1B Jose Abreu returned to first base Thursday after filling the designated hitter role for four games while dealing with an elbow injury. Abreu had been throwing over the last couple days and showed enough improvement to get back into the field. Abreu homered in his first at-bat Thursday night. He passed A.J.
