CHICAGO (AP) — White Sox third baseman Yoán Moncada has been pulled from a game with right hamstring tightness.Moncada left after the first inning against the New York Mets on Tuesday night. The team said he is day to day. He was replaced at third and in the cleanup spot by Ryan Goins.Moncada made one play, throwing out Wilson Ramos on a soft grounder to end the first inning. He did not bat.The 24-year-old Moncada entered batting .301 with 20 homers and 59 RBIs. KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Chicago White Sox have placed rookie outfielder Eloy Jiménez on the 10-day injured list with an ulnar nerve contusion in his right arm.The move comes a day after Jiménez collided with outfielder Charlie Tilson in the first inning Tuesday against the Kansas City Royals. In the hours after the game, Jiménez was experiencing numbness down his arm and into his fingers.Jiménez will rejoin the team in Tampa Bay this weekend after flying home to Chicago for a full evaluation. He'll be re-evaluated Monday, and the organization is optimistic Jiménez could only miss a couple of weeks.The 23-year-old is batting .244 with 17 home runs and 39 RBIs.The White Sox purchased the contract of infielder Ryan Goins to replace Jiménez. BALTIMORE (AP) — The Kansas City Royals have taken a 10-run, first-inning lead over the Baltimore Orioles after hitting four homers before making an out.The brunt of the Royals' outburst at Camden Yards came against Dylan Bundy, who yielded seven runs without retiring a single batter.After Jon Jay hit a leadoff single, Jorge Soler, Mike Moustakas and Salvador Perez connected in succession.Bundy then walked the next two batters before Alex Gordon hit a shot over the right-field wall to end Bundy's outing.Mike Wright and gave up a single before the ninth batter, Ryan Goins, flied out.
