McCain is expected to start at corner for the Dolphins Sunday versus the Redskins, according to the Miami Herald.
McCain may have won the job by default when Jamar Taylor suffered a quad injury but it doesn't matter as he will have his hands full Sunday with DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon.

Tue Apr 1 201413:05Steelers add CB Brice McCain
Steelers signed CB Brice McCain, formerly of the Texans.
The 27-year-old was cut by the Texans last month after having a horrid season that saw him grade out as Pro Football Focus' worst corner out of 110 qualifiers. McCain will try and earn a reserve and special teams role with Pittsburgh.

Free agent CB Brice McCain is visiting the Steelers.
McCain, 27, was released by the Texans at the start of the new league year. Due to his size (5-foot-9, 187), McCain is purely a nickel corner and special teams player. He was Pro Football Focus' worst-ranked corner last season.

Tue Mar 11 201410:32Texans release CB Brice McCain, save $850K
Texans released CB Brice McCain.
McCain signed a three-year, $5.25 million deal with Houston last March but got torched in coverage, grading out as Pro Football Focus' worst cover corner out of 110 qualifiers. He's still just 27. At 5-foot-9, 187, McCain is purely a nickel corner. The move saves the Texans $850,000 versus the cap.

Tue Mar 19 201323:08Texans re-sign slot CB McCain to 3-year deal
Texans re-signed CB Brice McCain to a three-year contract.
McCain was seeking $3.5-$5 million per season, but almost certainly settled for less in the frigid cornerback market. The Texans' slot corner each of the past three seasons, McCain notched 24 tackles and a pick in 2012. He played just 461 snaps, however, and graded out near the bottom of Pro Football Focus' CB ratings. That was likely due in part to the fact that he spent some time on the outside as Johnathan Joseph fought through injury.

Tue Mar 12 201314:34Brice McCain wants at least $3 million
Free agent CB Brice McCain's rep believes he's worth $3.5-$5 million per season.
"I would say Brice probably fits in there," McCain's rep said. The slot corner could find himself on the open market for a while if he sticks to those guns. $3-$4 million makes more sense for a nickel corner who played fewer than 500 snaps each of the past two seasons.

Wed Feb 27 201316:40'Rumblings' Eagles are eyeing CB McCain
According to CSN Philly, there were "rumblings" at the Combine the Eagles have interest in free agent CB Brice McCain.
The Texans' slot corner, McCain could be an option for the same role in Philly if the Eagles are forced to move Brandon Boykin to the outside. McCain graded out poorly in Pro Football Focus' 2012 ratings, but was better in 2011. He's made four career picks in 56 games.

Sun Dec 2 201214:30Texans lose CB McCain to foot injury
Texans CB Brice McCain left Sunday's game against the Titans with a foot injury.
McCain started at right corner in place of the injured Johnathan Joseph, so the Texans are pretty banged up in the secondary. Second-year corner Brandon Harris is now in the game.
