Crabbe was traded to the White Sox on Thursday for a player to be named or cash consideration, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Crabbe, the first pick of the 2014 Triple-A Rule 5 draft, has spent the bulk of the season at Triple-A Reno, where he's 1-0 with a 5.50 ERA and 1.835 WHIP across 34.1 innings. He'll likely report to the same level as a member of the White Sox organization.
