January, reported to camp but will be brought along slowly as he continues to rehab his knee. He's yet to be cleared for 5-on-5 drills, but the expectation is that will come within the next few weeks. Depending upon how slowly the team works him back into form, Robinson could miss the start of the regular season, though a prolonged absence is not expected.
Mon Jun 23 201411:16Nuggets make Robinson option official
The Nuggets announced that Nate Robinson has exercised his player option for next season.
He was having a solid season with the Nuggets last year, but his ACL tear really forced his hand to not hit free agency. Robinson had surgery back on Jan. 31, so he will at least have an outside chance of being ready for the 2014 season opener. Of course, fantasy owners shouldn't be targeting him since it will likely take some time before he's 100 percent.

Sun Jun 22 201417:28Nate Robinson to pick up $2.1 million option
Nate Robinson will exercise his $2.1 million player option to stay with the Nuggets next season.
The 30-year-old guard is recovering from ACL surgery but he said he will "for sure" be ready for training camp, and he'll have plenty of motivation in a contract year. He's recently been promoting his autobiography, Heart Over Height, an appropriate title for the 5'9" three-time NBA Slam Dunk champion.

Thu Mar 6 201411:04Nate Robinson plans to return to Nuggets
Nate Robinson (ACL surgery) is planning on returning to the Nuggets for the 2014-15 season.
Robinson has a $2.1 million player option that he will have to exercise in order to return to the Nuggets and it sounds as if he's planning on doing so. When asked if he'd be ready for training camp, Robinson answered, "Yeah, for sure." While Robinson could be a decent option in deeper leagues next season, he won't be helping any fantasy squads this season.

Fri Jan 31 201421:35Nate Robinson (torn ACL) has surgery Friday
Nate Robinson had surgery on Friday evening to repair a torn left ACL.
The injury came on Wednesday and Robinson jogged back to the locker room. The Nuggets said Nate had an ACL sprain on Thursday, so technically their diagnosis is correct since a complete tear is considered a Grade III sprain. Robinson will be out for the rest of the season and his start to the 2014-15 season could be in jeopardy. Evan Fournier should pick up the majority of his 19.4 minutes per game and is worth a long look in standard leagues.

Thu Jan 30 201414:38Nate Robinson diagnosed w/ sprained ACL
Nate Robinson has been diagnosed with a sprained ACL and will undergo further tests on Friday to determine a plan for his rehabilitation.
Nate could be facing a long absence, leaving the Nuggets' backcourt particularly short-handed with Ty Lawson (rotator cuff) already day-to-day. Randy Foye scored 33 points in 40 minutes on Wednesday, while Evan Fournier had 19 points, five boards, six assists and three steals in 38 minutes off the bench, and both guys are worth a long look in the wake of NateRob's diagnosis.

Wed Jan 29 201421:34Nate Robinson suffers left knee injury
Nate Robinson suffered a left knee strain in the first quarter of Wednesday's game against the Bobcats and will not return.
He jogged back to the locker room under his own power and it's a little surprising he will not return to the game. The team will give him an MRI on Thursday and his owners will want to check back for an update. Robinson finished with no points in six minutes. Evan Fournier will run the point for the Nuggets tonight.

Mon Jan 27 201400:55Nate Robinson leads Denver w/ eight dimes
Nate Robinson scored 12 points, stole the ball twice and handed out a team-high eight assists with just one turnover on Sunday.
His efficient performance in 24 minutes off the bench helped earn Denver their second straight victory, as he torched the Kings' reserve guards and made it look easy. A two-game streak is modest, to be sure, but it's only the Nuggets' fourth winning streak of the season.

Sun Jan 26 201400:40Nate Robinson scores 13 points in 1st half
Nate Robinson started hot with 13 minutes in the first half of Saturday's win over the Pacers, finishing with 15 points, three assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in 19 minutes.
He's been a potent scorer for much of the season and his hot again over his last five outings. In that stretch, Robinson averaged 16.0 points, 1.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.4 triples on a stellar 55.6 percent from the floor in 21.4 minutes per game. He could disappear as fast as he's picked it up, but it's not a bad idea to ride Nate while he's in one of his patented grooves.

Mon Jan 20 201409:27Changes coming for Nuggets' rotation?
Nuggets coach Brian Shaw is unhappy with his team's effort and execution, which may prompt him to shuffle his rotation.
It doesn't sound as though any starting jobs are at risk but we'll keep an eye on the Nuggets when they return to action on Thursday. "As we go along I might have to look at changes ... in terms of getting guys in and out who are paying more attention to detail on the defensive end in particular," Shaw said. "Because right now that's what hurting our team the most."

Sat Jan 18 201401:01Nate Robinson scores 19 points vs. Cavs
Nate Robinson was hot from the floor on Friday vs. the Cavs, shooting 8-of-11 from the field for 19 points with one board, two assists, one steal and three 3-pointers.
After falling off to start the year, Nate now has a combined 43 points over his last two games. He's done this just in 22.0 minutes per game and shooting 17-of-23 from the field had a lot to do with it. It's hard to trust him in most leagues with such limited playing time and owners in standard leagues can probably do better.

Thu Jan 16 201403:10Nate Robinson scores 24 in win over GSW
Nate Robinson caught fire and hit 9-of-12 shots and three 3-pointers on his way to 24 points, four rebounds, three assists and a steal in just 23 minutes off the Nuggets bench Wednesday.
Lil' Him scored 12 straight points at one point in the fourth quarter and willed the Nuggets to this win. He had scored a grand total of 14 points over his previous three games, so there's no reason to think tonight's amazing performance will become a regular occurrence. The 24 points tied his season high, which came in Game 2 back on Nov. 1.
