Landry had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in 31 minutes Tuesday coming off the bench.
Landry saw a big bump in playing time thanks to Rudy Gay going down with injury and the fact that the game went into overtime. He still carries limited value across most formats. Consider Tuesday an aberration until he proves otherwise.

Landry had a nice performance Wednesday, pouring in 14 points (7-11 FG, 0-0 3pt, 0-0 FT) five rebounds, and blocking two shots in the loss to Boston.
Landry was the beneficiary of Sacramento's poor offensive play as Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins struggled mightily scoring just a combined 20 points. Landry's 29 minutes matched his second highest minute totals of the season and he answered the bell, shooting 64% from the field and leading his team in scoring. He will continue to be Sacramento's six man off the bench, averaging 7.9 points, and 4.1 rebounds per game.

Landry scored 14 points (5-9 FG, 0-0 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and contributed seven rebounds in 22 minutes on Friday against the Pacers.
As long as there is a need for minutes in the front court for the Kings, Landry is the guy off the bench. Unfortunately, if you're using Landry his value will come back down as DeMarcus Cousins is set to return next week. If you need rebounds and points on Saturday he should be able to help you, especially because the Magic have been generous to power forwards this season.

Landry played 17 minutes off the bench in Thursday's win over Chicago. He scored two points (1-7 FG), grabbed four rebounds, one assist, and one block with one turnover.
Landry was off tonight from the field, only hitting one field goal in seven attempts. The veteran's best years seem to be behind him. Leave him on your waiver wire in standard fantasy leagues.

Landry scored 14 points (7-12 FG) in 23 minutes off the bench during Monday's win over the Nuggets.
It's his first double-digit scoring night of the season, as Landry makes his comeback from a knee injury that limited him to just 18 games in 2013-2014. If he shows he's fully recovered, he could become a valuable weapon on Sacramento's second unit.
Sun Oct 19 201413:14Landry able to practice everyday without soreness in knee
Landry has been able to practice everyday without soreness in his knee, James Bell of Cowbell Kingdom reports.
Landry tore the meniscus in his right knee last February and was limited to just 18 games in the 2013-14 season. It seems that physically he is very close to 100 percent, but coach Michael Malone has noted that the 31-year-old still hasn't surpassed some of the mental barriers that also need to be dealt with after returning from major injury. Looking ahead, Landry will split time backing up Jason Thompson with Derrick Williams and Reggie Williams.

Landry scored two points (0-2 FG, 2-2 FT) with zero rebounds in six minutes Sunday.
Landry had his playing time largely cut against the Nets on Sunday after playing well in his first two preseason games in which he averaged 7 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 17.5 minutes. The question is why the sudden drop in minutes? What we still don't know is whether this is due to his injury (knee) problems over the past year, and coach Mike Malone doesn't think he is ready yet, or if the 31-year-old Landry just doesn't have the same abilities he had when he was in his 20's. If Landry can get fully healthy, play with the same rebounding and scoring abilities, and can be provided some valuable minutes off the bench, he could be a guy to look for in the later rounds. The problem is that is a big IF but will likely be resolved by the end of preseason play.
Tue Sep 30 201417:47Landry (knee) held out of Tuesday's practice
Landry (knee) was held out of Tuesday's practice, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.
After logging his first full practice Saturday since tearing the meniscus in his right knee in February, it's no surprise that coach Mike Malone is easing Landry into training camp. With appearances in just 140 of a possible 230 contests over the last three seasons, or 60.9 percent, his expected reserve role behind starting power forward Jason Thompson will keep Landry's relevance in check.

Landry (knee) was a full participant at practice Saturday for the first time since he tore his meniscus in February, Steve Wilson of NBA.com reports.
After practice coach Michael Malone admitted that Landry probably isn't back at a 100 percent, but is growing closer. The seventh-year player will likely be slotted behind Jason Thompson at power forward during the Kings' 2014-15 campaign. Considering that Landry only played 18 games last season and will come of the bench this year, he should be passed over in most standard sized leagues.
Thu Sep 18 201412:07Landry (knee) still not 100 percent
Landry (knee) is still not 100 percent, NBA.com reports. "Right now, I'm trying to get back to 100-percent and I would say that I'm almost there I'm very close," Landry said.
Landry returned to the Kings last season after a stint with the Warriors but was hampered by injuries throughout the year. He appeared in only 18 games, as a torn hip flexor and torn meniscus limited his availability. Once fully healthy, he may require some time to shake off the rust, but expect a much more productive season from the former Purdue star.
Tue Jun 17 201413:18Carl Landry making progress in knee rehab
Carl Landry (knee) is making progress in his rehab from a torn meniscus in his right knee.
Landry is currently rehabbing in Indianapolis after undergoing surgery on his knee in March and is hoping to deliver on the expectations the Kings had for him when they inked him to a $26 million contract last summer. "I dedicated this summer to redefining my mind and my body and hopefully having one of the best years of my career," the 30-year-old said. "Confidence is the game. After having injuries, there's certain moves you don't want to make." Landry only played 18 games for the Kings last season and can be a decent option in deeper fantasy leagues, but he'll join a crowded frontcourt once he's fully healthy and shouldn't be on fantasy owners' draft boards for the time being.

