Mon Dec 8 201412:47Adams recalled from D-League on Monday
Adams was recalled from the D-League on Monday, NBA.com reports.
The rookie out of UCLA began his second assignment of the season with the Iowa Energy on Nov. 25 and is averaging 14.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting 42.2 percent from the floor in four D-League contests. The 6-5 guard has only played in four games for the Grizzlies, however, and isn't likely to crack the rotation as a rookie.

Adams was assigned to the Iowa Energy of the D-League on Tuesday, NBA.com reports.
Adams will return to Iowa for the second time this season, after he put up 20 points, seven rebounds and an assists in 31 minutes for the Energy on Nov. 8. The rookie out of UCLA has been buried on Dave Joerger's bench thus far, appearing in only four games for the Grizzlies.

Adams posted one point (0-2 FG, 1-2 FT), one assist and one steal in 10 minutes during the Grizzlies' 119-93 win versus the Rockets on Monday.
With the Grizzlies cruising to a blowout win Adams received some decent playing time. Still, given the team's depth on the wing it seems unlikely Adams will hold much value during his rookie year.
Wed Nov 12 201409:20Adams will not be playing many
Adams will not be playing many, if any minutes for the Grizzlies anytime soon, Geoff Calkins of The Commercial Appeal reports.
Coach Dave Joerger said that rookies Adams and Jarnell Stokes need time to "marinate," and whether this means they'll be heading back down to the D-League frequently to get game action or not, one thing is clear: Joerger has faith in the veterans on his bench. Also, given that Adams struggled with turnovers during the summer league and in his D-League debut, there's sufficient evidence that says he may not be quite ready to make a positive contribution just yet. Until he starts to see at least a little bit of action he can safely be avoided in all formats except keeper leagues.

Adams was recalled from Iowa of the D-League on Monday.
Adams was assigned to Iowa to see some playing time, but he will be back with Memphis for their next game Tuesday. Adams will continue playing a bit role for the Grizzlies, so don't be surprised to see him shuffle back and forth between Memphis and Iowa.
Sun Nov 9 201409:37Adams recorded 20 points (6-14 FG
Adams recorded 20 points (6-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 7-9 FT), seven rebounds and one assist in 31 minutes during the Energy's 103-81 loss versus the Skyforce on Saturday, and is set to rejoin the Grizzlies on Sunday, Chip Williams reports.
He did commit five turnovers, but overall it was a solid showing from the rookie. It's unclear whether the team plans on having him play a lot of D-League games this season, but given the Grizzlies lack of bench scoring (no reserve has scored double digits in a game thus far), it's possible Adams will soon receive an opportunity to prove he belongs in the regular rotation. However, until that happens he can be safely avoided in all formats besides keeper leagues.

Adams has been assigned to the Iowa Energy of the D-League.
Adams was barely seeing any court time with Memphis, so this is the best course of action for his development.

Adams has come onto the court for just one minute of action this season.
The rookie from UCLA is being brought along slowly and won't likely have a significant role in the rotation this year. Rather, the 20-year-old is more of a long-term option in keeper leagues.
Tue Oct 21 201417:17Adams will begin season in reserve role
Adams will begin the season in a reserve role, 92.9 ESPN in Memphis reports.
Coach Dave Joerger expressed optimism regarding the improvements made by Adams and fellow rookie Jarnell Stokes, but indicated that for them, right now practices are games, and that their respective roles are to continue improving and pushing their teammates during practices. After an impressive summer league showing, he has struggled with his shot in the preseason, and while it's possible Adams will eventually earn a regular spot in the rotation this season, it appears that won't be happening right away barring a Grizzlies trade or an injury to one of the veteran shooting guards ahead of him on the depth chart.
Thu Jul 10 201421:29Jordan Adams rebounds on Thursday
Jordan Adams rebounded from his two-point game on Tuesday with a 19-point game on Thursday vs. the Rockets, adding three rebounds, one assist, three steals and one 3-pointer.
Before that aforementioned dud, Adams had two 20-point games and was a dynamic scorer on the outside. His range posed a threat to the defense and he really showed a nice first step. Adams probably needs a break or two in order to make an impact in his rookie season.

Mon Jul 7 201414:49Jordan Adams officially signs with Grizzlies
Jordan Adams has officially signed a multi-year deal with the Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies took Adams with the 22nd pick in the 2014 draft, so this is simply a formality. He'll have to compete for minutes with guys like Tony Allen and Courtney Lee, so he's not likely to have much fantasy value during his rookie season.

Sat Jul 5 201419:17Jordan Adams scores 22, hits four treys
Jordan Adams made 5-of-12 from the field and all eight attempts from the line for 22 points vs. the Thunder on Saturday, adding three rebounds, three assists, four steals, one block, one turnover and four 3-pointers.
It was a great outing for UCLA's leading scorer last season. Adams was a bit of a stat-stuff while with the Bruins, but he'll have a tough time getting minutes once the regular season comes around. He won't be worth drafting in standard leagues.
