Fri Jan 1910:42Jaren Jackson Jr. Scores 36 Points
Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. was seemingly unstoppable during Thursday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Unfortunately, Jackson got into foul trouble otherwise it could've been a career game for him. Jackson was limited to 27 minutes, but still made the most of it. He shot 15-of-23 from the floor for 36 points, while recording three rebounds, and one assist in the loss. Fantasy managers will take the high scoring game, but he looks to do more as a rebounder and defender against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday.

Mon Jan 1509:40Jaren Jackson Jr. Questionable For Clash With Warriors
Memphis Grizzlies forward/center Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) is considered questionable for Monday's matchup against Golden State. He's bothered by a right knee problem that has already kept Jackson Jr. out of the lineup twice in the last three games. With Memphis' season pretty much over already due to a number of injuries and bad results, it wouldn't be surprising to see the team keep Jackson Jr. off the court until he's fully healthy. The frontcourt injuries have made Xavier Tillman Sr. a very attractive fantasy piece, while GG Jackson also burst onto the scene at the weekend against the Knicks with a team-high 20 points and six rebounds off the bench.

Sat Jan 1318:28Jaren Jackson Jr. Unlikely To Play Saturday
Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) isn't expected to play on Saturday against the visiting Knicks. Ja Morant (shoulder) is done for the year, and Marcus Smart (finger) will miss at least six weeks. To make matters worse, Desmond Bane (ankle) won't suit up after tweaking his ankle on Friday night versus the Clippers, so the team will need to go deep into the rotation. As a result, Luke Kennard, David Roddy, Xavier Tillman Sr., Jacob Gilyard, Vince Williams Jr., and ... [More]

Thu Jan 1121:23Jaren Jackson Jr. Available For Friday's Game
Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Friday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Jackson will make his return after missing Tuesday's game due to a right knee contusion. The expectation is that Ziaire Williams and Xavier Tillman Sr. will see reduced roles in the rotation. However, Tillman should still have a fairly significant role with Bismack Biyombo being waived. Fantasy managers should expect Jackson to resume his normal role on Friday.

Mon Jan 820:18Jaren Jackson Jr. Questionable For Tuesday
Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) is currently listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. The stud forward appeared to be fine during his 32 minutes of playing time on Sunday. Fellow forward Santi Aldama (knee) is doubtful, which means David Roddy could be asked to enter the rotation and play a bigger role. However, Vince Williams Jr. would be the better streaming choice given how well he has been playing lately.

Sat Nov 4 202310:08Jaren Jackson Jr. Stuffs Stat Sheet Friday Night
Memphis Grizzlies forward/center Jaren Jackson Jr. put in a superb all-around performance in Friday's 115-113 overtime loss against Portland. He recorded 30 points on 11-for-17 shooting, posted his first double-double of the season by grabbing 10 rebounds, and capped off his line with three assists, one steal, and three blocks. Half of Jackson Jr.'s points came from downtown with 5-for-8 shooting. The 24-year-old boasts two 30-point performances in three games, and he's been a blocking machine as usual, averaging 2.5 swats for the year, but the Grizzlies are still winless six games into the season. Jackson Jr. was the starting center Friday for Memphis after David Roddy took Xavier Tillman Sr.'s spot in the unit. The team returns to action Sunday in a rematch against the Blazers, and Jackson Jr. showed on Friday that this matchup suits him perfectly, so we can expect to see another big performance from him.

Wed Oct 11 202307:49Jaren Jackson Jr. Aims To Improve His Rebounding
Memphis Grizzlies forward/center Jaren Jackson Jr. is focused on improving his rebounding after struggling on the glass during the FIBA World Cup. Jackson Jr. averaged a career-high 6.8 boards in the NBA last season but could only get 2.9 rebounds during the World Cup and took a lot of heat because of it. "(Rebounding) needs to be more of a staple of things I think about all the time," Jackson said. " It's on my mind, it's on my brain. You always think about things you can get better at. I have so many different responsibilities on the floor. That's a big one for our team." Jackson Jr.'s two-way ability has already made him a highly valuable fantasy asset, but he would become an even bigger piece if he can get close to averaging a double-double with rebounds.

Memphis Grizzlies center Jaren Jackson Jr. (calf) has been listed as doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. He's currently dealing with calf soreness while two other starters also are late additions to the injury report. This could turn into just a rest day for Jackson as this calf issue didn't look like too much of an issue on Tuesday. If he remains on the sidelines, then Xavier Tillman Sr. (ankle) will get a lot more playing time if he ends up playing. Santi Aldama could also be worth a look for a streaming option if Tillman is also out.
