Manager Joe Girardi said Judge would "absolutely" play at least one game in Wednesday's doubleheader against the Cleveland Indians. Girardi is resting Judge to help get refreshed and possibly recover from a difficult hitting slump. Since the All-Star break, Judge is hitting .179 (26-for-145) with seven homers, 16 RBIs and 65 strikeouts. "Sometimes you just hope it refreshes a guy," Girardi said. "They can sit back and relax and maybe take a little bit off their plate and they can get going again. It's worked a lot for a lot of guys. I can't tell you exactly what's going to happen, but physically I think he's going to feel a lot fresher than he probably did and you hope mentally he does."
