Chargers LG Chad Rinehart (foot) has been ruled out for Week 4 versus Dallas.

Fri Jun 14 201319:37Chad Rinehart expected to stat at left guard
Chad Rinehart is expected to be the Chargers' starting left guard this season.
A former third-round flameout in Washington, Rinehart is now on his third NFL team. From left to right, San Diego's O-Line is expected to read LT Max Starks, LG Rinehart, C Nick Hardwick, RG Jeromey Clary, and RT D.J. Fluker. The rag-tag unit is the primary reason it's hard to love Chargers in fantasy this year.

Wed Mar 13 201313:26Chargers agree to deal with OL Chad Rinehart
Chargers agreed to terms with OG Chad Rinehart, formerly of the Bills, on a one-year contract.
The deal is pending a physical. It's easy to connect the dots here. Rinehart, 28 in May, played under new Chargers' OL coach Joe D'Alessandris in Buffalo for the last three seasons. Rinehart is a fine backup with starting experience. He started 17 games in his three years in Buffalo.

Mon Oct 29 201216:07Rinehart likely headed to injured reserve
Bills coach Chan Gailey expects RG Chad Rinehart (ankle) to end up on injured reserve.
The walking-wounded Bills need roster spots, and with Kraig Urbik (ankle) finally due back in Week 9, Rinehart is a logical candidate for the shelf. Rinehart graded out positively as both a run and pass blocker in Pro Football Focus' ratings, but Urbik's return should give the Bills a boost, particularly in the run game.

Mon Oct 22 201211:28Chad Rinehart out indefinitely
Bills RG Chad Rinehart (ankle) is out indefinitely.
"It's not good, but it's going to be long term," coach Chan Gailey said Monday. "I don't know if it's season (ending), but it's long term." Rinehart was filling in for Kraig Urbik (ankle), who's expected back following the Bills' Week 8 bye.

Mon Apr 23 201215:45Bills re-sign Chad Rinehart
Bills re-signed restricted free agent RG Chad Rinehart to a one-year, $1.26 million contract.
The 27-year-old Rinehart started 12 games last season, shuffling between left and right guard. Pro Football Focus gave him strong pass-blocking grades, and considered him fairly effective as a run blocker. Rinehart did outplay Kraig Urbik, and should return as the starting right guard with Eric Wood at center and Andy Levitre at left guard. Urbik figures to be the top reserve.

Mon Mar 12 201210:23Bills tender guards Rinehart and Urbik
Bills tendered contracts to restricted free agent guards Chad Rinehart and Kraig Urbik.
The move allows the Bills to match any offer Rinehart or Urbik receive on the open market. The Bills did not reveal what level either player was tendered at, but it is believed to be higher than the lowest level. That would allow Buffalo to receive draft-pick compensation if it chooses not to match an offer. Urbik made 13 starts at right guard in 2011, while Rinehart appeared in all 16 games in a swing role, making 12 starts.

Mon Jan 30 201211:33Bills to lock up Rinehart, Urbik?
BuffaloBills.com's Chris Brown thinks the Bills may attempt to work out long-term agreements with restricted free agent guards Chad Rinehart and Kraig Urbik.
Both are expected to be tendered qualifying offers, but it would make sense for the Bills to lock them up heading into their age-27 seasons. Urbik was the team's starting right guard, while Rinehart served in a swing role. Both graded out as top-20 guards by Pro Football Focus.

Tue Aug 16 201119:06Bills offensive line still a mess
Chad Rinehart replaced LG Andy Levitre in the starting lineup in Tuesday's practice.
The change isn't likely to last, but it's a reminder that the Bills offensive line is a mess. Levitre and RG Kraig Urbik are well below average, as are the Bills starting tackles. While coach Chan Gailey is one of the brightest offensive minds in the game, the shaky O-Line leaves Buffalo's fantasy players as low-upside draft picks.

Sun Dec 19 201009:58Chad Rinehart draws the start at right guard
Bills RG Chad Rinehart will start for the team in Week 15.
A bust in Washington D.C., Rinehart spent a majority of the season on Buffalo's practice squad. He's being forced into action with starting RG Eric Wood filling in at center for the injured Geoff Hangartner. His insertion into the starting lineup doesn't bode well for Fred Jackson, who comes in as our No. 18 ranked running back play.

Tue Dec 14 201009:02Rinehart earns starting job
Bills OG Chad Rinehart has earned the starting job at right guard.
Rinehart split time with Cordaro Howard in Week 14 but outplayed him. "Chad played a lot better than I anticipated he would," Gailey said. "We'll go through the rest of the week, but the way he played, he certainly deserves to start this week and we'll see how we handle the rotation and how we work that."

Tue Dec 7 201016:29Bills promote OG Chad Rinehart
Bills signed OG Chad Rinehart from their practice squad.
A third-round pick in 2008, Rinehart was a major disappointment for the Redskins the past two seasons. He'll add depth to a retooled offensive line that has been hit hard by injuries over the past couple of weeks. Fred Jackson better hope Rinehart doesn't see the field.
Tue Jun 22 201015:31Rinehart found guilty of public intoxication
Redskins OG Chad Rinehart has been found guilty of public intoxication in connection with a Jan. 18 incident at the University of Northern Iowa.
Rinehart was trying to get into a closed Mojo's Pizza House at 2:00 a.m. when an officer noticed that he was drunk. His roster spot is already on the line this summer with the upgrades along the Redskins' offensive line.
