Turner scored a disappointing nine points with only three assists in Boston's Game 2 loss versus Cleveland, but he did lead the team with 12 rebounds.

Cleveland is surprising Boston with unexpected tight perimeter defense. Other than Isaiah Thomas, Boston's guards and wings have had a poor series versus the Cavs. The Celtics hope to turn things around as they return home for Thursday's Game 3.

Turner recorded 12 points (4-12 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and a steal in 34 minutes during Sunday's loss to the Cavaliers.

Turner didn't necessarily have the best day shooting the ball, but considering he had the second highest amount field goal attempts on his team, that at least marks a good sign for his fantasy value. While his inconsistency is always something to be aware of, he'll still most likely get a ton of minutes from here on out, so that could potentially give him an opportunity for some decent performances as the series goes on.

Turner had a nice all-around game with 15 points (6-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, five assists, and four steals in 27 minutes in the win over Cleveland on Sunday.

Turner may have found his role as a point forward and has averaged 7.6 assists in his last five games. It will be interesting to see if the Celtics continue to allow him to have the ball in his hands going forward. For now, he continues to be a nice value play.

Turner had 13 points (6-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt), 12 assists, 11 rebounds and one turnover in 35 minutes on Wednesday.

Turner netted his third triple-double of the season against Indiana. He's going to get a ton of minutes down the stretch as the Celtics are battling for a playoff slot in the Eastern Conference. Be aware, he's been known to put up some duds from time to time.

Turner scored 15 points (7-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT) to go along with six rebounds, five assists and one steal in 30 minutes Monday against the Hornets.

Although Turner can be inconsistent offensively, he continues to contribute in other categories as he has recorded at least five rebounds and at least five assists in five of his last six games. If you can live with his offensive limitations, he can still provide solid value.

Turner posted 15 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in 36 minutes of action Friday against the Knicks.

Turner has been a solid all-around contributor of later, averaging 15.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 0.6 steals over the last five games. While he's struggling from the free-throw line (65 percent) during that span, his multi-category production makes him a strong asset in fantasy -- specifically in points leagues.

Turner recorded a triple-double in 40 minutes Monday against the Nets as he scored 19 points (9-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go along with 10 rebounds, 12 assists and one block.

Turner may be one of the more frustrating players to try and predict his fantasy value. He has the ability to put up great overall stat lines like this, but also can throw up really bad nights and turn the ball over a lot. Although he is inconsistent, he is an intriguing option especially in daily leagues when he has a favorable matchup.

Turner started with Marcus Smart (suspension) out Sunday and played 39 minutes in an overtime loss to the Pistons. He finished the game with 23 points (10-21 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, eight assists and three steals.

Turner has now played 30 or more minutes in each of his past three games, and is averaging 16 points per game in those contests. It's very unlikely that he keeps that pace up, especially considering Smart will return to the starting role next game.

Turner posted 17 points, one rebound, and four assists in 33 minutes of action Friday against the Spurs.

Turner is averaging 13.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.4 steals over the last five games. He's worth owning in 12-man leagues due to his multi-category production.

Turner broke out of his slump Friday against the Magic, posting 30 points (12-20 FG, 5-5 FT, 1-3 3Pt), five rebounds, four assists, and two steals in 33 minutes of action.

Turner has been solid over the last five games, averaging 13.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.8 three-pointers made. While he's often criticized for his poor shooting percentages, he's managed to go 46 percent from the field and 100 percent (12-12) from the line during that span. His contribution in counting categories make him an asset in standard leagues, and particularly a strong asset in points leagues.

Turner is averaging 7.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 6.8 assists through February, but unfortunately is shooting 28 percent from the field. He should only be owned if you are punting field goal percentage.

If his ugly field goal percentage doesn't scare you away, Turner has been moderately productive since moving to small forward for the Celtics, averaging 7.4 points, 7.6 boards, 7.0 assists and 1.0 steals in five games.

Turner will move off the ball and start at small forward Tuesday, the Boston Herald's Steve Bulpett reports.

Marcus Smart is getting the start at point guard Tuesday, so Turner's value as a contributor in assists is trending way down, especially after he had just three total dimes in his last two games. He could start to score more, taking on the role Jeff Green vacated, but he probably won't bring much efficiency to that role, and he is already struggling to see a starter's workload.

Turner scored zero points (0-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt), to go with five rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 19 minutes on Sunday.

Turner had a terrible game on Sunday, mainly because he wasn't able to get any offense going. He's a tough player to own because he's not consistent enough to depend on, while performances like this will come up more frequently than most can stomach. However, he has value as long as he's starting and getting minutes.

Turner (thumb) had 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and six assists in 27 minutes against the Timberwolves on Wednesday.

Turner learned Monday that his thumb is sprained. It didn't seem to affect him as his Wednesday stat line was right on par with his season averages of 9.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 25 minutes per game.

Turner has been diagnosed with a sprained right thumb after his X-rays came back negative Monday, the Boston Globe reports.

Turner has actually sprained this thumb before and he should be considered day-to-day ahead of Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves as a result. If he's ultimately unable to play, rookie Marcus Smart will likely benefit from added time on the court.

Turner experienced pain in his thumb throughout Monday's game against the Jazz and is scheduled to get X-rays to determine if there's something internally problematic, the Boston Globe reports.

The results of Turner's X-rays will be revealed in due time, although he managed to play through the pain Monday which seems to be a good sign in terms of the potential severity of the injury. Regardless, Marcus Smart will likely see more time on the court if Turner is pushed to the sidelines.

Turner put up 19 points (7-12 FG, 1-1 3 Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and one block in 32 minutes.

Turner's production Sunday came with Marcus Smart (personal) out of the equation, but even with Smart in the picture, Turner has performed well lately. Over his last five games, Turner has averaged 12.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 0.6 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 0.8 three-pointers on 50 percent from the field and 63 percent from the free-throw line in 31 minutes per game. While some of those stats are unsustainable for Tuner, he remains a good source of assists for 12-team leagues and larger.

Turner scored 10 points to go with 10 rebounds and six assists in Monday's loss to the Clippers.

Turner is putting up productive counting stats this month - 9.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.7 assists - but his efficiency has plummeted since he began playing more point guard after the Rajon Rondo deal. After shooting 48.2 percent in December and 44.0 percent in November, Turner is down to 38.5 percent in January, and he's attempting more than 10 shots per game.

Turner scored nine points (3-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-6 FT) and added 15 rebounds, seven assists, and two steals in 38 minutes during Friday's overtime loss to the Pacers.

Jeff Green was held out, pending an expected trade to the Grizzlies. In his absence, Turner saw his workload increase - Turner has typically played between 20-27 minutes per game. Granted, some of Turner's extra minutes came during the extra period, but that only accounts for a portion of the increase. Turner's shooting was typically inefficient, but his high rebound and assist totals show what he is capable of with a bigger workload. Managers with roster flexibility and a tolerance for his poor field goal shooting should strongly consider picking up Turner as a flier. The Celtics rotation is unlikely to stabilize in the immediate future. When it does, Turner could be back in the role he had before this flurry of trades - but he could also end up in a high-minutes spot where he can rack up the counting stats.
