Cole started for Eric Gordon and provided 12 points (4-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and four assists in 26 minutes before fouling out in the loss to the Clippers on Sunday.
Cole has provided 13.3 points, 2.0 3-pointers, and 4.0 assists in his last three games. He has also had to guard Eric Bledsoe, Stephen Curry, and Chris Paul in those games. Cole makes for a decent short-term add while Tyreke Evans (ankle) is out.

Cole will start in Sunday's game against the Clippers, broadcaster Sean Kelley reports.
Normal starter Tyreke Evans (ankle) will not play Sunday so Cole should benefit from added minutes on the court. It's unclear how long Evans will be sidelined, but it would be surprising if he was held off the court past Sunday's game.

Cole will head back to the bench for Sunday's game against the Nuggets.
Cole saw a spot start in Wednesday's game against the Nets with the absence of Tyreke Evans (ankle), but Evans will return to the starting lineup which demotes Cole back to the bench. As a result, Cole's minutes will likely take a hit moving forward.

Cole scored 16 points (6-11 FG, 4-6 3Pt) and registered five rebounds, four assists and three steals in Tuesday's win over the Nets.
With Tyreke Evans (ankle) sidelined, Cole moved into the starting lineup and turned in an impressive performance. He's been solid in the month of March since coming over from Miami, averaging 10.9 points and 3.4 assists while shooting 35 percent from three. If Evans misses any more time, look for Cole to remain in the starting lineup.

Cole scored 11 points (3-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT) with four assists, two rebounds and a steal in 24 minutes off the bench Monday.
Tyreke Evans limped off the court in the second half, and if the injury proves to be serious Cole would likely be in line for a much bigger role given the Pelicans' lack of other options at point guard right now.

Cole scored a team-high 19 points (8-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT) with three assists and a block in 36 minutes off the bench Monday.
This was his best scoring night since joining the Pelicans, although Cole has scored in double digits in five of his six games with New Orleans. In deep fantasy leagues, his apparently stable bench role while Jrue Holiday (leg) is sidelined could make him worth a roster spot.

Cole missed all 10 of the attempted he shot Friday, finishing the loss to the Pelicans with just three points, two rebounds and four assists in 23 minutes.
This was only Cole's fifth game with the Thunder, so he still has time to learn the offense or system. Cole had scored double-digit points in three straight games heading into Friday, but is shooting 49.2 percent this month and averages 4.7 assists per game.

Cole scored 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt), adding in six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 30 minutes off the bench in his Pelicans debut Saturday.
Cole was the first guard off the bench behind Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans. It will be interesting to see how Cole's role develops going forward, as the Pelicans have been decimated by injuries recently, adding Anthony Davis (shoulder) and Ryan Anderson (knee) to that list on Saturday. Look for Cole to make a significant contribution in the Pelicans rotation for the short-term.
Sat Feb 21 201518:46Cole will be active for Saturday's contest at Miami
Cole will be active for Saturday's contest at Miami.
Cole should make an appearance in his first game following Thursday's trade from Miami, especially with Jrue Holiday's continued absence due to a stress reaction in his lower right leg. However, Cole is unlikely to match the 26 minutes per game he garnered in six February tilts prior to the break due to the presence of Tyreke Evans at the point.
Fri Feb 20 201518:41Cole will not play in Friday's game against Magic
Cole will not play in Friday's game against the Magic, the Times-Picayune reports.
The newly acquired Cole has yet to pass through the red tape allowing him to take the court for New Orleans. However, he has a shot to make his debut against his former team, the Heat, on Saturday.
Thu Feb 19 201515:52Cole dealt to Pelicans on Thursday
Cole was dealt to the Pelicans on Thursday, Brian Windhorst of ESPN reports.
Details surrounding the deal continue to emerge, but Cole will head to New Orleans a Goran Dragic comes to Miami as the obvious starter. With Jrue Holiday (leg) out indefinitely, Cole should have a chance to see major minutes, though it's unclear whether he'll unseat Tyreke Evans, who has been playing out of position s the starting point guard since Holiday went down.

Cole scored 15 points (5-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-6 FT) with three rebounds and three assists in 26 minutes in the loss to Minnesota on Wednesday. He an opportunity to win the game, but missed an open 3-pointer with two seconds left.
Cole had not scored in double digits since Dec. 21 and only averaged 4.0 points in January. Perhaps his performance against the Timberwolves will get him going, but he is probably best left only until Cole shows some consistency.

Cole may start Friday's game against the Mavericks in place of Dwyane Wade (hamstring), Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
When Wade left Tuesday's game against the Bucks, it was Cole, rather than Shabazz Napier, who picked up most of the minutes. Both players may benefit from added playing time, and with Luol Deng (calf) also sidelined, the Heat will need contributions from Danny Granger and James Ennis.

Cole played 25 minutes Tuesday in relief of Dwyane Wade, who left the game early after straining his hamstring, but went just 3-for-7 from the floor for seven points.
Cole and Mario Chalmers got the majority of the work in the backcourt with Wade out. Even if Wade misses some time and Cole starts, he's not a great option. In 23 starts this season, Cole averaged 7.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

Cole came off the bench while Shabazz Napier started Friday, and was held scoreless (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) in 18 minutes of action, but did have four assists.
The rookie Napier also had a poor shooting night, but was more effective all-around than Cole. Cole is averaging a career-high 25.5 minutes this season, but still is shooting just 39.1 percent from the floor and is 69th among all point guards this season in free-throw shooting.

Cole might be stuck in a backup role after Shabazz Napier filled in at point guard with Dwyane Wade (hamstring) out Wednesday. Mario Chalmers shifted up to shooting guard. If Cole is still owned in any standard leagues, he should be dropped.
Wed Jan 14 201522:41Cole seen limping prior to Wednesday's game
Cole was seen limping prior to Wednesday's game, the Miami Herald reports.
Cole is coming off the bench despite Dwyane Wade (hamstring) being out Wednesday. Shabazz Napier was given the start instead of Cole, but it's unclear if the change was made because the team wants to give Napier more minutes or if it's because Cole is limited by an injury.

Cole scored five points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt), backed up by six assists, five rebounds, and three steals in 30 minutes on Sunday.
Cole played considerably more minutes than Mario Chalmers in this one and had a more well-rounded game as a result. It would be a huge advantage if the Heat stuck with one guy, however Coach Spoelstra plays the matchups and goes with the hot hand so it's hard to tell.
