Thu Aug 12 202108:40Huascar Ynoa Strikes Out Seven In Rehab Start
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Huascar Ynoa (hand) had a mixed bag rehab outing at Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday. He pitched 4 2/3 innings and allowed four hits, four walks and three earned runs while striking out seven. He threw 83 pitches in the outing. While the walks and runs are certainly concerning, it's good to see the strikeouts and the pitch total. Ynoa has been sidelined since the middle of May after fracturing his hand. However, Wednesday's outing suggests he should be close to returning to the Braves rotation. If he's available in your fantasy league, now is a good time to grab him. Over nine games (eight starts) with the Braves this year, he has gone 4-2 with a 3.02 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP.

Fri Aug 6 202119:32Huascar Ynoa Moving To Gwinnett
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Huascar Ynoa (hand) was promoted to Triple-A Gwinnett and will be in the lineup on Friday night against Charlotte. The 23-year-old has been out for months now because of a fractured right hand. However, after making appearances in Single-A, it now appears as if Ynoa could be back on the big league bump within the next few weeks. The righty owns a 4-2 record and a 3.02 ERA throughout eight starts, so fantasy managers looking to make a late-season playoff push should scoop him up before it's too late.

Mon Aug 2 202110:18Huascar Ynoa Gets Lit Up During Rehab Start
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Huascar Ynoa (hand) was not sharp during his rehab start in Single-A Rome on Sunday. He only pitched two innings, eight hits allowed, six runs allowed, while striking out two. The most important thing is that Ynoa is healthy and back on the mound. He has been sidelined since mid-May due to a fractured hand. Ynoa holds a 3.02 ERA with 50 strikeouts through 44.7 innings with the Braves this season. He could be someone worth stashing for a fantasy playoff run, but we'll see how Ynoa progresses.

Wed Jul 28 202119:59Huascar Ynoa To Head For Rehab Assignment
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Huascar Ynoa (hand) will head for a minor league rehab assignment Sunday after his simulated game on Tuesday went well, according to The Athletic. Ynoa will be stretched out to start again but manager Brian Snitker said that plan could change based on need. Ynoa has been out since the middle of May after breaking his hand when he punched a bench in the dugout after a rough outing. Prior to the injury though, he was putting up great numbers by going 4-2 with a 3.02 ERA, 1.052 WHIP and 27.9 percent strikeout rate over 44 2/3 innings. He's still a ways away from returning, but managers may want to look at stashing him on the IL now, as he could be productive for teams during the fantasy playoffs.