Thu Mar 20 201417:57Carl Landry done for year after knee surgery
Carl Landry had surgery on Thursday to repair a torn medial meniscus in his right knee.
Landry's four-year pact with the Kings is off to a horrible start, as he appeared in just 18 games this season and averaged 4.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 0.3 assists in 13 minutes per game. He's expected to be fully recovered in time for training camp, but that doesn't mean he'll be worth drafting in typical fantasy leagues.

Sat Mar 8 201414:25Carl Landry out for season w/ torn meniscus
Carl Landry will miss the remainder of the season due to a medial meniscus tear in his right knee.
An MRI revealed the bad news, which means the 30-year-old will finish the season the way he began it -- rehabbing from a major injury. He's played 18 games total since signing a four-year, $26 million deal during the offseason. The Kings will rely on guys like Reggie Evans, Derrick Williams, Quincy Acy and Jason Thompson to pick up the slack in his absence.

Thu Mar 6 201410:26Carl Landry out for the foreseeable future
Carl Landry (knee) will be out for the foreseeable future, according to Kings coach Michael Malone.
We have yet to hear the results of Landry's MRI from Monday, but coach Kevin Malone's latest quotes don't bode well for Landry's availability in the near future. "I think they're still talking with the doctors, getting results, but he's out for the foreseeable future," Malone said. We'll consider Landry out indefinitely unless we hear otherwise, while Jason Thompson, Derrick Williams, and Reggie Evans will all absorb minutes that otherwise would have gone to Landry.

Wed Mar 5 201418:44Carl Landry won't play on Wednesday vs. Bucks
Carl Landry (knee) will not play against the Bucks on Wednesday.
There is still no word on his MRI and the Kings have no reason to put him on the court at less than 100 percent. Landry has battled injuries all season and played in just 18 games so far this season, so he can be ignored in almost all formats until he can prove he's able to stay healthy.

Tue Mar 4 201409:33Carl Landry awaiting MRI results on knee
The Kings are awaiting MRI results on Carl Landry (knee) before determining next steps.
Landry has missed three games with his sore right knee and his impending MRI results will help determine how the team proceeds. "Once we get those results, obviously we'll be able to have a much better idea of what the plan is with him moving forward," coach Michael Malone said. "I'm hoping that he's going to be able to play some of these games to finish out the season." The Kings had been planning to give Landry a lot of playing time, but Derrick Williams and Jason Thompson will benefit from the inherited his minutes for as long as Landry is out.

Mon Mar 3 201421:15Carl Landry (knee) still out of the lineup
Carl Landry (knee) will not play against the Pelicans on Monday.
He is headed for an MRI on his injured knee and it sounds like he'll be missing more time. Landry just can't stay healthy in his first year back in Sacramento, so he's not really on the fantasy ready until he shows he can stay on the court.

Sat Mar 1 201421:16Carl Landry (knee) not play on Saturday
Carl Landry (knee) will not play against the Wolves on Saturday night.
His knee tendinitis will keep him out of his second game in a row this weekend. Landry's hip surgery in the offseason has kept him down for most of this season and he's unlikely to get anything going in his first year back with the Kings.

Fri Feb 28 201421:12Carl Landry (knee) out on Friday vs. Lakers
Carl Landry (knee) will not play on Friday against the Lakers.
Landry is still playing his way into shape and though he has shown some progress from what appeared to be a Chuck Hayes reenactment, this could be a sign that he's still a ways away or some new ailment. We'll let you know when we get clarification. Look for Derrick Williams, Jason Thompson, Reggie Evans and Aaron Gray to each play more than they're accustomed to.

Fri Feb 28 201414:17Carl Landry won't draw start after all
Updating a previous item, Carl Landry will not start Friday's game against the Lakers.
With the Lakers starting Wes Johnson at the power forward spot, the Kings will be going small. Derrick Williams will start at the four and Jason Thompson will be at the five. Landry isn't a recommended plug-n-play as he fights with Reggie Evans for minutes off the bench.
