Thu Sep 1 202222:20Francisco Lindor Collects Two Hits, Steals A Bag Thursday
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor might be breaking out of his slump, as he went 2-for-4 with a double, a run, an RBI, and a stolen base in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Things weren't going right for the flashy infielder from August 23 to the 28 when he went a combined 0-for-17, but he's now five for his last 10. Across 131 games, Lindor is slashing .269/.346/.445 with 21 HRs, 81 runs, 86 RBI, and 15 SBs. He's a clear four-category contributor that provides a decent batting average making him a top shortstop in fantasy baseball.

Sat Aug 6 202214:19Francisco Lindor Going Off
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor has been hot, and that didn't change on Friday when he went 2-for-5 with a run during the 9-6 loss to the Atlanta Braves. Since July, the 28-year-old's batting .314 with seven home runs and a .946 OPS. Across 105 games this year, Lindor's slashing .262/.341/.456 with 19 HRs, 74 RBI, 65 runs, and 10 SBs. It seems he's put his lousy 2021 behind him and is once again a top fantasy shortstop hitting in the middle of the Mets lineup.

Thu Jun 23 202209:18Francisco Lindor Goes 2-For-4 In Wednesday's Loss
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles and a strikeout in the team's 5-3 loss to the Houston Astros on Wednesday. It was just his second multi-hit game of the month. June hasn't been kind to the 28-year-old veteran. Over 19 games this month, Lindor is slashing .197/.244/.329 with just four extra-base hits (three homers and a double). The cold stretch has taken his season-long slash line down to .243/.319/.412. Hopefully Wednesday's two-hit game can help him turn things around.

Fri Jun 3 202220:20Francisco Lindor Returns Friday
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor (finger) is back at shortstop and is hitting third on Friday against Los Angeles dodgers left-hander Tyler Anderson. Lindor smashed his finger in a hotel door on Thursday and didn't play, but he'll return a day later in Los Angeles. The 28-year-old reportedly has a small fracture in his finger, but he'll be able to play through it after the swelling went down. Lindor has been solid at the plate this year and should be returned to all starting fantasy lineups on Friday, but it'll be interesting to see if his finger injury affects his production. He's slashing .261/.345/.442 with eight home runs, 43 RBI, 37 runs scored and seven stolen bases in 199 at-bats this season.

Thu Jun 2 202220:02Francisco Lindor Out With Finger Injury
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor (finger) is not in the starting lineup on Thursday night against the Los Angeles Dodgers after closing a door on his right hand and injuring a finger, according to skipper Buck Showalter. Luis Guillorme will get the start at shortstop instead and will bat third against Dodgers right-hander Tony Gonsolin. Lindor's fantasy managers will reluctantly have to remove him from their lineups. The 28-year-old hit .375 with 20 RBI and 11 runs scored in his last 10 games and has a season-long .261/.345/.442 slash line with eight home runs, 43 RBI, 37 runs scored and seven stolen bases in 52 games. It's unclear if this injury will keep Lindor out of the lineup beyond Thursday's game.

Thu Jun 2 202216:25Francisco Lindor Compiles Five RBI In Series Against Nationals
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor helped the team complete a three-game sweep of the Washington Nationals on Wednesday. Across the three-game set, he went 5-for-13 with a stolen base and five RBI. By the time the calendar flipped from May to June last year, Lindor was slashing just .194/.294/.294 with four home runs and four stolen bases. So while his current stat line (.261/.345/.442 slash line, eight home runs, seven stolen bases) may be a bit underwhelming, we've seen him dig himself out of much larger holes in the past. He had a .989 OPS in July last year and a .933 OPS in September. So while he hasn't provided elite numbers quite yet in 2022, the best could be yet to come.

Mon May 23 202209:14Francisco Lindor Goes 2-For-4 In Sunday's Win
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor helped the team capture a 2-0 win over the Colorado Rockies on Sunday. He went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in the game. May hasn't been kind to Lindor so far. He's currently slashing just .192/.301/.282 across the month with only three extra-base hits (two home runs and a double). The 28-year-old has racked up six home runs, five stolen bases, 24 RBI and 27 runs over 43 games on the year. He has an average exit velocity of 88.7 mph, which is down from 90.7 mph last year. Lindor started off slow last year as well, so we expect better times ahead for him soon.

Fri May 13 202219:43Francisco Lindor Scuffling Through May
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor got off to a hot start in 2022, but his production has slowed significantly as the calendar has turned to May. In 46 at-bats this month, Lindor has just six hits. Two have gone for extra bases, including one home run, and he's stolen one base while striking out eleven times. He has a .233/.315/.395 slash line on the season, leaving plenty to be desired, but his five homers and four steals show just how much fantasy potential he still has if he can just find a way on base amidst this slump.

Fri Apr 29 202208:42Francisco Lindor Cutting Down Strikeouts In 2022
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor has been showing some improved plate discipline so far this year. Last season, he struck out 18.3% of the time, a career-high clip. Through 20 games this year, his strikeout rate is down to 14.6%, which is right around where it typically was during his days in Cleveland. Lindor is off to a nice start to the season overall, slashing .273/.360/.494 with four home runs, five doubles, three stolen bases, 13 RBI and 12 runs. He also has a .297 xBA and a .527 xSLG, suggesting there's some room for growth for him going forward.

