Returned to Double-A, Corey Brown went 0-for-4 Monday in his first game back on Midland's roster.
There had to be some fallout from the addition of Jack Cust and waiver claim Jai Miller to Sacramento's roster, and the decision was made to send Brown, a 2007 supplemental first-round pick, back to the Texas League to relieve the logjam. Brown missed much of last season, but he still appeared ready for the challenge of Triple-A after hitting .268/.349/.488 in 66 games for Midland.
