Wed Oct 25 202315:45Kyle Kuzma Cleared For Opener
The Washington Wizards have removed forward Kyle Kuzma (calf) from the injury report ahead of Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Indiana Pacers. Kuzma couldn't play in the Wizards' final two preseason games with a calf contusion, but lit it up in the two exhibition contests he did participate in. The 28-year-old scored 41 points on 15-of-26 shooting with eight rebounds and five assists in 44 combined preseason minutes this fall. Kuzma is slated to share the bulk of Washington's offensive burdens with the incoming Jordan Poole, and he ultimately looks like a points-league preference. Kuzma averaged 22.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 3.3 three-pointers in three games against Indy last season, and Wednesday's contest features a slate-high 235.5-point implied total.

Tue Jun 20 202318:12Kyle Kuzma Declines His Player Option
Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma is declining his $13 million player option, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The possibility of returning to Washington is still on the table at a higher price tag, but he will enter free agency as one of the premier names in an otherwise not-so-great player pool. Last season, the 27-year-old averaged a career-high 21.2 points per game while adding 7.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest.

Mon Apr 10 202319:06Wizards Want To Keep Kyle Kuzma
Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma is most likely going to be a free agent this summer. He does have a $13 million player option for next season, but he'll likely decline that. Kuzma had a breakout season in Washington this year, so he should be able to easily get more than $13 million per season in free agency. That being said, the Wizards front office has made it their main goal to re-sign Kuzma and Kristaps Porzingis. Between the two, Kuzma is likely going to be the more difficult player to keep. He averaged a career-high 21.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in 64 games with Washington. The only way he'll stay in Washington is if the Wizards give him a hefty extension.

Mon Apr 3 202323:51Kyle Kuzma Sitting Again Versus Milwaukee
Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma (ankle) remains out on Tuesday versus Milwaukee. After this one, the Wizards have three games remaining in the 2022-23 campaign, so he probably won't see any more action this season. With Bradley Beal (knee), Kristaps Porzingis (illness), and Monte Morris (ankle) also out, Deni Avdija, Corey Kispert, Delon Wright, and Johnny Davis are all playable DFS options, despite the tough matchup.

Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma (ankle) won't play on Sunday against the Knicks. Kristaps Porzingis (illness), Monte Morris (ankle), and Bradley Beal (knee) are also out, so the Wizards will rely on players who wouldn't have seen action under normal circumstances. Mon Mar 27 202322:18Kyle Kuzma Remains Out Versus Boston
Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma (ankle) won't play on Tuesday against Boston, marking his fifth consecutive absence. The Wizards have some tough matchups on the horizon, so making the postseason may not be in the cards for Washington. As a result, fantasy managers may not see Kuzma on the floor for the remainder of the 2022-23 campaign. That said, Bradley Beal (knee) is also out versus the Celtics, meaning Deni Avdija and Corey Kispert should continue to see an uptick in scoring. Of course, Kristaps Porzingis will remain the primary offensive option.

Mon Mar 20 202318:28Kyle Kuzma Ruled Out For Tuesday
Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma (ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Orlando Magic. He was considered questionable for this game, but the team ultimately decided to rule him out for Tuesday's game. He left Saturday's game due to an ankle issue, so the Wizards will hold him out as a precaution on Tuesday. Sun Mar 19 202312:07Kyle Kuzma Scores Game-High 33 Points Versus Sacramento
Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma led all scorers with a 33-point effort in Saturday's 132-118 loss to Sacramento. A knee issue forced him to leave the game for a bit, but the injury apparently didn't have much effect on Kuzma's performance. He shot 12-for-23 from the field with a 4-for-11 record from deep, while also posting seven rebounds, three assists and one steal without committing a single turnover. Kristaps Porzingis (illness) was out and it definitely helped Kuzma on his way. He has seen a few more shots in each game without Porzingis and has pushed his scoring average to 25.0 points in those games this season.

Tue Mar 14 202316:16Kyle Kuzma Downgraded To Out On Tuesday Against Detroit
Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma (knee) has been downgraded from questionable to out on Tuesday. The 27-year-old seems to be dealing with some wear and tear type of soreness in his right knee and will get a rest day likely due to the fact that they're playing the 16-53 Detroit Pistons. While he's watching from the sidelines, Deni Avdija will probably see an uptick in minutes and Corey Kispert could even see some more opportunities. The former would be a stronger streaming option if needed.

Tue Mar 7 202318:57Kyle Kuzma Starting Tuesday Night
Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma (knee) will play and start Tuesday versus the Detroit Pistons. Kuzma missed Sunday's game with knee soreness, but will make his return to the starting lineup against Detroit. Anthony Gil will move back to the bench and Deni Avdija should see a slight dip in minutes with Kuzma's return. The Wizards are entering a back-to-back set of games, so Kuzma's status for Wednesday will be worth monitoring.

Mon Mar 6 202321:53Kyle Kuzma Listed As Questionable Again Tuesday
Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma (knee) is questionable to play versus the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday. Kuzma sat out last game with a knee injury and his status is murky for their next game as well. Anthony Gil started last game, but it was Deni Avdija who was the main benefactor of Kuzma's absence. If Kuzma is unable to play, Avdija would be the preferred fantasy option, regardless if he starts or not.

Sun Mar 5 202308:39Kyle Kuzma Hurts His Knee Saturday
Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma is in doubt for Sunday's meeting with Milwaukee after hurting his knee Saturday against Toronto. He banged knees with a Raptors player in the first half and was able to finish the game, but Kuzma was seen leaving the arena with a limp. The 27-year-old posted 15 points on 5-for-12 shooting Saturday and had six rebounds and one assist with five turnovers in 42 minutes. Daniel Gafford was also injured Saturday, leaving with a sprained ankle in the fourth quarter, so the Wizards could be lacking frontcourt options against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks. Deni Avdija and Corey Kispert are set for bigger roles if the Wizards can't roll with a full lineup.

LeBron James Injury Update

James injured his right foot during the third quarter of Sunday's comeback win over the Dallas Mavericks. It was a tense few seconds after the multi-time MVP clutched his foot after suffering what was deemed a "non-contact injury." The concern grew to greater heights after he was overheard saying, "I heard a pop." Situations like this are never good, as many were concerned that an Achilles tear could be the culprit.https://twitter.com/FanDuelTV/status/1630602449227595777?s=20Yet, after James gathered himself, he tightened his shoe and finished the game, totaling 26 points, eight rebounds, one block, and one steal. Head coach Darvin Ham appeared optimistic while speaking postgame, stating the 38-year-old was "good."However, that couldn't be further from the case, with The Athletic's Shams Charania reporting that James would "miss an extended period of time" because of the foot injury. Charania later added that the all-time scoring leader would "require multiple opinions."https://twitter.com/ShamsCharania/status/1630363560051187712?s=20

LeBron James' Season Recap

Despite James' advanced NBA age, he's still productive. In 47 appearances, he's averaged 29.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 6.9 assists. While his three-point percentage has regressed, that's never been his strong suit.James was also named an All-Star captain while recently passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the NBA's all-time scoring leader.https://twitter.com/NBAonTNT/status/1623184801284104192?s=20That said, despite some high-level accomplishments, the year has been a rough one for the 2003 No. 1 overall pick. He's battled left foot soreness for nearly the entire season, so much so that he routinely carried some type of injury designation heading into almost all of his games over the last few months....
