Myers secured both of his targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 38-31 victory over the Jaguars.
Myers continues to put together serviceable performances in place of the injured Austin Seferian-Jenkins. The veteran tight end managed to actually get downfield on both of his Week 5 receptions, with the pair of catches totaling 17 yards apiece. There is a good chance that Seferian-Jenkins returns to his starting role in Week 7 following the Bucs' bye, which would reduce Myers' already scant opportunities in the offense.

Myers secured one of three targets for eight yards in Sunday's 37-23 loss to the Panthers.
Myers was a distant sixth option for Jameis Winston on Sunday, with even Doug Martin and Charles Sims receiving more targets. The veteran tight end continues to keep the seat warm for starter Austin Seferian-Jenkins while he recovers from his shoulder injury.

Myers, starting in place of the injured Austin Seferian-Jenkins, played 41 snaps in Week 3 against the Texans, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Myers easily paced all Bucs tight ends in targets, serving as the clear replacement for the sidelined Austin Seferian-Jenkins. Third-string tight end Luke Stocker received only 25 snaps on Sunday, and this division of labor will likely be the norm until Seferian-Jenkin's return. Myers secured three of the four targets that went his way against Houston, and figures to serve as a valuable check-down option for rookie quarterback Jameis Winston.

Myers secured three of four targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 19-9 loss to the Texans.
Myers began what is expected to be a multiple-week starting assignment in place of the injured Austin Seferian-Jenkins. The veteran tight end figures to play a security blanket role underneath for rookie quarterback Jameis Winston, much as he did on Sunday. Myers long reception went for 10 yards, and he will continue to operate within close proximity of the line of scrimmage while the team's top three wideouts stretch the field.

Myers barely registered a blip on the Bucs' offensive radar screen in Sunday's 42-14 loss to the Titans, participating in only six of the team's 74 offensive snaps, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
It was a far cry from last year's opener, when Myers barely left the field, participating in 80 percent of the Bucs' plays that afternoon. However, the diminished role is a sign of the times in Tampa, with the veteran tight end clearly set to play a secondary role to second-year hopeful Austin Seferian-Jenkins. Myers will serve as valuable insurance and still provides sure hands and savvy route running when called upon, but Seferian-Jenkins' remarkable physical ability should keep him firmly entrenched atop the depth chart, barring injury.

Myers agreed to a two-year contract extension with the Buccaneers at the conclusion of the 2014 season, Greg Auman of USA Today reports.
Myers was set to make $2.25 million next season before taking a pay cut to add a year that will keep him in Tampa through 2016. The well-traveled 29-year-old tight end made 22 catches for 190 yards and zero touchdowns in 2014. He is utilized primarily as a blocking tight end and will retain his role as the team hopes Austin Seferian-Jenkins will emerge as its primary pass-catching tight end.
Sun Dec 14 201411:45Myers (calf) active for Sunday's matchup against Panthers
Myers (calf) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Panthers.
Myers missed back-to-back contests with the calf ailment, but will suit up Sunday after logging full practices Thursday and Friday. With Austin Seferian-Jenkins (back) ruled out, Myers will join Luke Stocker and Cameron Brate in the committee of Buccaneers tight ends.
Fri Dec 12 201415:28Myers (calf) probable for Sunday's game against Carolina
Myers (calf) is probable for Sunday's game against Carolina.
Myers is a surer thing for Sunday than Austin Seferian-Jenkins (back, questionable), but it's hard to get too excited about any Buccaneers on offense not named Mike Evans or Vincent Jackson. Myers has 18 catches for 169 yards and no touchdowns on 22 targets this year.
Thu Dec 11 201419:13Myers (calf) practiced fully Thursday
Myers (calf) practiced fully Thursday, the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Tampa Bay's tight end corps took another step to achieving full strength, as Austin Seferian-Jenkins remains the sole limited participant in drills. If Seferian-Jenkins is unable to achieve enough health for a substantial workload Sunday at Carolina, Myers and Luke Stocker would earn the majority of the TE snaps.
Wed Dec 10 201421:06Myers (calf) practiced on limited basis Wednesday
Myers (calf) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, the Buccaneers' official site reports.
After missing all practices the past two weeks, Myers' chances of suiting in Week 15 at Carolina have improved dramatically with an appearance in drills. Moreover, fellow tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (back) joined him as a limited participant, meaning the Buccaneers' TE corps could return to full strength Sunday for the first time in weeks.
Sun Dec 7 201411:43Myers (calf) inactive for Sunday's matchup against Lions
Myers (calf) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Lions.
Myers didn't see the practice field all week, and as a result, will take a seat for the afternoon contest, along with fellow tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (back). With the two aforementioned options on the shelf, look for Luke Stocker to see an increased snap count at the tight end position.

