Wed Mar 19 201401:24Jeff Adrien quiet in 20 minutes Tuesday
Jeff Adrien played 20 minutes off the bench and had seven points, five rebounds, a steal and a block in an overtime loss to the Blazers on Tuesday.
His streak of scoring in double digits was snapped at four games, thanks to the play and minutes of Zaza Pachulia tonight. Adrien will have some big games down the stretch, but isn't going to be reliable as long as he's coming off the bench behind Pachulia and Ersan Ilyasova. However, he might be a decent play on nights when Ilyasova is resting.

Sun Mar 16 201415:47Jeff Adrien plays 14 energetic minutes
Jeff Adrien energized the Bucks in his 14 minutes off the bench on Sunday vs. the Bobcats with 12 points, four boards, one assist and one steal.
He is unlike any player on the team with how he battles under the boards, but coach Larry Drew doesn't seem to want to unleash Adrien. Despite the nice line, only getting 14 minutes while Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) didn't play is trouble for his fantasy value. After the Bucks just played a five-game week, Adrien loses some appeal in most formats the rest of the way.

Thu Mar 13 201422:42jeff Adrien scores 12 points vs. Hawks
Jeff Adrien scored 12 points in 18 minutes against the Hawks on Thursday with six boards, two steals and one block.
He played just 20 minutes without Ersan Ilyasova on Tuesday and was in that neighborhood tonight. Adrien has been very effective in his time with the Bucks, averaging 8.4 points, 7.9 boards, 0.9 blocks and 0.5 steals in 19.7 minutes in his previous 10 games. It's fair to assume he'll be close to that the rest of the way.

Wed Mar 12 201400:18Jeff Adrien bounces back in loss to Wolves
Jeff Adrien, who had a whopping one rebound in five minutes on Monday, bounced back with 12 points, seven rebounds and two blocks on 5-of-6 shooting in 20 minutes on Tuesday.
Adrien's owners who took a flier on him with five games this week were pulling their hair out after Monday's disaster, but an ankle injury to Ersan Ilyasova (DNP) helped bring everyone back off the ledge. It could have been a different story had Ilyasova played tonight, but the bottom line is that Adrien put up a decent line. And if Ilyasova misses more games, and even if he doesn't, it's still possible the decision to use Adrien this week was the right one. Stay tuned.

Tue Mar 11 201401:21Adrien plays five minutes after Drew's praise
Jeff Adrien played five minutes on Monday after getting singled out by Larry Drew as a guy that has earned consistent minutes going forward throughout the last week.
Somewhere, Keith Smart stopped rearranging his sock drawer for reasons unbeknownst to him at the time. It's a five-game week for Adrien but this undoubtedly gives him one more shot on Tuesday against the Wolves before his remaining owners jump ship. Zaza Pachulia did the trick for owners banking on the five-gamer with four points, five boards, one steal and one block in 17 minutes.

Sat Mar 8 201423:54Jeff Adrien still plays well on Saturday
Jeff Adrien was solid against the Wizards on Saturday with eight points, eight boards and one block in 22 minutes.
He was outstanding on Friday with a 20-10 line against the Pelicans, but he was still able to contribute in tonight's game even with Ersan Ilyasova back from his one-game suspension. Adrien has actually become a solid offensive weapon and he's athletic enough to play in up-tempo games, so he's not just a rebounding guy. He's worth a look in deeper leagues while the Bucks are at full strength.

Sat Mar 8 201400:19Yo Adrien: 20 and 10 for the Bucks PF
Jeff Adrien scored 20 points on 5-of-8 shooting (10-of-11 FTs) with 10 rebounds, one steal and three blocks in 30 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Adrien does this damage with Ersan Ilyasova out and with 15 points on Wednesday he has gone from a one-trick rebounder to a guy putting up numbers across the board. Larry Drew loves him and John Henson has provided tepid results lately, so it's possible that he can keep it up but there will be some hurdles to clear. With five games should give him a hard look in 12-14 team leagues, especially if you need a big.

Thu Mar 6 201401:50Jeff Adrien scores 15 points off the bench
Jeff Adrien scored a career-high 15 points against the Kings on Wednesday with five boards, one assist and one steal in 22 minutes.
He had double-digit rebounds in four of his previous five games with the Bucks and coach Larry Drew continues to show confidence in his new big man. Adrien's toughness inside has been a big thing missing from the Bucks, so he seems like he'll be able to keep his minutes in the 20s for a while. The former Bobcat is worth a look in some deeper formats.

Mon Mar 3 201423:29Adrien goes for eight and 11 in blowout win
Jeff Adrien scored eight points on 3-of-8 shooting with 11 rebounds, one steal and one block in 20 minutes off the bench on Monday against the Jazz.
Larry Drew loves this guy but unfortunately he's not doing enough besides rebounding to garner any fantasy value. He has double-digit rebounds in four of five games, but is still outside the top-200 over the last week or so with not much else to go on.

