DH Edwin Encarnacion entered Wednesday's doubleheader with three hits in his previous 29 at-bats. He did not play in the first game but hit his 31st homer in the second game. It is the sixth straight season that Encarnacion surpassed 30 homers. He also hit 10 homers this month. He is the first Indians hitter to post double-digit homers in a month since Travis Hafner slugged 13 in August 2006.
