C Manny Pina was available to pinch-hit Friday a day after he was hit in the left arm by a pitch. X-rays performed Thursday night came back negative and Pina reported to the park feeling good, manager Craig Counsell said. Pina is batting .298 this season, splitting time behind the plate with Jett Bandy.

RHP Asher Wojciechowski will start for the Reds on Tuesday against the Blue Jays, manager Bryan Price told reporters Friday. Wojciechowski threw 1/3 of an inning in Friday's win over the Phillies, allowing one earned run, two hits and a walk in his first appearance since May 20. The right-hander has not made a major league start this season.

CF Billy Hamilton stole two bases Friday night and now has 25 this season -- the best mark in baseball. Hamilton drew a leadoff walk to start the game and stole second and third before scoring on a Joey Votto groundout.

2B Jose Peraza extended his hitting streak to 12 games on Friday night. Peraza went 1-for-4 and knocked in two runs with a two-out single in the fifth inning. The 23-year-old is hitting .318 during the streak.

1B Lucas Duda went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, two doubles and a run scored. Over his past four games, he is 7-for-14 (.500) with seven RBIs and four runs scored.

RHP Rafael Montero was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas. He has struggled for the Mets, with an 0-4 record, and a 8.24 ERA in 19 2/3 innings. That includes allowing three runs on five hits over three innings Thursday when he started and threw 87 pitches in New York's 4-3 loss to San Diego.

RHP Jacob deGrom (4-1) got the win and nearly a complete game, going 8 1/3 innings. He allowed one run -- a homer by Gregory Polanco -- on six hits with 10 strikeouts and one walk. He also helped at the plate, going 2 for 4 with a couple of solid singles. Eighty of his 118 pitches were strikes. "You just saw location," manager Terry Collins said. "It was outstanding. He pitched outside corner, he pitched in, he used his breaking ball effectively."

2B Neil Walker, a Pittsburgh area native who played for the Pirates before a December 2015 trade to the Mets, was 3-for-5 with two homers and four RBIs. That pushed him to 501 career RBIs. "First one (Pittsburgh pitcher Chad Kuhl) tried to come in and (I) was able to just get out in front of it and get down the line," Walker said of his third-inning homer inside the foul pole in right. "Second one (I) just kind of grinded it out until it got to 3-2 and was able to lift a ball. Just trying to find a barrel."

NF/OF Brock Holt, suffering from vertigo, will not play in games, in the words of manager John Farrell, "for the foreseeable future" and will continue to travel with the club and do everything but play in games.

LHP Brian Johnson has been recalled from Pawtucket for the second time this season and starts against the Seattle Mariners in the second game of the series at Fenway Park Saturday. He picked up his first major league win back on April 18, allowing four runs in five innings against the Toronto Blue Jays and returns off four straight quality starts. "We've seen a gradual increase in stuff overall," manager John Farrell said Friday. "There's been better crispness, there's been consistent strike throwing, there's been the ability to put guys away with the breaking ball -- a slight uptick in velocity."

2B Dustin Pedroia, removed from Thursday night's game on a wet field because of left knee soreness, was again held out after a day of rain Friday. "I'm holding him out -- not going to take any further risks," said manager John Farrell, noting the knee has been surgically repaired.

DH Hanley Ramirez had two hits and scored a run and has hit safely in his last 16 home games and 22 of his 23 home starts overall. He has a .365 lifetime batting average in 16 career games against Seattle and has reached base in 40 of his last 41 games against the AL West.

CF Jackie Bradley Jr. threw out a runner at second base in the top of the second, his 16th assist since the start of last season (14 at home), tops in the major leagues. He then doubled in the bottom half and had 11 extra-base hits in seven career home games against the Mariners.

RHP Craig Kimbrel pitched a perfect ninth inning for his 13th save of the season and his 27th in a row at Fenway Park, two behind Tom Gordon's Fenway record. He has retired 55 of the last 59 hitters he's faced, including 35 of the last 37. A diving play by 1B Mitch Moreland kept right-handed hitters hitless (0-for-39) against Kimbrel.

LHP Eduardo Rodriguez turned in his seventh straight quality start and remained unbeaten since his first start of the season with six shutout innings in Friday night's 3-0 win over the Seattle Mariners. "It's just a matter of his abilities coming together," manager John Farrell said. "This has always been an extremely talented young guy. We've talked about his maturity, we've talked about his progression. It's been on display here for a good number of starts consecutively. He's in a very good place. Good to see him put it together."

RHP Chris Heston was claimed off waivers by the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was at Triple-A.

OF Scott Schebler hit his 14th home run of the season, which moved him into a tie for third on the list of major League home run leaders. Schebler, who had 12 career major league homers entering this season, belted a solo shot off Phillies starter Aaron Nola in the second inning. Schebler has four homers in his last six games.

3B Kyle Seager had a single and two walks to reach base three times for the sixth time this season. He has hit in six straight games and is a .318 lifetime hitter against the Red Sox, batting .364 over his last 31 games against Boston.

RHP Jake Buchanan was claimed off waivers Thursday, designated 1B/OF Peter O'Brien for assignment and moved LHP Amir Garrett to the 10-day disabled list with right hip inflammation. Buchanan was with the team in Friday's series opener in Philadelphia but did not pitch. Buchanan, who has made 24 career major league appearances, had a 1.50 ERA in two games with the Cubs this season.

OF Aaron Altherr knocked in a run with a double in the ninth inning of Friday's loss to Cincinnati. It was Altherr's 20th RBI of May, which is the most in the month for any Phillies player since Ryan Howard drove in 23 runs in May 2014.
