Sun Nov 6 202214:41Pascal Siakam Out At Least Two Weeks
Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam (groin) was diagnosed with a right adductor strain. He will be out for the next two weeks before being re-evaluated. It's horrible timing for Siakam, who has averaged a career-high 24.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 7.7 assists this season. Unquestionably, fantasy managers are disappointed and will remain hopeful he'll return sooner rather than later. In the meantime, Scottie Barnes, OG Anunoby, and Fred VanVleet are the favorites to see an uptick in production moving ahead. At the same time, Precious Achiuwa and Chris Boucher should make fine streaming additions until Siakam returns.

Sun Nov 6 202201:20Pascal Siakam Not Expected To Play On Sunday
Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam (groin) isn't expected to play in Sunday's matchup versus Chicago. Siakam exited Friday's loss to the Dallas Mavericks because of a going strain and didn't return. The 28-year-old has had a fantastic season, so the team is hoping to get him back as soon as possible. However, until Siakam is healthy enough to play, Chris Boucher and Precious Achiuwa should see more minutes.

Sat Nov 5 202201:40Pascal Siakam Suffers Groin Injury
Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam (groin) suffered a right groin strain during Friday's loss to Dallas. The 28-year-old sustained the injury near the end of the third quarter. He did not return. The timing couldn't be worse for Siakam, who has averaged a career-high 25.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 7.9 assists this season. But now, there's a good chance he will at least miss Sunday's matchup versus the Chicago Bulls. If that happens, Chris Boucher and Precious Achiuwa, who combined for 32 points against the Mavs, will see more minutes.

Thu Nov 3 202210:52Pascal Siakam Collects Triple-Double Against Spurs
Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam continued his tremendous start to the season with a triple-double against the San Antonio Spurs. The 28-year-old finished the game with 22 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists and one steal while shooting 10-for-19 from the floor. That was only in 28 minutes of playing time as well. He's now in the top 14 for scoring, top 17 in rebounds and top seven in assists. He's been producing in fantasy closer to a second-round pick rather than his third-round ADP.

Tue Nov 1 202208:41Pascal Siakam Shines Against Atlanta
Toronto Raptors forward/center Pascal Siakam had a big night against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, scoring a game-high 31 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in a 139-109 win. This was a blowout, but Siakam still played 35 minutes and it allowed him to add six assists and two blocks to his tally. The Cameroon-born big man was impressively able to avoid any turnovers after racking up 11 of them in his previous three outings. It was a great night for the Raptors star, although Siakam struggled a bit with his shot, going 8-for-21 from the field. He will enter Wednesday's matchup against the Spurs with a run of three consecutive double-doubles and one of them came with assists. It's been a productive start to the year all around for Siakam, and fingers crossed that we won't be seeing him on the injury report in 2022-23 as often as in previous seasons.

Sat Oct 22 202202:29Pascal Siakam Records A Triple-Double In Loss To Brooklyn
Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam had a triple-double on Friday. However, it wasn't enough to lift his team to a win over the Brooklyn Nets. Siakam finished with a game-high 37 points, shooting 15-for-21 from the field and 2-for-6 from deep. He also had 12 boards and 11 assists. Unlike last season, Siakam is healthy to begin the 2022-23 campaign and remains an All-Star caliber player capable of contributing in many areas. Still, Siakam hasn't played more than 60 games in two of his previous three seasons, so fantasy managers should expect him to miss time at some point moving ahead.

Tue Oct 18 202210:11Pascal Siakam Doesn't Get Contract Extension
Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam did not sign an extension before the deadline this season. His contract does keep him with the team through 2023-24, so he will be eligible for an extension next summer. If he makes All-NBA this season, he'll even be eligible for a super-max extension. The 28-year-old is one of the main drivers of this Raptors team. He made the All-NBA third team last year after delivering a stat line of 22.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game. This is a big gamble on himself to try for the super-max, but he should get a good payday either way. The added incentive to have a great season could mean even better production for fantasy managers who drafted him.