Mon Feb 24 201422:19Larry Drew likes him some Jeff Adrien
Larry Drew spoke highly about Jeff Adrien after Monday's blowout win over the Sixers, as Adrien scored six points on 3-of-8 shooting with 10 rebounds, one steal and one block in 24 minutes off the bench.
"He brings a physical presence and we need that," said Drew, and this reeks of a coach trying to mix and match his personnel amidst a disjointed, losing season. Even if Adrien moves into some sort of semi-regular role it's hard to imagine him holding consistent value, let alone consistent standard league value.

Sat Feb 22 201423:21Jeff Adrien grabs 11 boards in debut
Jeff Adrien grabbed 11 boards against the Pacers in his Milwaukee debut on Saturday with six points and three assists in 18 minutes.
He was a beast on the offensive glass with five boards on that end and gave the Bucks a nice interior presence. Adrien grabbing double-digit boards is far from surprising and it's possible he gets better in the future. That said, it's almost too frustrating owning most Bucks, so he's only worth a look in extremely deep leagues.

Sat Feb 22 201419:02Jeff Adrien getting some playing time
Jeff Adrien will play against the Pacers on Saturday.
He did a solid job as a backup for the Bobcats back when Al Jefferson needed time for his ankle to heal, so he's shown he's at least capable. The Bucks have very little frontcourt depth and Adrien has a good shot at getting in the rotation. He's only on the radar in deep leagues for now.

Thu Feb 20 201412:53Jeff Adrien traded to Bucks
Jeff Adrien has been traded to the Bucks.
He has been out of the rotation basically since Al Jefferson has been healthy, so a change of scenery can help him. Coach Larry Drew is arguably the most unpredictable coach in the NBA when it comes to his rotations, but Adrien is still only a flier in very deep leagues.

Thu Nov 28 201310:16Jeff Adrien carving out role with Bobcats
Jeff Adrien is carving out a defensive role for himself in the Bobcats rotation.
Adrien is only averaging 14.4 minutes a game this season, but has carved out a role as the Bobcats best defensive big man. "He's our best post defender, and by quite a bit," coach Steve Clifford said of the fourth-year forward. Adrien isn't much of a fantasy option with Al Jefferson healthy again, but he does have two 10 rebound games in his past five contests so he could provide some value in deeper leagues if Jefferson misses anymore time.

Wed Nov 20 201322:26Jeff Adrien plays well for Bobcats
Jeff Adrien had seven points, 10 rebounds and a block on 2-of-5 shooting in 25 minutes off the Bobcats bench in Wednesday's win over the Nets.
It was Jeff Taylor who came in hot for the Cats, but Adrien got it done tonight, while Taylor was scoreless in 17 minutes. Neither of these players is a must-own at this point, but both are worth keeping an eye on going forward. And if we ever see Al Jefferson (ankle) play basketball again, both of them will probably quickly return to obscurity. And if you saw the Bobcats at 6-6 and the Nets at 3-8 when the season started, you should probably play the lottery.

Mon Jan 28 201323:24Jeff Adrien has a career night Monday
Jeff Adrien set a career high with 14 points and matched his best total with 10 boards in Monday's loss to Chicago, adding two blocks in 35 minutes.
He hasn't done much in his last 12 games in just 15.8 minutes, so we'll need to see this again to suggest picking him up. For what it's worth, Adrien has seen more minutes against teams that have a slower pace, but only owners in extremely deep leagues should even consider him in some matchups.

Mon Dec 31 201217:49Jeff Adrien posts career-highs w/ MKG out
Jeff Adrien tied his career-high with 10 rebounds and set a career-high with three blocks off the Bobcats' bench on Monday, while scoring nine points in 23 minutes.
Adrien took advantage of Michael Kidd-Gilchrists's absence due to an eye injury, but he's not relevant outside of the deepest leagues. In his three-year career, the Bobcats' SF has per-36-minute averages of 11.1 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.5 steals, 1.1 blocks, and a ridiculous 5.7 fouls. Enough said.

Sun Dec 9 201215:06Bobcats sign Jeff Adrien, waive Higgins
The Bobcats signed F Jeff Adrien and waived Cory Higgins on Sunday.
Adrien just missed making the team back in October. He comes from the D-League Rio Grande Valley Vipers and has no fantasy value.

Wed Sep 19 201216:13Bobcats expected to invite Adrien to camp
The Bobcats are expected to bring F Jeff Adrien, G Paris Horne, F Josh Owens and F DaJuan Summers to their training camp roster.
The plan is to have 17 guys in camp, with only 13 eligible to be on the opening-night roster. Of this list, Summers probably stands the best chance at making the club, but the reality is that all four players are long shots to do so.
