Singler will start Saturday's game against the Hornets in place of Kevin Durant (foot), Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman reports.
Singler will get the start in his OKC debut, but with Anthony Morrow, Perry Jones and Dion Waiters also on the roster, Singler won't necessarily play typical starter minutes. A change of scenery is unlikely to change the reality that Singler offers little besides three-point shooting.
Fri Feb 20 201518:45Singler will be available for Saturday's game against Hornets
Singler will be available for Saturday's game against the Hornets, The Oklahoman's Anthony Slater reports.
The trade should make it difficult for Singler to see enough minutes to be useful in most leagues, as he will be competing with a lot of similarly talented players for minutes on the wing.
Thu Feb 19 201515:11Singler traded to Thunder
Singler has been traded to the Thunder, Yahoo! Sports reports.
Singler is a lackadasikal non-entity at times due to his overtly-relaxed style of play, so while he may excel as a statue to put in the corner for three-pointers, Singler is unlikely to play a significant enough role on the Thunder to hold value in standard leagues.

Singler failed to score a point on Wednesday, missing his only two shot attempts (both from three-point range) while chipping in two assists, a rebound and a steal in 19 minutes.
Jodie Meeks and Jonas Jerebko ended up seeing big minutes off the bench in a blowout loss, but Singler hadn't exactly been doing much to keep a stranglehold on his starting small forward job even before Wednesday's stinker. His limited value could take a further hit if coach Stan Van Gundy decides to shake up his wing rotation at some point.

Singler (nose) had seven points (2-9 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with five rebounds in 23 minutes in the loss to Milwaukee on Saturday.
Singler played with a mask to protect his nasal fracture, but played his normal complement of minutes. He hit four 3-pointers on Wednesday, but had some problems from distance against the Bucks. Singler's value has not changed much even with the broken nose.

Singler (nose) will be playing with a mask against the Bucks on Saturday, Keith Langlois of Pistons.com reports.
Singler suffered a nasal fracture against the Magic on Wednesday but seems poised to play through the pain Saturday. He'll likely be able to play around the 22.9 minutes that he's been averaging this season, but there's always a possibility that he won't be able to adjust to playing with the mask, or that he'll feel discomfort during the game.

Singler is dealing with a nasal fracture and is considered questionable for Saturday's game against the Bucks, the Detroit News reports.
Singler will likely be evaluated after Saturday's morning shootaround to determine his status against the Bucks. If he's unable to play, Caron Butler may see a bump in minutes.

Singler provided 20 points (7-12 FG, 6-8 3Pt) in 26 minutes in the win over Philadelphia on Saturday.
Singler was averaging just 6.2 points in nine previous January games. He doesn't provide enough of anything on a consistent basis to have fantasy value in anything but the deepest of leagues.

Singler scored 21 points (8-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with six rebounds in 40 minutes in the overtime loss to Philadelphia on Saturday.
Singler had only scored a combined 17 points in his previous three games, but was given more run since he was knocking down 3-pointers. He has not scored in double digits in two consecutive games this season.

Singler will start Sunday's game against the Warriors as Greg Monroe moves to the bench, Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Singler will step in at small forward, pushing Josh Smith to the power forward spot. Coach Stan Van Gundy is yet to comment on the change, but it's likely prompted by the PIstons' current seven-game slide. While Singler will see the court earlier, it remains to be seen whether his minutes load will take a significant leap. He played 26 minutes against the Bucks on Friday but played just seven in Wednesday's loss to the Clippers.

Singler scored a season-high 21 points (5-8 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT) with four rebounds in 27 minutes in the loss to the Grizzlies on Saturday.
Singler had not scored in double digits this season and hit a cumulative seven 3-pointers in his previous nine games. He is getting consistent minutes, but doesn't provide results in most games.
Sat Nov 8 201411:51Singler came off bench in Friday's win over Milwaukee
Singler came off the bench in Friday's win over Milwaukee. He finished with two points and two rebounds in 14 minutes.
The Pistons have rolled out their big starting frontcourt of Josh Smith, Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond each of the past two games, which has relegated Singler to a reserve role. Singler held minimal value as a member of the starting lineup, and he's safe to drop in most formats now that he's stuck in a backup role.

