Thompson had 10 points (3-9 FG, 4-6 FT), 11 rebounds, four blocks, one assist and one steal in 33 minutes of action against Memphis on Wednesday.

Teammate DeMarcus Cousins was in foul trouble which likely led the the up tick in minutes. This was a nice statistical line, however it's Jason Thompson and he cannot be trusted.

Thompson played 17 minutes off the bench Wednesday in the loss to Milwaukee and provided seven points (3-4 FG, 1-3 FT) and seven rebounds.

Thompson was replaced int eh starting lineup by Omri Casspi, but he played more minutes than the starter. He has been bouncing in and out of the starting lineup, but has averaged 6.0 points and 5.4 rebounds in his last five games.

Thompson will come off the bench Wednesday against the Bucks, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.

Thompson will shift to the bench against an undersized Milwaukee front line, as Omri Casspi will move into the lineup at power forward. Neither player's minutes are likely to be drastically impacted.

Thompson started in Thursday's game against the Mavericks but only spent 18 minutes on the court while recording three rebounds, one steal, and one block.

Thompson's move into the starting lineup bumped Derrick Williams to the bench, although Williams ended up spending 19 minutes on the court. Looking ahead, it appears that Thompson will still have limited value even when inserted into the starting power forward position.

Thompson will start Thursday's game against the Mavericks, the Cowbell Kingdom reports.

Thompson hit the bench Tuesday, when he almost put up a double-double (eight points and eight rebounds). Meanwhile, in 43 previous starts this season, he's averaged merely 5.6 points (on 46 percent shooting), 6.5 rebounds, and one assist in 26 minutes. Fortunately for Thompson, the Mavericks are giving Dirk Nowitzki (rest) the night off, leaving him with a favorable matchup against likely replacement Richard Jefferson.

Thompson will come off the bench Tuesday, the Sacramento Bee's Jason Jones reports.

The Kings play Golden State, and Derrick Williams should be able to do a better job of chasing Draymond Green around than Thompson would. However, look for Thompson to be back in the starting lineup before long.

Thompson came off the bench for 11 minutes against the Warriors on Friday. He was able to contribute two points, one rebound, one assist, and one rebound during his short time on the court.

Thompson has been in and out of the starting lineup of late, but he's in a slump recently and coach Ty Corbin responded by moving him to the bench. In fact, Friday's outing was a season-low in minutes for Thompson. As a result, those that obtained the 28-year-old after his monster double-double on Jan. 17 may want to cut bait at this juncture.

Thompson will come off the bench Friday against the Warriors.

Though he's less than a week removed from an out-of-nowhere 23-point, 22-rebound outburst against the Clippers, Thompson has slipped back to anonymity the past two games, contributing a mere eight points and nine rebounds combined. He'll be replaced in the starting lineup by Derrick Williams on Friday, but it might not represent a demotion in the traditional sense, as both players had been seeing similar minutes over each of the last few contests. In any event, those hoping that Thompson's huge game against the Clippers would lead to sustained scoring and rebounding production should probably look at it as an aberration for the seventh-year forward.

Thompson grabbed a career high 22 rebounds to go with 23 points (9-15 FG, 5-6 FT), two assists and one block in 36 minutes Saturday.

With no DeMarcus Cousins (ankle), Thompson took on the role of go-to post presence, putting up ludicrous numbers. If Cousins remains out, Thompson has proven over the course of the season he can have some value, but not to this level. Consider this an aberration, but don't discount Thompson from further contributions if Cousins remains out.

Thompson will get the starting nod Wednesday against the Thunder, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.

Thompson will once again start in favor of Derrick Williams after collecting a combined 17 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks in his last two games. He'll square off against the Thunder's formidable frontcourt duo of Serge Ibaka and Steven Adams.

Thompson scored 9 points (4-6 FG, 1-1 FT), to go along with seven rebounds, and three blocks in 23 minutes on Sunday.

Thompson drew the start tonight and was able to produce a decently efficient game, although he didn't exactly get an increase in minutes either. With trade talks swirling around the Kings it's possible they were giving him a start to showcase his abilities. Regardless, he remains a player who can be ignored in most formats.

Thompson will get the start Sunday against Detroit.

Thompson, who was moved to the bench Wednesday against Boston, will return to the starting lineup in an effort to counter the size of Detroit's front line of Andre Drummond and Greg Monroe. The Kings have not stated whether the move is permanent, but there's little evidence to suggest either Thompson or Derrick Williams have a firm grasp on the starting role.

Thompson moved to the bench for Wednesday afternoon's game against the Celtics, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.

The Kings, who did not announce a starting lineup until just before tip-off, made the call to move Thompson to the bench and insert little-used Ryan Hollins into the starting five. The precise reason for the move is unknown, but it likely has something to do with the fact that Thompson is averaging career-lows in points per game (5.1) and field goal percentage (43.6%) this season.

Thompson continued his recent scoring slump, scoring just two points (1-1 FG) in 12 minutes of play in a loss to the Suns on Friday.

Thompson has started every game this season for the Kings, but has now scored single-digit points in six straight games. His shooting isn't the issue (he's a perfect 5-for-5 in his past three games), but he's just not involved in the offense, as evidenced by his limited playing time Friday. Earlier in December, Thompson was making a case to be a legitimate fantasy option, but lately just hasn't been productive enough to be owned in most leagues.

Thompson scored a season-high 18 points (9-12 FG) with nine rebounds and four assists in 32 minutes Saturday against the Magic.

THat makes two straight games that Thompson has played in excess of 30 minutes and been a useful fantasy contributor, narrowly missing a double-double Friday. It must be noted that these big nights are coming without DeMarcus Cousins (illness) in the lineup so expectations should be tempted when Boogie returns. For now, Thompson may be a short term add if you have an open roster spot. For the season, Thompson is averaging 4.9 points and 6.4 rebounds.

Thompson score nine points (3-8 FG, 0-0 3pt, 3-5 FT) and added 10 rebounds and a steal in 38 minutes of work against the Pacers on Friday night.

This game went to overtime and DeMarcus Cousins sat out with an illness. These two factors helped Thompson get to get a whopping 38 minutes of playing time. He is averaging 26 minutes per game thus far this season. His value will drop once DeMarcus Cousins comes back, as he has averaged just four points and six rebounds a game this season.

Thompson (quadriceps) made the start Thursday and contributed three points (1-5 FG, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist, and one block in 29 minutes.

Thompson has been dealing with tightness in his left quad but hasn't actually missed time off the court because of the injury. At this point it seems unlikely that he'll be sidelined by this minor injury as the Kings face the Timberwolves on Saturday.

Thompson is officially listed as probable for Thursday's game against the Bulls, James Ham of Cowbell Kingdom reports.

For the second straight game, Thompson is listed as probable while battling left quad tendinitis. The ailment didn't seem to affect him too greatly Tuesday against New Orleans, as he posted 15 points and nine boards in 25 minutes.

Thompson scored 15 points (6-10 FG, 3-4 FT), with nine rebounds in 25 minutes during Tuesday's loss to the Pelicans.

Thompson was probable to play, but did well in limited minutes. Omri Casspi actually played more than Thompson did, but the big man was still able to have a solid night. Temper your expectations with Thompson though, as this is the first time he's hit double figure points all season.

Thompson is probable for Tuesday's contest against the Pelicans due to left quadriceps tendinitis.

Expect Thompson to man his typical spot at power forward, but Rudy Gay's potential absence due to tendinitis in his right Achilles throws a wrench into the forward rotation. If Gay fails to take the court, and Thompson is somewhat limited, Carl Landry and Omri Casspi are the likely candidates to take on additional run.
