If Harrison winds up on the injured list, then Tony Kemp could see more playing time, though likely not enough to justify a roster spot in fantasy as Elvis Andrus and Jed Lowrie are also in the mix for playing time on the infield.

The Washington Nationals have a deal in place to trade catcher Yan Gomes and infielder Josh Harrison to the Oakland Athletics, according to Jesse Dougherty of the Washington Post. Gomes had earlier been linked to Toronto, but now he'll head to Oakland where he'll figure to split time behind the plate with Sean Murphy. Gomes is slashing .271/.323/.454 with nine homers, 35 RBI and 30 runs scored this year, while Harrison is slashing .294/.366/.434 with six homers, five steals, 38 RBI and 39 runs scored. Both Gomes and Harrison figure to provide Oakland a boost off the bench, and should get enough starts to make them solid contributors in deeper formats.