Myers (calf) did not practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions.
After missing practice all week, Myers seems unlikely to play Sunday despite the questionable tag. Austin Seferian-Jenkins sat out all week as well, so we may see a lot of Luke Stocker at tight end for Tampa Bay on Sunday.
Wed Dec 3 201415:10Myers (calf) didn't participate in practice Wednesday
Myers (calf) didn't participate in practice Wednesday, Jenna Laine of Sports Talk Florida reports.
Myers was joined on the sideline by rookie Austin Seferian-Jenkins (calf), leaving Luke Stocker (concussion) as the sole returnee to practice Wednesday. Their statuses are subject to change so early in the week, but Myers' inability to take part in drills for a second week in a row doesn't bode well for his Week 14 availability.
Sun Nov 30 201411:47Myers (calf) listed as inactive Sunday against Bengals
Myers (calf) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Bengals, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
After failing to participate in practice all week, Myers' first DNP of 2014 is no surprise. Because rookie Austin Seferian-Jenkins (back) and Luke Stocker (concussion) are also out of commission, D.J. Williams and Cameron Brate exist as Tampa Bay's sole healthy tight ends in Week 13.
Fri Nov 28 201415:19Myers (calf) questionable for Sunday's game against Cincinnati
Myers (calf) is questionable for Sunday's game against Cincinnati.
Myers didn't practice at all this week, so at a glance it's hard to see him playing Sunday. Austin Seferian-Jenkins (back) is also questionable for Sunday, but he seems like a better bet to play after practicing in a limited capacity all week. If either player sits, the Buccaneers might need to sign a tight end before Sunday.

Myers is dealing with a calf injury suffered in Sunday's game against the Bears, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Myers apparently felt the calf tighten up on him while running a route in the afternoon contest, and required a walking boot for the next couple of days. Although he's said he's feeling better Tuesday (and is out of the boot), we'll wait until Wednesday's injury report surfaces to make a clearer assessment on his status.
Tue Oct 14 201401:58Brandon Myers:
Myers recorded two receptions for 29 yards on two targets in Sunday's 48-17 loss to the Ravens.
Myers's already-meager value took a hit when teammate Austin Seferian-Jenkins returned to health. After failing to receive a single target in each of his last two games, Myers did return to the stat sheet Sunday, but in rather underwhelming fashion.

Myers had five receptions for 33 yards on five targets in Thursday's 56-14 loss to the Falcons.
Myers hasn't taken advantage of Austin Seferian-Jenkins' (ankle) absence, though he hasn't had much chance in a flailing offense. Myers had just one catch for five yards in the first half, and then added a few more short grabs once the outcome was decided. His long gain went for nine yards.

Myers had two catches on two targets for 49 yards in Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Rams.
The 29-year-old tight end's outing followed a six-catch, 41-yard performance in Week 1. Despite the fact Austin Seferian-Jenkins was inactive, Myers was unable to capitalize on his absence with a great showing.

Myers recorded six receptions on eight targets for 41 yards in Sunday's loss to the the Panthers.
Myers got the lion's share of touches among Buccaneer tight ends. Austin Seferian-Jenkins had just one catch that went for 26 yards, and was targeted only twice. Seferian-Jenkins is viewed as the superior future player, but Myers was the one able to establish himself as McCown's go-to tight end Sunday. Myers caught 47 passes for 522 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games a year ago for the Giants and could be in store for another successful season.
