Tampa Bay Rays first baseman/outfielder Harold Ramirez (thumb) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham on Sunday. He took batting practice on Saturday and reportedly felt good. The 27-year-old has been sidelined since July 17 with a broken thumb. He slashed .329/.379/.446 with four homers and 35 RBI in 78 games before landing on the injured list. New York Mets starting pitcher Tylor Megill (shoulder) will throw a 15-pitch bullpen session on Sunday, according to Tim Healey of Newsday. The right-hander looked fantastic in April but faltered in the months of May and June, racking up a 5.01 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and .245 OBA through nine starts in 2022 as a whole. He will pitch out of the bullpen once he's ready to return to the big-league club.

New York Mets second baseman Jeff McNeil is back in the lineup on Saturday after exiting Friday's game with a right thumb laceration. He'll bat eighth against the Philadelphia Phillies. McNeil has put together a strong line in his age-30 season, slashing .306/.360/.446 with seven homers, 46 RBI, 24 walks, and 49 strikeouts. Most of his production has come against righties, so he should fare well against Aaron Nola on Saturday. McNeil deserves to be rostered in most fantasy leagues down the stretch.

Colorado Rockies right-handed reliever Alex Colome has been placed on the 15-day injured list with right lateral epicondylitis, which is more commonly known as tennis elbow. In his place, Justin Lawrence was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque. Colome owns a 4.68 ERA, 1.59 WHIP, and .292 OBA along with 5.95 K/9 and 3.61 BB/9 through 46 games (42.1 innings) this season. He has tallied seven holds, four saves, and three blown saves along the way.

San Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt isn't in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Tommy La Stella will start in his place, batting seventh and playing first base. Belt walked and scored during Friday's game, so this looks like it's a simple rest day rather than indication of an injury. The 34-year-old has struggled as of late, going 5-for-32 (.156) over his last 10 games. He should return to action on Sunday.

Seattle Mariners pitcher Matthew Boyd (elbow) is expected to make his first rehab outing of the season with Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday, according to Chris McCosky of Detroit News. He has yet to pitch at any level this season due to a flexor strain in his left elbow. The 31-year-old southpaw last pitched in 2021, filling a rotation role for Detroit. St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Jack Flaherty (shoulder) is scheduled to throw roughly 40 to 45 pitches in his next rehab outing at the Double-A level on Tuesday, according to Katie Woo of The Athletic. His last outing didn't go so well as he allowed three runs over just one inning of work. Injuries have plagued Flaherty for several seasons; he has thrown 125.2 innings over the last three years, including just eight in 2022. He hasn't lasted more than four innings in a single outing (majors or minors) since August 18, 2021. Flaherty's ongoing recovery poses a headache for fantasy managers, who now might have to wait until at least September before he returns to an MLB mound.

St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Juan Yepez (forearm) continues to play in rehab outings at the Triple-A level in hopes of returning to the big-league club on Tuesday, according to John Denton of MLB.com. Yepez will play six innings in right field on Saturday, then another six or nine innings on Sunday. The Cardinals would love to have the 24-year-old back in the majors, where he had been slashing .254/.298/.459 with 11 homers, 27 RBI, 14 walks, and 53 strikeouts through 62 games.

San Francisco Giants catcher Joey Bart (ankle), who hasn't played since Monday, isn't in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Austin Wynns will start in his place, batting ninth and suiting up behind the dish. Bart was available as an emergency catcher Friday, so one would imagine that remains the case heading into the weekend. Manager Gabe Kapler sounded optimistic that Bart would be back in the starting lineup this weekend, so fantasy managers might get him back on Sunday. The 25-year-old backstop is slashing .214/.305/.393 with 19 homers, 17 RBI, 19 walks, and 76 strikeouts this season. He has swung a better bat as of late, going 9-for-20 (.450) with two homers and three RBI over his last five games.

Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert (wrist) isn't in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Detroit Tigers. Instead, AJ Pollock will take his place, leading off and patrolling center field. Robert exited Friday's game with a sprained wrist, and although it's not ideal to see him sitting out Saturday, the good news is that he hasn't been placed on the injured list yet. The 25-year-old has made his presence felt once again this season, slashing .301/.336/.454 with 12 homers, 56 RBI, 15 walks, 65 strikeouts, and 11 stolen bases. Fantasy managers should check back on his status Sunday morning.

Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Kyle Schwarber (calf) is absent from Saturday's starting lineup against the New York Mets. Matt Vierling will fill his void, batting ninth and playing left field. Schwarber, 29, hasn't played since Thursday against Miami. He is slashing .211/.314/.501 with 34 homers, 69 RBI, 59 walks, and 144 strikeouts this season. Despite his low average and high strikeout rate, Schwarber has made a strong fantasy impact with his impressive power. He should continue to be rostered in all leagues, and fantasy managers should check on his injury status Sunday morning.

Houston Astros relief pitcher Ryan Pressly (neck) is unavailable to pitch during Saturday's game against the Oakland Athletics. Manager Dusty Baker will give Pressly the day off as he deals with a neck issue. This doesn't sound like the type of issue that is going to cost Pressly a trip to the injured list. Fantasy managers should consider Pressly day-to-day until further notice. Right-hander Hector Neris is expected to take the mound, assuming the Astros need a closer for this game.

Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Tyler Mahle recorded his first victory since being dealt from the Cincinnati Reds at the trade deadline, going six shutout innings, allowing three hits and two walks while striking out six. The right-hander has posted a subpar 4.26 ERA, although he owns 3.40 FIP with a 25.8% strikeout rate and 1.21 WHIP over 21 starts. Mahle should improve his numbers after the move from hitter-friendly Great American Ballpark with his strong underlying numbers. Fantasy managers would be wise to add the 27-year-old if he's available on the waiver wire.

Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Blake Treinen (shoulder) fired a perfect inning during Friday's minor league rehab game with Triple-A Oklahoma City. It only took him nine pitches to retire all the batters he faced on Friday. The expectation is that he'll need a few more outings before he's ready to return to the Dodgers bullpen. He's expected to serve as the primary setup option behind Craig Kimbrel. His return won't mean much for fantasy baseball, but it's a big addition to the Dodgers bullpen.
