Reimold is starting in center field for Saturday's game against the Blue Jays, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports.

This will be Reimold's major league debut at center field and he's obviously not going to stay there for long with Adam Jones healing up at the DH spot. Reimold did play 51 games at center in the minors, but that was back in 2008 when he was 24 years old. Basically, don't expect a fielding clinic.

Reimold is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Phillies, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.

This marks Reimold's second absence from the lineup in eight games since he was called up. He has five hits in 20 at-bats, with two home runs, five RBI, three runs and three walks. He could settle into a near-everyday role if he keeps hitting, but the Orioles would likely still give him semi-regular days off, as he's never had much luck staying healthy. There's also ample competition for at-bats, with the Orioles carrying six outfielders, not including DH Jimmy Paredes.

Reimold will make a fourth straight start in the outfield Sunday against the Yankees, Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun reports.

A steady stream of injuries prevented Reimold from becoming a viable everyday player during his first stint with the Orioles from 2009 through 2013, but he's trying to rewrite the script in his second go-around with the club. After impressing earlier this season at Triple-A Norfolk, Reimold's success has continued thus far through four games with the big club. He's gone 4-for-14 at the dish with a pair of homers and three RBI, which should afford him a regular spot in the lineup until he cools.

Reimold went 2-for-5 with a home run and a triple in Saturday's win over the Yankees.

Reimold has been in the lineup four out of five days since being called up and he has two home runs. Manager Buck Showalter has a habit of sticking with the hot bat, as he did with Steve Pearce last season and Jimmy Paredes earlier this season. Look for Reimold to continue to get consistent at-bats.

Reimold went 0-for-2 in his season debut with the Orioles Tuesday against the Red Sox.

The Orioles will find part time at-bats for Reimold, either in left field, right field or as the DH. Reimold is a favorite in the organization and he finally seems healthy. He hit .286/.351/.389 with two home runs and 12 doubles in 175 Triple-A at-bats before being called up.

Reimold has been called up from Triple-A Norfolk for Tuesday's game against the Red Sox, and he's batting sixth in the Baltimore lineup, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.

Although he's always struggled to stay healthy, Reimold is typically pretty productive at the plate when he's able to piece together more than a few games. He'll likely just work in a part-time role with the Orioles, given that the team currently has all of its key outfielders healthy.

Reimold will be called up from Triple-A Norfolk prior to Tuesday's game against the Red Sox, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.

The one-time top prospect for the Orioles has performed well in Triple-A this season, posting a .286/.351/.389 slash line across 175 at bats. He has struggled to stay on the field throughout his career but has been rewarded with numerous chances due to his great potential. Since it will be difficult to find playing time in the Orioles outfield, Reimold has limited fantasy value.

Reimold's legal team filed a negligent practice claim against Johns Hopkins Hospital relating to his neck surgery and subsequent rehabilitation in 2012-2013, MASN Sports reports.

The important thing is that everything related to this lawsuit relates to Reimold coming back from the surgery too early in 2013 when he appeared in 40 games. Reimold's neck injury is a thing of the past and the lawsuit does not relate to his current health status. Reimold had a good spring training, but he is part of a crowded outfield situation in Baltimore and he has begun the season at Triple-A. Reimold is 4-for-16 with a double and four walks. He has an opt-out clause in his current contract for July 11. If Reimold performs and cannot force his way into Baltimore's outfield picture by that time, he could look for a job with another team.

Reimold was assigned to minor league camp Saturday, CSN Baltimore reports.

Reimold's spring was particularly fruitful, as he batted .340 with two homers and nine RBIs across 24 Grapefruit League contests. However, with no options remaining, he would have to be subject to waivers, if he made the Opening Day roster and his spot eventually needed to be filled. As a result, expect Reimold to start the season at Triple-A Norfolk.

Reimold is among Baltimore's leaders in plate appearances this spring because manager Buck Showalter wants to know if he can contribute this year, MASN Sports reports.

