CINCINNATI (AP) — The Reds' worst start since the Great Depression prompted a quick hook for Bryan Price.Cincinnati fired its fifth-year manager on Thursday because of a 3-15 start, the first managerial change in the major leagues this season. Freeman said the ball hit one-half inch from where he was hit by a pitch last season, causing a fracture that forced him to miss seven weeks.A CT scan on Thursday confirmed the good news for Freeman. Freeman missed seven weeks in 2017 after fracturing his left wrist when hit by a pitch at about the same spot. He hit .200 (3 for 15) in five spring games with the Yankees.The 34-year-old Lind batted .303 with 14 homers and 59 RBIs in 116 games with Washington last season.
