Tue Jun 17 201400:31Reid Brignac triples in two
Reid Brignac went 3-for-6 with a two-run triple against the Braves on Monday.
The triple came off a tired reliever after the game was essentially over, but who cares? It gave him seven RBI in his last five games, as he's taken over the Phillies' primary third baseman with Cody Asche out. He's about to return to a utility role, but one imagines he's content with a bench job and a major league salary after all of the bouncing around of the previous couple of years.

Wed Jun 11 201422:06Brignac hits walk-off three-run homer vs. SD
Reid Brignac went 1-for-4 with a walk-off three-run home run in Wednesday's win over the Padres.
The Padres and Phillies battled for offensive futility supremacy, but Brignac snapped it with his walk-off blast against reliever Nick Vincent. It's his second walk-off hit for the Phillies despite having taken only 47 trips to the plate. The third baseman, filling in for the injured Cody Asche, has a home run and five runs batted in along with a .220/.304/.341 slash line, but is irrelevant for fantasy purposes.

The game-winning hit was set up when Chris Young dropped a fly ball off the bat of Marlon Byrd to begin the inning. Brignac, who made the start at third base, went 2-for-5 with two walks and two strikeouts on the evening.

Fri Mar 22 201320:07Brignac homers, knocks in four in win
Reid Brignac had a huge day at the plate Friday, going 3-for-3 with a home run and four RBI in a 14-9 win over the Rangers.
Brignac delivered a pair of RBI singles and a two-run homer. He entered Friday's action with just three hits in 18 at-bats this spring. That he's out of options will help his case of making the Opening Day roster, but the Rockies could still decide to go in another direction with their bench.
