1B Miguel Cabrera hit his third home run of the month and first since July 15 when he slammed a hanging slider from reliever Brad Peacock near the flagpole in the visitor's bullpen in left-center leading off the fifth. That's not to say his slump is over, though, as he came up with runners on second and third and one out in the first and took a 90 mph fastball for a third struck. He grounded into a weak force play in the second and struck out on an 0-2 slider to end the game.