Wed Oct 5 202223:46Pascal Siakam Drops 13 Points In Win Over Boston
Toronto Raptors forward/center Pascal Siakam finished with 13 points during the win over the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night. He also added six rebounds, one assist, and one steal. The 28-year-old didn't suit up until November in 2021-22 due to offseason surgery. However, he still had arguably the best year of his career by averaging 22.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.3 steals. At the same time, his absences over the years should concern fantasy managers, and his career 32.8% shooting from deep will negatively impact category participants. Yet, Siakam is a double-double threat whenever he's on the court, and his passing ability is a plus.

Wed Aug 3 202221:47Pascal Siakam Looks Fantastic
Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam has looked absolutely spectacular, according to head coach Nick Nurse. Siakam is coming off third-round fantasy value with the Raptors last season. "His athleticism is electric, his focus, his shot is smooth and soft. He looks great," said Nurse. There is a chance that Siakam does lose some touches to Scottie Barnes. Regardless, it sounds like Siakam is looking solid, so he shouldn't slip past the third round in fantasy drafts.

Siakam kept the Raptors in the first half of the game and played 43:47 in the last game of the first round matchup, finishing with a productive performance throughout the series. Siakam had a career-year in many categories including rebounds, assists and steals per game, and the 28-year-old will be drafted in the early rounds of fantasy basketball leagues in the fall.

Tue Apr 26 202210:19Pascal Siakam Posts Double-Double In Game 5
Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam was a significant contributor during Monday's Game 5 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. The Raptors needed extra help with Kyle Lowry (hamstring) unavailable for this contest. Siakam stepped up and delivered to help the Raptors stay alive in the playoffs. He finished with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists in Monday's victory. The momentum in this series has clearly shifted as we headed towards Game 6 in Toronto. Fantasy managers should expect Siakam to continue contributing in a big way for this team.

Sun Apr 10 202218:15Fred Vanvleet, Pascal Siakam To Rest On Sunday
Toronto Raptors guard Fred VanVleet (knee) and Pascal Siakam (rest) have been ruled out for Sunday's game against the New York Knicks. The Raptors are giving some of their starters the game off with the No. 5 seed already locked up. Malachi Flynn will draw the start and have streaming appeal in deep leagues. However, Gary Trent Jr. and Scottie Barnes are the far better fantasy options. They should see a high usage without Vanvleet and Siakam on the court.

Fri Apr 8 202210:11Pascal Siakam Notches Second Triple-Double Of Season
Toronto Raptors power forward/center Pascal Siakam dominated in all facets of Thursday's victory over Philadelphia, compiling a 37-point triple-double to lead his team. With Fred VanVleet (knee) sidelined, Siakam became the de facto floor general, compiling 12 of Toronto's 22 assists. He also snatched a team-high 11 boards, all while shooting 14-for-28 from the floor. Siakam has been on a tear to begin April, averaging 28.3 points and 10.5 rebounds, which would mark the first time in his career to average a double-double in a single month. If VanVleet remains sidelined Friday against the Rockets, Siakam could once again be thrust into a more significant all-around role.

Tue Mar 29 202210:41Pascal Siakam Records Season-High 40 Points In Win
Toronto Raptors power forward/center Pascal Siakam delivered a dominant 40-point effort during Monday's victory over the Celtics, all without the benefit of knocking down a triple. Siakam shot 17-for-29 overall -- including 0-for-4 -- from deep, before ultimately fouling out in the waning moments of overtime. While snagging 13 rebounds as well, it marked Siakam's 25th double-double of the year. Even as Toronto has slowly gotten their preferred starting five back into action, Siakam has continued to produce at an elite level, as he has averaged 26.9 points on 53.1% shooting during 15 contests in March.