The Orioles have taken a hard look at Reimold, even with an already crowded outfield situation that includes five outfielders that are as established or more established than Reimold. Unless the team makes a trade, it still appears that Reimold will start the season at Triple-A, assuming he accepts the assignment as a non-roster invitee this spring. However, it is worth noting that David Lough and Travis Snider have done nothing special at the plate this spring. Reimold is 10-for-32 and slashing .313/.425/.438 and that does not include a home run and a double that were erased by a rainout Friday.

The non-roster invitee has played in nine spring training games, but Reimold is still a long shot to make Baltimore's roster. Reimold could be primed to begin the season at Triple-A if he accepts the assignment. Other teams were interested in minor league deals for Reimold during the offseason, so he might be able to find a better opportunity on another team.

Reimold signed a minor league contract with the Orioles on Tuesday that includes an invite to spring training, Roch Kubatko of MASNsports.com reports.

Neck and calf issues limited Reimold to a mere 29 games between Toronto and Arizona last season, but the the Orioles, who drafted Reimold in the second round in 2005, will welcome him back on a minor league deal. The 31-year-old owns a respectable .251/.324/.439 batting line for his career but will need to really produce this spring to have a chance at a reserve role, with Delmon Young seemingly already locked into a roster spot.

Reimold reportedly has suitors for a minor league deal, but he may be holding out for a major league deal, according to MASN Sports.

Reimold was moved twice in 2014, from the Orioles to the Blue Jays, and then to Arizona. The Orioles are interested in a reunion, as he had been with the organization since being drafted in 2005. The Orioles are willing to ink a minor league deal, while Reimold is likely looking for the best path to playing time. Injuries are a concern, as Reimold has managed just 240 games between MLB and the minors since 2011.

Reimold has elected free agency.

In 29 games between Toronto and Arizona this season, Reimold went 16-for-69 (.232 average) with three homers, 13 RBI and five runs scored. He'll be 31 on Sunday, but Reimold is a .251/.324/.439 career hitter at the major league level and should at least receive a spring training invite from another club.

Reimold went 2-for-4 in his first game with the Diamondbacks, a 2-0 loss to the Rockies on Saturday.

Reimold was claimed off of waivers by the Diamondbacks on Thursday. He had a .212 average with two home runs in 52 at-bats with the Toronto Blue Jays this season. Although he won't be an every day starter, Reimold will give the Diamondbacks depth in the outfield.

Reimold will start in left field and bat eighth in his Diamondbacks debut Saturday.

The Diamondbacks brought Reimold in on a waiver claim after the Blue Jays cut bait earlier in the week. While Reimold hit just .212/.283/.404 in 22 games with Toronto, he's a .250/.324/.437 career hitter at the major league level and comes with minimal risk, as the team could just non-tender him in the offseason. With A.J. Pollock (hand) expected to return Monday, Reimold will likely be deployed primarily off the bench over the final month.

Reimold was claimed off waivers by the Diamondbacks on Thursday, Sportsnet's Ben Nicholson-Smith reports.

With Alfredo Marte holding down a regular gig in left field for the Diamondbacks despite a .209/.253/.360 batting line, Reimold could be thrust into a starting role immediately with his new club. Reimold's career has been sidetracked by injuries the past several season, but when healthy, he's shown some moderate pop in his bat in the past. The Diamondbacks will attempt to see if the 30-year-old can regain his form and become a useful piece for 2015.

Reimold was designated for assignment Tuesday.

Reimold was hitting just .212/.283/.404 this season over 22 games with the Blue Jays. He will now have to decide whether to accept the assignment or become a free agent, with the latter being the most likely option for him.

Reimold went 0-for-7 with five strikeouts and two walks in Sunday's extra-inning win over the Tigers.

Reimold got the start because the Tigers were starting lefty David Price. This game illustrated his downside as a hitter - he can run into a ball and hit for power when he does so, but he also will whiff at a prodigious rate.

Reimold hit a pair of solo homers in Thursday's 6-5 win at Houston.

Reimold's second home run of the game broke a 5-5 tie in the top of the ninth inning. He's shown flashes of power in the past, but he just doesn't play enough to be a major factor.