New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor had a strong day at the plate in the team's 6-2 win over the San Francisco Giants on Thursday. He went 3-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored. He also attempted a steal, but he was thrown out. The 28-year-old is off to a great start to his second season in a Mets jersey. Over 14 games, he's slashing .308/.419/.615 with four home runs, three stolen bases, 10 RBI and 12 runs. After his strikeout rate ballooned up to 18.3% last year, it's been nice to see him only strike out seven times over the first two weeks of the 2022 campaign.

Sat Apr 9 202207:41X-Rays On Francisco Lindor Come Back Negative
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor (jaw) passed his concussion test and underwent x-rays on his jaw Friday that came back negative. After being hit in the face by a pitch, he exited Friday's win over the Washington Nationals in the top of the fifth inning. The 28-year-old went 0-for-1 with a walk, run scored, and a strikeout before exiting. Lindor appears to have avoided a significant injury and is considered day-to-day. Luis Guillorme replaced Lindor in Friday's game and is expected to see an uptick in at-bats while Lindor is sidelined. Stay tuned for further updates.

Fri Apr 8 202221:19Francisco Lindor Leaves After Hit By Pitch
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor was removed from his team's Friday night game against the Washington Nationals after getting hit in the face by a Steve Cishek pitch. Cishek hit Lindor during the fifth inning, prompting both teams' benches and bullpens to clear out. On the bright side, Lindor was able to exit the field on his own. Cishek was ejected from the game despite it not appearing to be intentional, but the Washington pitchers have already hit four Mets batters in just two games this series. Expect New York to update Lindor's status shortly after Friday's game ends.

Tue Mar 29 202221:57Francisco Lindor Launches His Fourth Spring Homer
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor has been one of the hottest hitters in the league this spring. In Tuesday's game against the Miami Marlins, he went 2-for-2 with a home run, a double, a walk and four RBI. Through six games, he's tallied nine hits (including four home runs) while slugging 1.211. Lindor was a major letdown for both the Mets and fantasy managers last year as he slashed .230/.322/.412 with 20 home runs, 10 stolen bases, 63 RBI and 73 runs over 125 games. We'll see if the 28-year-old can build off his strong spring and put together a bounce-back campaign in 2022.

Fri Oct 1 202114:02Francisco Lindor Launches Grand Slam
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor hit a grand slam Thursday as part of a six-run eighth inning in a 12-3 victory over the Miami Marlins. It was his only hit on the day as he went 1-for-4 with a walk. Lindor now has 25 RBI in September, a career-best mark for him. With a .738 OPS, 20 homers, 10 steals, 71 runs, and 63 RBI in 440 at-bats this season, Lindor still has plenty to offer, and fantasy managers may be able to get a bargain on draft day next year if he slips.

Wed Sep 29 202111:42Francisco Lindor Homers, Drives In Three In Game 1
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor drove in three runs in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Miami Marlins, going 2-for-4 with a home run and a run scored. He now has 19 home runs on the season, eight of which have come in his last 30 games. Lindor has managed to turn his season around after a dreadful start, slashing .240/.316/.496 in 121 at-bats since the All-Star break. He's far from the first-round pick he used to be, but fantasy managers may be able to get a bargain on Lindor in 2022 if his public struggles push him down draft boards.

Sat Sep 25 202110:19Francisco Lindor Goes Hitless On Friday
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor went 0-for-4 with an RBI in the Mets 5-1 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday. Lindor, who had been hot earlier in the month, has cooled off a bit to the tune of a .250/.300/.321 slash line over his past seven games with no home runs and just three RBI. Despite the poor recent stretch, Lindor is still in the midst of his most productive month of the season, where he has posted a .269/.370/.551 slash line with six home runs and 17 RBI. While it was certainly a down season for Lindor, he is a potential bounce-back candidate in 2022 given his turn-around in September.

Sat Sep 18 202109:40Two More Hits For Francisco Lindor On Friday
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor went 2-for-4 with a double and run scored in the Mets 4-3 loss to the Phillies on Friday. Lindor is now hitting .346/.485/.846 with four homers, six RBI, and eight runs scored over his last seven games. While it took a majority of the season for Lindor to find his way with his new ballclub, it appears he has finally broken out of his season-long funk with consistency, exemplified by a 1.038 OPS in September. Lindor has been able to raise his average to .231 on the season, to go with a .327 on-base percentage, 17 homers, and 52 RBI. While these are not eye-popping totals, Lindor lines up as a potential bounce-back candidate in 2022. Fantasy managers in redraft formats should keep him active over the final weeks of the season. Those managers in dynasty formats may want to target him in a trade while his value remains somewhat low, ahead of the 2022 campaign.

Tue Sep 14 202108:08Francisco Lindor Reaches Base Three More Times Monday
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor went 1-for-2 with two walks in the Mets 7-0 loss to the Cardinals on Monday evening. Lindor reached base three times the day after his huge three home run game against the Yankees on Sunday. Lindor has now posted an on-base percentage of .438 over his last seven games and raised his 2021 campaign slash line to .229/.326/.408 to go with 17 HR, 52 RBI, and 10 steals. While it has been a disappointing season overall for Lindor, he should remain active in all formats, particularly while he is hot.