Fri Mar 25 202209:18Pascal Siakam Ties Season High With 35-Point Effort Thursday
Toronto Raptors power forward/center Pascal Siakam had his entire offensive arsenal clicking in Thursday's win over the Cavaliers, as he tied his season high with 35 points. Siakam shot 12-for-20 overall, including 6-for-7 from deep, soaring past his previous yearly high of three made triples; the last time he knocked down six threes was Feb. 10, 2020. Even with a Most Improved Player Award already under his belt, Siakam has continued to elevate his production in '21-22, averaging 22.2 points and career bests of 8.3 boards and 5.1 assists, all while shooting 49 percent overall. He will jockey alongside Fred VanVleet and Scottie Barnes on a nightly basis for top offensive duties, but Siakam is wrapping up a month of enormous production where he has averaged 26.2 points over 13 outings thus far.

Sat Mar 5 202209:24Pascal Siakam Drops 34 Points In Double-Double During Defeat
Toronto Raptors power forward/center Pascal Siakam took the reins of the team's offense during Friday's loss to the Magic, finishing with 34 points and 14 rebounds, marking his 20th double-double of the year. With both Scottie Barnes and Gary Trent Jr. scuffling from the field, Siakam went 13-for-20, taking over No. 1 offensive option duties with Fred VanVleet (knee) sidelined. After a rough close to February, Siakam has found his rhythm again and should continue to enjoy an elevated fantasy upside for as long as VanVleet is sidelined. With that said, Siakam faces a difficult matchup Sunday vs. Cleveland, who ranks in the Top 5 in defensive efficiency this year and boasts ample length to combat his skill set.

Mon Feb 14 202221:08Pascal Siakam Returns After Brief Exit
Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam (eye) has returned to Monday's game against the New Orleans Hornets. The Raptors star was taken to the locker room in the second quarter of the game after being poked in the eye by the Pelicans' Herbert Jones on a drive the hoop. He instantly fell down after the play and went straight to the locker room. Luckily, he returned to the court just a few minutes later. Siakam has been aggressive offensively so far with a game-high 12 field goal attempts going into halftime.

He scored 24 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field and racked up 11 rebounds, eight assists, two three-pointers and a block. The Raptors have been leaning heavily on the 27-year-old lately. He's logged at least 40 minutes in six of his last seven games, including his 57-minute outing in the team's triple-overtime win over the Miami Heat in late January. By most measures, Siakam is having his best statistical season, averaging 21.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 47.7% from the field. Next up for Siakam and the Raptors is a favorable road matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.

Sat Jan 1 202208:54Pascal Siakam Produces A Big Line Against Clippers
Toronto Raptors power forward Pascal Siakam came up with a big line in Friday's 116-108 win over the Clippers, scoring 25 points and adding 19 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and two blocks. He shot 10-for-20 from the field and 4-for-9 at the charity stripe with one made three-pointer. Siakam has finally found some consistency lately, going for 25-plus points in three straight contests with some solid peripheral stats. The Raptors received frontcourt help on Friday, with Khem Birch and Precious Achiuwa returning to action, but Siakam still logged 40 minutes. He'll be battling some demons on Sunday against the Knicks after shooting just 3-for-18 from the field against them in his last appearance in the matchup.

Tue Dec 28 202118:08Pascal Siakam, Gary Trent Jr. Will Suit Up For Tuesday’s Game
Toronto Raptors center Pascal Siakam and shooting guard Gary Trent Jr. have been given the green light to take the floor for Tuesday's contest against the 76ers. Siakam missed the past two games due to the league's health and safety protocols, while Trent was sidelined for one contest due to the same circumstances. With Toronto still dealing with widespread injuries and absences, Siakam and Trent will garner significant DFS upside as the two go-to options on offense, even as they battle minutes restrictions. Siakam has enjoyed a tremendous December, averaging 21.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.7 assists across six contests, while Trent has served as both a three-point dynamo and steal extraordinaire in 2021-22, leading the league with 2.2 swipes per outing.
