Coach Mike Zimmer stated Saturday that Robison (chest) is ready for the start of training camp, Matt Vensel of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Robison injured his pectoral during offseason workouts, which forced absences at the Vikings' offseason program. He must pass a physical in order to participate in the first day of training camp Sunday, but all signs point to his availability off the bat. The 31-year-old cobbled together a subpar season last fall, posting 25 tackles (18 solo) and 4.5 sacks in 16 games.

Vikings defensive coordinator George Edwards said Robison (pectoral) will probably be ready for the start of training camp, Matt Vensel of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Robison will seemingly miss OTAs and minicamp after suffering a pectoral injury while working out. His Week 1 availability doesn't seem to be in question, but it apparently isn't a sure thing that he'll be ready for the start of training camp. Coming off a disappointing 4.5-sack, 24-tackle season, Robison is expected to start at left defensive end. He averaged 8.5 sacks and 39.3 tackles from 2011 to 2013.

Thu May 14 201516:37Robison suffered pectoral injury while working out Thursday
Robison suffered a pectoral injury while working out Thursday, Peter Schrager of FOX Sports reports.
A torn pectoral would threaten Robison's Week 1 availability, while anything less would likely be a non-issue by the time training camp rolls around. The 32-year-old had just 4.5 sacks in 2014, after recording eight or more in each of the previous three seasons. Robison started 63 out of a possible 64 games the past four years, and he's slated to start across from Everson Griffen in 2015.

Robison (glute) had a sack and two total tackles in Sunday's win over Washington.
He missed a day of practice with a bad bruise on his backside, but it didn't appear to limit him during Sunday's game. Robison has just 3.5 sacks, but he could get more the second half with opposing offensive lines needing to focus on rising talents Everson Griffen and Anthony Barr.
Sun Nov 2 201411:33Robison (glute) active for Sunday's game against Washington
Robison (glute) is active for Sunday's game against Washington.
Robison's glute is not expected to hold him back Sunday. He has just 1.5 sacks this season, but the Vikings' defense as a whole has been excellent at getting to the passer, so maybe Robison's turn to get in on the action will come soon.

Robison (glue) was a full participant in Friday's practice and is probable against Washington.
Robison has just 1.5 sacks this season despite the defensive line overall putting up strong sack totals, so he may be a candidate to get more sacks if defenses focus on Everson Griffen (who has eight sacks). It doesn't look like Robison's injury will be a concern this weekend.

Robison, who missed Wednesday's practice with a glute injury, was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Sat Mar 29 201421:04Brian Robison expected to stay at left end
The St. Paul Pioneer Press confirms Brian Robison will remain at left end this season.
Robison graded out as a top-ten 4-3 pass rusher by Pro Football Focus last year, but will continue to get the majority of his snaps at left end with Everson Griffen taking over for Jared Allen. The Vikings also added depth to their defensive line by signing Corey Wootton, who figures to see playing time behind Robison as a situational run stopper.

Vikings DE Brian Robison (shoulder) is officially questionable, but expects to play in Sunday's season finale against the Packers.
"I'm sure Sunday it's going to be painful," Robison said on Friday. "But bottom line is we're trying to clinch a playoff spot and we need all hands on deck." Robison suffered a Grade 3 sprain of the AC joint in his right shoulder on Dec. 16 at St. Louis and sat out last weekend's win at Houston, which set up Sunday's win-and-in situation against the Packers at the Metrodome. Coach Leslie Frazier said he'd ultimately lean on Robison to make the decision.

Vikings DE Brian Robison (shoulder) returned to practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Week 16.
"We'll talk a little bit more about how we want to proceed with him. But he did enough in practice (Friday) to create some encouragement amongst our staff and his teammates as well," said coach Leslie Frazier. Robison suffered a Grade 3 sprain of his right shoulder in last weekend's win at St. Louis. He left the locker room in a sling and didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday. If Robison sits, Everson Griffin will start at left end.
