Hummel (illness) missed practice Tuesday after sitting out Monday's game against the Nuggets, FOX Sports North reports.
Chase Budinger and head coach Flip Saunders were all ill for the Timberwolves, but Budinger and Saunders returned Tuesday. Hummel should be considered questionable for Wednesday's game. Even if he goes, he's not much of a fantasy option, considering he's averaging just 3.3 assists and 1.9 rebounds this season.

Hummel is questionable for Monday's game against Denver with an illness, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
He wasn't at Monday's shootaround, so he'll be a game-time decision. Hummel may not play even if healthy as he's mostly getting time in blowouts.

Hummel did not play in Friday's loss to Houston due to a coach's decision.
Hummel scored a season-high 13 points Monday, but that was only in a blowout loss. His playing time as one of the last options on the bench is too unreliable for most fantasy leagues.

Hummel scored 13 points in 11 minutes with two rebounds in Tuesday's loss to the Clippers.
Hummel had a season high in points and shot attempts (8). He hasn't played significantly more minutes the past two weeks despite several injuries ahead of him on the depth chart, so we wouldn't expect this kind of production to continue.

Hummel scored two points with five rebounds in 11 minutes in Saturday's loss to Chicago.
It was Hummel's first appearance this season and he got extended playing time as the second unit he was playing with got hot in a stretch in the second half. However, he's likely not going to get off the bench most nights.

Hummel did not play in Wednesday's loss at Memphis due to a coach's decision.
Hummel is likely going to be buried on the bench most of the season unless Minnesota suffers several injuries.
Mon Jul 21 201422:04Wolves sign Robbie Hummel on a one-year deal
Robbie Hummel re-signed with the Wolves on a one-year deal.
The Wolves didn't extend him to a qualifying offer last month, but he still received a guaranteed contract at a shade under $1 million. Hummel still hasn't been able to get his career off the ground since suffering two ACL tears at Purdue and he is unlikely to be in the rotation this season.

Tue Apr 8 201422:53Robbie Hummel plays game-high 35 minutes
Robbie Hummel joined the Wolves' starting lineup on Tuesday and played a game-high 35 minutes, scoring nine points with one 3-pointer, seven rebounds, one steal and one turnover.
The 25-year-old rookie filled in nicely with Chase Budinger (ankle) and Shabazz Muhammad (knee) unavailable, making 4-of-10 field goals in just his second start of the season. Both Budinger and Muhammad could miss the Wolves' final five games, so Hummel is worth a look as a cheap source of 3-pointers in roto leagues.

Sat Apr 5 201421:40Robbie Hummel gets 33 minutes vs. Magic
Robbie Hummel stepped up against the Magic on Saturday with 12 points, six boards, two assists, one steal and one turnover in 33 minutes.
He started the second half in place of Chase Budinger (ankle) tonight. Hummel was sprung into action because Kevin Martin (foot) was also out and the Wolves were just running out of bodies. His upside isn't really high enough to be picked up in even 14- and 16-team leagues, but he could be a plug-and-play on Tuesday vs. the Spurs.

Sat Feb 8 201423:53Robbie Hummel plays five minutes
Robbie Hummel played five minutes against the Blazers on Saturday and did not score.
He's only played in one game since Jan. 7 and will be on the active roster now that Kevin Martin (thumb) is out. Hummel still has no fantasy value in almost any league.

Thu Dec 12 201301:07Robbie Hummel scores career-high 10 points
Robbie Hummel scored a career-high 10 points against the Sixers on Wednesday with three boards, one steal and two 3-pointers in 12 minutes.
It was great to see from a Hummel after the tough road he's had in his career. He tore his ACL twice at Purdue and had to play overseas before this year. Hummel doesn't have much fantasy value and the eventual return of Chase Budinger (knee) would probably bump him from the rotation.

Wed Nov 20 201310:08Robbie Hummel earning reliable 20+ minutes
Robbie Hummel scored seven points and grabbed six rebounds in 22 minutes during Tuesday's loss to the Wizards.
The Purdue product played in Spain last season but has quickly emerged as a trusted part of Rick Adelman's tight rotation, averaging 21 minutes in the past four games. It sounds like he'll maintain the role until Chase Budinger (knee) is ready to return. "We're just looking for [Hummel] to come in and give us some stability," said Adelman. "He really knows how to play."

Thu Nov 14 201301:16Robbie Hummel plays 28 minutes in start
Robbie Hummel played 28 minutes in the first start of his NBA career, shooting 4-of-6 from the field for 10 points with four boards, one assist and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes.
It must have been a great feeling for Hummel with all he's been through. He suffered two ACL tears in college and had to start his career overseas. Still, he's not likely to stick in the starting lineup once Kevin Martin comes back from his illness.

Sat Oct 26 201319:45Update: Hummel, Price make Wolves roster
Updating a previous report, Robbie Hummel and A.J. Price will remain on the Wolves' active roster for the regular season.
We erroneously reported that Hummel and Price had been waived, but Rick Adelman has been pleased enough with both guys to keep them on Minnesota's 15-man roster. Hummel will provide depth at SF while Chase Budinger recovers from knee surgery, but he's not a substantial fantasy option.

Sat Oct 26 201316:27Wolves waive Hummel, Price, Johnson
Timberwolves waive F Robbie Hummel, G A.J. Price and F Chris Johnson.
Hummel played well but couldn't stick, while Johnson actually had a guaranteed salary. Letting him go and eating the money will allow the Wolves the flexibility of having two roster spots available.

Wed Oct 23 201318:19Robbie Hummel starting at small forward Wed.
Robbie Hummmel will start at small forward for the Wolves against the Sixers on Wednesday.
The Wolves still don't have their small forward spot figured out with Chase Budinger rehabbing from knee surgery. Hummel has played just 31 minutes this preseason, shooting 6-of-14 from the field with two 3-pointers. He has his work cut out for him to get consistent minutes during the season. It's worth noting that coach Rick Adelman said he'll play his starters less tonight, and more on Thursday.

Thu Sep 26 201312:49Wolves sign second-round pick Hummell
The Wolves signed 2012 second-round pick forward Robbie Hummell on Thursday.
No word on the deal or if he'll make the final roster, but he will definitely be in training camp with the Wolves, and not playing in Europe any time soon.

Thu Jul 18 201322:35Robbie Hummel could end up in Italy
If Robbie Hummel doesn't make the Timberwolves, Pallacanestro Cant— may try to sign him.
He didn't help himself on Thursday, shooting 2-of-7 from the field for six points with five boards, two assists and three turnovers in 26 minutes. Hummmel has been fairly quiet for most of the summer league and it's looking unlikely he'll be able to make the team.
