In any case, Wilson maintains a 3.60 ERA and 1.34 WHIP in 35 innings pitched this season. One thing that Wilson doesn't do is strikeout batters, as he has just 12 this season.

Wilson has been confirmed as the starter for Wednesday's game, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.

As expected, Wilson will take the hill Wednesday, despite being hit hard in his last start Friday against Tampa Bay. Over 4.1 innings, Wilson allowed six runs on eight hits with two walks and only one strikeout.

With the Tides' Triple-A season coming to a close Monday night, Wilson will return to Baltimore to add depth over the final few weeks of the regular season. In six appearances (two starts) for Baltimore in 2015, Wilson holds a 2.19 ERA, allowing six earned runs on 24 hits across 24.2 innings.

Wilson (oblique) was activated from the DL at Triple-A Norfolk on Thursday, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.

Wilson will remain at the Triple-A level for now with the possibility that he could make a rehab start before being called up to Baltimore. The 25-year-old is a candidate to make a few starts for the Orioles down the stretch, but he could also be used out of the bullpen.