Singler earned his second consecutive start at small forward, finishing with five points and three rebounds in a losing effort against the Timberwolves.
Singler took a back seat to Caron Butler in the second half and finished with 24 minutes of run. While there's a good chance Singler could remain a member of the Pistons starting five for the foreseeable future, he'll have a hard time carving a big enough role to make much of a fantasy impact. The pending return of Greg Monroe (suspension) this weekend will only give the Pistons another mouth to feed on the offensive end before considering Singler for touches.
Sun Oct 26 201413:50Singler will start at small forward position to start season
Singler will start at the small forward position to start the season, Keith Langlois of the team's official site reports.
Singler started 36 of 82 games last season, however those starts were at the shooting guard spot. With the addition of Jodie Meeks, Singler will see most of his minutes at the small forward, however he will still see some time at guard. With Caron Butler and Josh Smith potentially taking small forward minutes, Singler could see significant competition for minutes and may not have much value in standard leagues, despite his starting status.
Wed Oct 15 201414:22Singler could see time at shooting guard with Jodie Meeks (back)...
Singler could see time at shooting guard with Jodie Meeks (back) expected to miss two months, the Detroit Free Press reports.
Meeks' injury opens the door for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who's dealing with a knee injury right now, to likely step into the starting role once the regular season tips off. After the Pistons' offseason moves, Singler was expected to see most of his action at small forward this year, but his versatility and previous experience at shooting guard allows the Pistons to use him at the two when injuries force their hand. The third-year wing should see a slight uptick in minutes while Meeks is out.

Singler has been told to study the power-forward playbook for the Pistons in case coach Stan Van Gundy wants to play the small forward at power forward in some smaller lineups, the Pistons' official site reports.
Singler is a rangy small forward who lacks physical girth, which is one reason why he spent a lot of time at shooting guard over the last two seasons. With Van Gundy taking over as the Pistons' head coach this season and Jodie Meeks coming to the team in free agency, it's expected that Singler will spend most of his time at small forward this season and occasionally receive exploratory minutes as a stretch four. At 6-8, 230 pounds, Singler has the length to play an undersized power forward, but he would give up a lot on defense if asked to defend a traditional power forward.
Tue Apr 1 201400:00Singler scores 14 points with two threes
Kyle Singler scored 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting (including two threes) with five rebounds and one block over 28 minutes on Monday against the Bucks.
Singler slowed down a bit a week or so ago but he's back to returning mid-round value over the past four games, averaging 13.3 points with 2.0 threes, 3.3 boards, 0.5 steals and 0.8 blocks while hitting 53 percent of his shots. Pick him up.

Wed Mar 26 201423:49Kyle Singler scores 18 in 30 minutes
Kyle Singler hit 7-of-11 shots and four 3-pointers for 18 points, three rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in Wednesday's loss.
He had scored a total of 20 points in his previous three games, so this one sort of came out of nowhere. It's possible he just went through a slump and is ready to get hot again, and he's also hit a 3-pointer in six straight games. As long as he's starting, he's still worth a look in most leagues.

Tue Mar 25 201401:40Singler plays 28 minutes on a quiet night
Kyle Singler increased his workload to 28 minutes in Monday's win over the Jazz, scoring five points on 2-of-5 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds and one block.
Singler is in a bit of a tumble but he's still managed to hold onto late-round value over the last two weeks, and over the last four games in which he's fallen to just 26.8 mpg he is still a 14-team value. Jonas Jerebko earned more minutes with a 22-point outing on Saturday but had just seven points and eight rebounds in 24 minutes tonight, so it's unclear if he will continue to take from Singler, who was humming along nicely before the timeshare was upon him.

Sun Mar 23 201401:04Kyle Singler watches Jerebko show from bench
Kyle Singler started on Saturday but played just 19 minutes to finish with six points and three rebounds on 2-of-7 shooting.
Jonas Jerebko caught fire and finished with 22 points and five 3-pointers for one of the best games of his life and because he was so hot, Singler played his least amount of minutes since Jan. 22. He should bounce back, but it's possible the Pistons give Jerebko more minutes going forward, making this a dicey situation if you need Singler's minutes in a deep league.
