CF Ender Inciarte was 3-for-4 with a walk on Tuesday and is 7-for-8 for the series. On the current homestand, Inciarte is 14-for-31 (.451). He is hitting .345 (38-for-110) over his past 25 games.

C Kurt Suzuki was 3-for-4 on Tuesday, his fourth multi-hit game this season. Suzuki had a double and an RBI, giving him seven hits and seven RBIs in his past three starts. Suzuki and teammate Tyler Flowers major league catching duos with a combined batting average of .320.

RHP R.A. Dickey received no decision on Tuesday when he started on three days' rest for the ninth time in his career. He kept the game close by working around 11 hits and three walks. He went six innings and gave up three runs, one on a home run.

RHP Julio Teheran will try to rectify his problems at home when he faces the Pirates on Wednesday. In four road starts, Teheran is 2-0 with a 0.71 ERA. However, when he pitches at SunTrust Park, he is 1-4 with a 10.50 ERA. In his last outing at home on May 18, Teheran gave up nine runs in three innings against the Toronto Blue Jays. He is 3-1 with a 3.00 ERA in eight career appearances, seven starts, against Pittsburgh. He received no decision against the Pirates on April 9, allowing two unearned runs over seven innings.

RHP Josh Ravin was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City to make room for INF Logan Forsythe to return from the disabled list. Ravin did not make an appearance with the Dodgers.

INF/OF Chris Taylor, who will back up Chase Utley at second base and Logan Forsythe at third base, fielded fly balls in left field before the Tuesday game. Taylor will start in left field in the near future, manager Dave Roberts said.

CF Joc Pederson (neck strain) left the Tuesday game in the 10th inning after colliding with RF Yasiel Puig chasing a fly ball. His availability for the Wednesday game was unknown.

C Yasmani Grandal hit a first-inning home off Cardinals RHP Lance Lynn for his fifth long ball of the season. Four of Grandal's homers have occurred at Dodger Stadium. Grandal, who went 1-for-4 with a walk, has hit safely in 14 of 15 games since May 3. During the stretch, Grandal is batting .411 with two home runs and 14 RBIs.

LHP Clayton Kershaw was cruising along and appeared to have victory in hand before throwing a two-base wild pitch in the ninth inning. Kershaw gave up a leadoff single to Cardinals LF Randal Grichuk in the ninth. Grichuk advanced to second on a groundout by PH Tommy Pham and scored on Kershaw's wild pitch that C Yasmani Granal was unable to retrieve before Grichuk scored, forcing extra innings. Kershaw fanned 10 with no walks on three hits in nine innings but did not factor into the decision.

INF Logan Forsythe (broken toe, strained hamstring) came off the disabled list earlier in the day and became a savior in extra innings against the Cardinals. Forsythe hit a walk-off double in the 13th inning, lifting the Dodgers to a 2-1 victory. Forsythe, who missed more than a month, fanned four times before drawing a walk in the 11th inning. He delivered the game-winning hit off RHP Jonathan Broxton after INF/OF Enrique Hernandez walked. "You try not to focus on the negatives during the game," said Forsythe, who earned his second career walk-off and first since June 5, 2012, against the San Francisco Giants, when he was a member of the San Diego Padres. "The swings didn't feel too bad. Something was a tick off."

LHP Tyler Lyons was activated from the 10-day disabled list Tuesday, returning from a right intercostal strain. Lyons has a 3.00 ERA in two games this season. He had been out since May 2.

SS Aledmys Diaz smacked a leadoff double, his ninth two-bagger of the season, off Dodgers LHP Clayton Kershaw in the sixth inning. However, the Cardinals failed to cash it in, and Kershaw retired the next three batters. Diaz has hit in eight of his past 10 games, batting .293 with three doubles and an RBI since May 10.

C Yadier Molina went 1-for-5 and extended his hitting streak to 12 games on Tuesday. Molina is batting .278 with two home runs and five RBIs during the streak.

LF Randal Grichuk exhibited his speed by scoring the tying run in the ninth inning from second base on a wild pitch by Dodgers LHP Clayton Kershaw to force extra innings. Grichuk went 1-for-4.

RHP Lance Lynn delivered a solid performance and matched LHP Clayton Kershaw's for much of the Tuesday contest. Neither pitcher factored into the decision, but it was entertaining to watch the duel. "This one was pretty special," Cardinals manager Mike Matheny said of the duel. Lynn struck out 10, walked two and yielded two hits in eight innings on 123 pitches, 76 strikes. The lone run he allowed was a solo home run to C Yasmani Grandal in the first inning. Lynn recorded his ninth game with at least 10 strikeouts and his first since May 1, 2015, against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

RHP David Phelps was placed on the bereavement list Tuesday because of a death in his family and missed Miami's 11-9 victory at Oakland. He will rejoin the Marlins on Friday night for the opener of a three-game series against the Angels at Marlin Park. Phelps is 2-2 with a 3.68 ERA in 20 relief appearances.

C Anthony Recker, designated for assignment by the Braves on Saturday, cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Gwinnett. He went 1-for-7 with one run in seven games for Atlanta earlier this season.

RHP Jesse Hahn (1-4) left Tuesday night's game against Miami at the Oakland Coliseum in the top of the third inning with a right triceps strain. Hahn gave up five runs on seven hits over two-plus innings, striking out two without issuing a walk. The velocity on Hahn's fastball in the third had a decided drop, from its regular 93-95 mph to 90. He gave up a single to Christian Yelich and fell behind 2-1 in the count to Marcell Ozuna in the third. At that point, trainer Nick Paparesta and manager Bob Melvin came to the mound, and Hahn left the game. "I wasn't feeling anything out there," Hahn said of pain. "It was kind of weird. I was trying to throw the ball as hard as I can and look up and see 89 (mph) on the board. I know something isn't right." A's manager Bob Melvin said Hahn "felt great" before the game and had a good bullpen. "It just got a little tight on him." If Hahn has to miss a start, the A's could recall RHP Jharel Cotton from Triple-A Nashville. Cotton began the season as the No. 3 starter in Oakland's rotation but was sent down on May 11.

1B Yonder Alonso hit his 13th home run of the season on Tuesday night, a leadoff shot in the second inning of an 11-9 loss to Miami. Alonso tied Khris Davis for the team lead home runs, but he was also hit by a pitch from LHP Jarlin Garcia in his right hand in the sixth. He finished the sixth inning then left the game with contusions on his right hand and wrist. X-rays were negative. "It's a little sore but its good," said Alonso, who returned to the lineup after missing four games with a strained left knee. "I got to see how I feel during the night. I think we got very lucky. Lucky there were no breaks."

RHP Scott Feldman struck out the first five batters he faced Monday night. He wound up allowing one run and four hits in six innings. It was the kind of outing the Reds, and in particular their bullpen, desperately needed. They key for Feldman is stringing a few of those together. "He's got that big breaking ball and he used it," Reds manager Bryan Price said on Tuesday. "It's nothing mechanical. He just has to have the full arsenal. Scott's been willing to hear what (pitching coach) Mack (Jenkins) and the catchers are telling him, and he has the physical ability and the aptitude to utilize it." Feldman is 3-4 with a 3.99 ERA in 10 starts.
