Tue Apr 26 202218:07Steven Kwan Remains Out On Tuesday
Cleveland Guardians outfielder Steven Kwan (hamstring) will miss his second straight game on Tuesday as the team faces Patrick Sandoval and the Los Angeles Angels. The 24-year-old rookie is currently hampered by right hamstring tightness. Ernie Clement will be covering Kwan's usual left field post for Tuesday's game. We don't know much about the severity of Kwan's hamstring issue at this point so fantasy managers should view him as being day-to-day for now.

Mon Apr 25 202218:05Steven Kwan Being Held Out On Monday
Cleveland Guardians outfielder Steven Kwan (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. The team is currently considering him day-to-day. While the 24-year-old has slowed down since his flaming hot start to the year, he still has a sturdy .341/.456/.500 slash line over 14 games on the year.

Sun Apr 24 202216:04Steven Kwan Exits With Hamstring Tightness On Sunday
Cleveland Guardians outfielder Steven Kwan (hamstring) was removed in the third inning of Sunday's game against the New York Yankees due to right hamstring tightness. Ernie Clement came in to replace Kwan in left field. Kwan certainly got banged up this weekend in the Bronx. He suffered a head injury in Saturday's game after colliding with the outfield wall. He was able to clear the league's concussion protocols and start Sunday's game, but now this hamstring injury has flared up. We don't know anything about the severity of the injury at this point, but more details should become available after the game.

Sun Apr 24 202212:20Steven Kwan In The Lineup Sunday
Cleveland Guardians outfielder Steven Kwan (head) cleared the league's concussion protocol and is starting in left field and hitting second on Sunday against New York Yankees right-hander Gerrit Cole. Kwan hit the outfield wall hard on Saturday in the ninth inning, but the 24-year-old rookie remained in the game after being checked out by a trainer. The left-handed hitter is off to a scorching start in his first 55 major league plate appearances, going 15-for-42 with no home runs, seven RBI and 10 runs scored in 13 games played. He has nine walks and six strikeouts. Kwan has a league-leading .473 on-base percentage, and fantasy managers may want to continue riding him while he's hot, but he'll have a tough matchup Sunday against Cole.

Mon Apr 11 202221:57Steven Kwan Red-Hot To Start The Year
Cleveland Guardians outfielder Steven Kwan went 1-for-3 with a triple, two walks, three RBI, and two runs in a 10-7 win over the Kansas City Royals on Monday. Kwan has been red-hot to start the season, going 9-for-13 with six runs, three RBI, and five walks in four games. The rookie outfielder has slid in nicely in the No. 2 spot in the Cleveland lineup despite this being his first taste of MLB pitching. He has shown a good eye at the plate and so far has been able to translate the excellent bat skills that he flashed in the minors to the big league level. Kwan is a strong waiver add in all fantasy leagues going forward.

Wed Apr 6 202218:18Steven Kwan To Start In Right Field For Season Opener
Cleveland Guardians outfield prospect Steven Kwan will make his MLB debut on Opening Day. He will be starting in right field in the game. The 24-year-old had a fantastic spring. Over 16 Spring Training games, he went 15-for-32 with two walks and zero strikeouts. Kwan has a history of being strikeout-averse. He only fanned 31 times over 77 minor league games at Double-A and Triple-A last year. He also showed a little bit of pop with 12 home runs over that 77-game stretch last year. In deep roto and head-to-head categories leagues where low strikeouts are highly-coveted, Kwan is a worthy add. He's also a solid add in AL-only leagues.
